The Wiener Schnitzel was an absolute dream – crispy, tender, and simply perfectly prepared. Add to that a magnificent view and a wonderful ambiance that invites you to linger. Special mention goes to the welcoming hostess, who made the visit a thoroughly enjoyable experience with her open and warm manner.
A place that we'd happily recommend and will definitely visit again!

We stayed at Gampen Alm during our hike and absolutely loved it. The location is stunning — remote, peaceful, and surrounded by mountains. The food was delicious and the showers were honestly the best I’ve had on a trek — super clean, new, and with hot water!
If you’re passing through, this place is a gem.
12/06/2025: About the restaurant (we didn't stay overnight): Great view from the outside area, very cozy interior, delicious and mostly homemade food. The service was outstanding.

22/06/2025: We happened to be there by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was exceptionally delicious! Unfortunately, a noisy scooter occasionally passes by on the road, but otherwise, it was the best pizza between Resia and Lake Garda! Thank you very much.

02/07/2025: The hut is located a little below the gas lift, so there were fewer people there. The panorama is beautiful. The service was very friendly. The food was okay, though the pasta was a bit overcooked.

22/06/2025: We stopped at the Winklerhof for refreshments and a drink while hiking along the Rabland Waalweg. Both the vitello tonnato (unfortunately, no photo) and the hotel's own interpretations of desserts are highly recommended. The service was also very friendly, the prices reasonable, and the ambiance pleasant.
17/06/2025: My absolute favorite... A visit to Rabland is incomplete without the Winklerhof.
Super delicious food, amazing service, and the view of the Vinschgau Valley is not to be despised!
...and I brought the Kaiserschmarrn for later...An absolute culinary experience!
Maybe we'll manage to stay overnight in the apartment sometime!

15/06/2025: Wonderful food and setting. We came in mid June and enjoyed the green views. Many outdoor tables with large umbrellas so we won’t get sun burnt. Service is great. I love that the food is decorated with flowers, very pretty.
I tried kaiserschmarnn for the first time here - so delicious! Many places list it as a main item but here they offer it as dessert too.
You can park your car by the side of the road.

27/06/2025: Beautiful mountain hut at the end of a relaxing path suitable for children and elderly people that starts from the center of Plan. You can reach the hut in about 1.5 hours.
Very kind and smiling staff, we ordered two canederli and a slice of cake. Everything was delicious and high quality. Their house spritz is also interesting! New structure with super clean and modern bathrooms.

15/06/2025: Gelato shop suggested by locals I went to try a cone. I chose two flavors fiordilatte and tiramisu. The quantity is generous considering that in the area you often have less for the same price. The fiordilatte disappointed me, not very tasty I didn't taste the milk. I had a decent tiramisu. I will return to try other flavors

27/04/2025: Liebevoller freundlicher professioneller Service durch Fam. Trafoier. Hervorragendes 5-Gänge-Menu, alle Gerichte sehr gut, außergewöhnliche Patisserie. Hervorzuheben sind noch die offenen Weine kleiner Winzer und die sehr gute Weinberatung. Und: sehr gut zu erreichen mit der Vinschger Bahn. Danke!
