We had lunch here while passing through on our way to Lake Garda. The restaurant is extremely beautifully decorated, the food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was good, though it could have been improved. This is understandable, as the restaurant is large, popular, and has a wonderfully labyrinthine layout, so I completely understand the service issues. Nevertheless, I'm giving it 5 stars, even for the service.

I went to Wiedenplatzerkeller at the recommendation of my friend Fulvio, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was a truly amazing experience in every way. Authentic Flavors: We had a divine lunch. The dumplings are among the best I've ever had, and the asparagus was simply amazing, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Top Hospitality: The manager is incredibly kind and attentive, one of those hosts who truly knows how to pamper their guests. Fair Price: The prices are definitely reasonable, which makes the experience even more enjoyable given the high quality of the food. If you're looking for authentic South Tyrolean cuisine in Naturno, this is the place. I'll definitely be back (and I'll thank Fulvio, the "local expert," again for introducing me to this authentic restaurant!). Bravo!

We love going to the Wiedenplatzerkeller whenever we're in Merano. The food is excellent, and the service is very friendly and attentive. We always enjoy coming back. Keep up the good work!
