05/11/2025: The bacon dumplings were unfortunately very dense. The salad was presented rather carelessly, the bread slices should have been crispier, some of the tomato pieces were enormous, the apricot dumpling was good, but the vanilla sauce was very runny and lacked any thickening. The plate could have been presented more attractively. They should consider whether the butter and cinnamon crumbs were sufficient. Perhaps a dollop of cream would be more visually appealing and better in terms of taste. The service was very attentive, almost a bit too much so. The ambiance was very nice.

23/09/2025: A very nice Refugio with fantastic food.Had potato ravioli filled with goat cheese and great tomato sauce. Probably better than the Michelin starred restaurant we eat in the other night. Definitely worth the hike.
12/09/2025: We had such a great time that we even decided to get married in this wonderful retreat. The staff was kind and professional, and Armin is fantastic! You absolutely have to come here!

21/12/2025: A very good hotel with excellent food. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and courteous. We felt very comfortable. We would gladly return!
06/11/2025: We stayed at the Hotel Rösselwirt during the last week of October and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very tastefully decorated, and the rooms and bathrooms were very spacious. The food was varied, and every evening the half-board menu included a South Tyrolean specialty. A vegetarian main course was also available.
The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and the service was exceptionally friendly.
We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

12/02/2026: For me, one of the best mountain huts—if not the best—on the Seiser Alm!
The hut itself is tiny. Inside, there are only three (large) tables. You can also sit outside.
What I found simply wonderful here was the cozy atmosphere and the food. Many huts on the Seiser Alm offer fantastic food, even Wagyu beef. Certainly good, but at a ski lodge, I want proper mountain hut fare!
The very friendly staff perfectly complements the atmosphere.
I'll definitely be back!

It's always the best!
05/01/2026: We went to this restaurant both at the recommendation of the managers of the hotel where we were staying in San Vigilio, the Chalet Corso, and remembering the episode of Four Restaurants where poor Uli was unfairly undermined by the other contestants, despite having received the highest scores from the chef. The judgment was a real thrill for both me and my family. And the Maso is truly quaint and charming, the staff is excellent, and the dishes combine tradition with research into tasty and refined combinations.

11/11/2025: A typical South Tyrolean tavern where you sit at large tables with other diners. Excellent food, extensive menu. Excellent wine and beer. Fast and accurate service. Payment only in cash or via instant bank transfer. Call on weekends as they are often full.

20/02/2026: A truly fantastic pizzeria with a clear and concise menu. They mainly offer pizza and a few salads, and you can immediately tell that the focus is deliberately on the pizzas. And I think you can taste it!
The quality was excellent and the staff friendly. I would definitely come back.

Very tasty pizzas and very reasonably priced.
06/02/2026: Best pizza in town. Easy to get to. There are a few parking spaces right outside.
My favorite pizza is the Hoidr – I've never had such a good pizza.
Definitely make a reservation. The place is always packed.

04/01/2026: Tartar, filet steak and wine (cab) all amazing. Ravioli was horrible and no one seemed to care. No tip possible on card which is a management decision. This leads to waitstaff getting stiffed when people don’t have cash which is probably why they don’t seem to care.

My standout dish?
The tartare, available in two sizes, freshly prepared at your table.
