Have eaten there several times. With a reservation you are on the safe side. Great attentive service, lovely ambience and one of the best pizzas we've ever tasted. We'll definitely be back!

Reason for visiting? We were in search of a decent place for a good pizza after being disappointed by a local rival. My (subjective) take on the restaurant and its audience: Don't be fooled. Hellweger initially feels more like an upscale restaurant. Professional service, elegant decor. However, the pizzas impress both in taste and value for money. The beer selection is small but solid and the wine menu extensive. Was the food delicious? Absolutely, we had the Crudi and Gorgonzola with spicy salami. Thin, crispy crust, not drowned in cheese or tomato sauce, with high-quality toppings thoughtfully distributed on the pizza. Service style? Very professional and friendly during reception, taking orders, and serving. No hint of arrogance or pomposity, which unfortunately plagues some restaurants in Meran. Price-performance ratio? Very good, the excellently crafted pizzas are large and range between €12 and €16. A very good wheat beer for €6 for 0.5l. Atmosphere? Subdued lighting, quiet, relaxed ambiance, with professionally understated yet friendly service. What did I like specifically? The pizza was outstanding. Would I visit again? Without a doubt, definitely. In the summer, you can also enjoy sitting in the courtyard. Comments: Keep it up. A thoroughly pleasant experience all around. If I had a wish..., please add a wider beer selection.

Very nice restaurant in the center of Merano, adjacent to the Duomo. In addition to pizza they also have fish and obviously revisited typical dishes. We had appetizers, risotto and meat main courses, all really good, plentiful dishes and excellent desserts too. Friendly and kind staff.

The best without a doubt is the service, exquisite attention, they make an effort to understand in different languages. Great warmth in the environment with a price appropriate to the quality of the products

Locale situato nel centro storico che si presenta arredato con cura ed una certa eleganza. Il personale molto gentile e professionale. La qualità buona con prezzi nella media. Consigliato.

We had already been to this place a few years ago. We had a very good time this time too. The pizza is very good, the red turnip rice and the sea bass fillet are excellent. The menu doesn't have all the South Tyrolean specialties but it is absolutely recommended. They were very courteous in the room, we hadn't booked but they still found a place for us.

Etwas versteckt am Anfang ( Ende ) der Laubengänge mit einem kleinem, bestuhlten Innenhof sowie einer stylischen inneneinrichtung. Wir waren 2x dort, bei längerem Urlaub wären wir erneut wieder eingekehrt. Freundliche, kompetente Bedienung, leckere Speisen ( diverse Pizzen und Fleisch-angebote ) und eine schöne Atmosphäre im Innenhof.
