15/06/2026: As someone who has traveled to more than 30 countries and stayed in many different hotels, I can confidently say that this is one of the nicest hotels I’ve experienced. We reserved a mini suite, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was spotless, very well equipped, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. The food was delicious, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and accommodating to all our needs. We are very happy we chose this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

20/05/2026: A really nice restaurant in a small village. We didn't have a reservation, but we were able to eat. Although we went into the kitchen, it was really fun to watch the pizza being made from up close. The pizza was a bit watery, but it tasted really good.

14/06/2026: This place is a hidden gem that provides great food and views!!! We had lunch here. The Knödel was so delicious, although the soup was a little bit too salty to my palate. The schlutzkrapfen was decent as well. We also had chocolate dumplings as desserts; they were fantastic. The vibe was extremely chill, and the stuff super friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!!!

12/06/2026: A charming, rustic atmosphere and excellent, friendly service. The food, whether meat or pasta, is of superb quality. The wine selection is fantastic. In summer, you can sit under a walnut tree. The highlight is probably the 1,000-gram Fiorentina T-bone steak.

13/05/2026: A truly special place! Finding this dreamy hotel was pure chance. We had only intended to have a coffee on the beautiful terrace with its stunning views. But as soon as we entered, we were captivated by the unique atmosphere (accompanied by modern lounge music). Warmly greeted by the owner, we took a seat. The young waiter, Viktor, was incredibly friendly and attentive, and our coffee was a delight. We spontaneously extended our holiday by two days and stayed at the Gloriette Guesthouse. That was a year ago. Now we're back for the second time and are just as thrilled as the first. The rooms are stylish and tastefully decorated. Nothing is lacking, and the view from the room and balcony is breathtaking. We highly recommend booking half-board, as the cuisine is, in our opinion, Michelin-star quality. Breakfast, as they say, is the most important meal of the day. The young management of this family-run business clearly thought so too, because it's a dream of the highest quality, combined with exceptionally warm service from young, local staff! The thoroughly successful concept is rounded off by a rooftop wellness area with a sauna, relaxation area, and the highlight: a rooftop pool with a unique panoramic mountain view! The South Tyrol Guest Pass, included in the price, offers free use of mountain lifts, public transport, admission to attractions, and much more. In short: This hotel completely won us over and deserves 5/5 stars in every respect!

11/05/2026: Update 2026, Like a vacation with good friends. We came for a week in May and immediately felt warmly welcomed and cared for. A week full of fun (thank you to Christoph for the wonderful wine tasting with exquisite wines) and wellbeing (special thanks to Sarah and Julia). Julika and Andi have a truly special team who anticipate their guests' every need. Add to that the hotel's exclusive location and our excitement about the planned expansion, including the outdoor pool. Until next time. ❤️ What can I say? We stayed at this beautiful hotel a year ago and spent seven wonderful nights and days. The entire hotel exudes incredible coziness; we felt at home from the very first moment. The cuisine is indescribably good, so it's no wonder that even though we're vacationing in Merano this year, we have to return here to have lunch in this wonderful hotel. 29/06/2026: We're here on vacation and really wanted to eat authentic Italian pizza. We asked where to find the best one and weren't disappointed. The service was very, very polite. The food was delicious. We got two vegan pizzas and ordered the pizza dough as focaccia for one pizza. It's the best pizza dough we've had in a long time.

12/07/2026: Fantastic lunch. Getting up there is worth the trip (as Barbieri would say). We left behind a warm Merano, but when we arrived, there was a fantastic breeze. Beautiful views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Service was friendly and fast. Delicious food: we had the salad with breaded brie, homemade tagliolini carbonara, mixed grill, a trio of dumplings, and then dessert—a superb ricotta cake with a 10/10 sponge cake, and then, to top it all off, a local specialty, apricot dumplings (2,000 calories a bite, but unmissable). We'll see you again soon!

15/05/2026: I didn't visit the accommodations, only the view from the location. Sensational. The accommodations were closed in May when I visited.

06/04/2026: There are many beautiful places in the world, but for over 40 years, Chalet Gerard has been my absolute dream destination!!! 😍 It's always like "coming home"—everything is just perfect here! A quick stop for some strudel is a must, and staying overnight in the beautiful rooms with delicious food is simply divine!
