We had a wonderful stay at the historic Finailhof, which I previously only knew as a summer stopover. The apartment was spacious, very comfortably furnished, and offered a breathtaking view. The wood-burning stove was lit every day. We enjoyed the varied breakfast in the dining room – always fresh cheese and ham, boiled eggs, fruit, and muesli, everything was there. The dumplings and Kaiserschmarren (shredded pancake) in the evening were also excellent. A huge thank you to the whole family for their warm hospitality – we felt very comfortable and welcome, especially with our little screamer. The tour of the stables was also a highlight for our daughter and me. We will definitely be back!

Excellent food, fair prices, beautiful lake view, but for us the wait was too long. It's still worth it, perhaps after a nice walk along the trail.

Finailhof is a truly special place with an impressive location high above the Vernagt reservoir. The view of the mountains and the valley is simply breathtaking. The farm's history stretches far back, which is immediately apparent in its rustic atmosphere. The large sun terrace is particularly lovely and perfect for a break after a hike. The service was friendly and attentive. Anyone wanting to experience authentic South Tyrolean charm and a spectacular view will find it here. A worthwhile detour – highly recommended.

A wonderful end to the year. We enjoyed the delicious New Year's Eve menu with friends and family. It was fantastic. The hospitality was 5 stars plus!!! We'll be back next year. Thank you so much for the lovely last evening of 2025 😍

01/06/2026: It's always worth the drive up here. I don't usually eat pasta when I'm traveling (I prefer to make it myself), but here I can really enjoy it. We had the spaghetti with tomatoes and zucchini, simply outstanding. Because this pasta is so good, I'll keep ordering it. Next time I'll try something different, I promise. Thank you for the excellent food and very friendly service.

17/05/2026: The menu is well thought out, featuring a selection of local dishes. There are also options for vegetarians, and seasonal ingredients are taken into account. The table was beautifully set and presented. We'll definitely be back.
