16/10/2025: Pure warmth - the hosts make all the difference! What a wonderful hotel! What made our holiday in South Tyrol so unique were the hosts. They are so warm and attentive that you feel welcome and completely at home from the very first moment. This personal touch and their willingness to help are unbeatable. The entire staff, following this example, is super friendly and service-oriented. We were also more than spoiled with the culinary delights. The food was a delight – regional, fresh produce, creatively prepared. The absolute highlight, however, was the homemade ice cream, a recommendation from the hosts that we happily followed every day. The rooms are spotlessly clean, very well-maintained, and comfortably furnished. You can feel the loving touch of the hosts everywhere. The location is also top-notch. Whether walking to the picturesque village center or to the hiking trails – everything is ideally accessible. Conclusion: We highly recommend this hotel! Above all, the hosts create an unforgettably beautiful atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

23/09/2025: A very nice Refugio with fantastic food.Had potato ravioli filled with goat cheese and great tomato sauce. Probably better than the Michelin starred restaurant we eat in the other night. Definitely worth the hike.

12/09/2025: We had such a great time that we even decided to get married in this wonderful retreat. The staff was kind and professional, and Armin is fantastic! You absolutely have to come here!

20/10/2025: Very good food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere with a fantastic view. A particular highlight was the beef tartare prepared at our table. You don't get that very often these days. We'd be happy to come back.

11/10/2025: An absolute highlight from start to finish during our week in Kaltern. That means: excellent, attentive, and friendly service without being overly pretentious or overly fussy, and various seating options were offered depending on your preference. The prices are a bit high, but definitely worth it -> extremely delicious and perfectly prepared. A great wine selection. All in all, a fantastic evening, and we will definitely be back on our next visit to Kaltern!

From the phone call to the table reservation, which I was already totally thrilled with because of the super-friendly phone call, to the wonderful welcome, we felt truly valued as guests. 12/10/2025: An absolute must-see! The entire property is designed with such attention to detail – what the owners have created here is simply stunning. The food was outstanding, and the value for money is beyond top-notch. No one should have anything to complain about here! Parking is a bit tricky, but there's the option to walk up from the bus stop – which I highly recommend. It's worth the walk! I'm already looking forward to returning here on my next vacation. Simply a wonderful place to enjoy and feel good!

11/10/2025: We've been going to this family for years and years, and the food has always been excellent. But I just can't stand the tripe diluted with cream. Maybe they've changed the kitchen staff because some dishes were better before. They're always very good at providing great service.

16/10/2025: Beautiful plates, but not much to it... Rigati all'arrabbiata? Anything but arrabbiata, but al dente nonetheless. The "mixed salad": green salad with sand between your teeth, four fagioli verdi, and canned corn... The black plate looks classy, ​​but belies the lack of passion in the kitchen. The large sun terrace lacks cushioned seating; they're probably only available upon request. Tourists, cyclists, and workers are constantly queuing here, it's just a shame that the food falls by the wayside... Conclusion: Beautiful place, friendly service, but there's plenty of room for improvement in the culinary department... 🚲🚲🚲 Only 3 out of 5

16/10/2025: We spent three days in Burgstall And three days at the Etschgrund for dinner. The food was excellent all three days. We received a very friendly welcome upon entry. Most restaurants could learn a thing or two from the friendliness of the waitress and the manager.

12/11/2025: We stopped for lunch at this restaurant on our way to Trentino. The food here is really good, with plentiful and well-prepared dishes. They offer both traditional Trentino dishes and sandwiches and other items. Everything is excellent, the service is good, and the prices are reasonable.

05/10/2025: More than a refuge, it's a beautiful restaurant serving excellent food at competitive prices. The building is recently built (or renovated) and features large outdoor spaces. Inside, they've managed to create a modern and functional atmosphere that still respects the aesthetics of a traditional mountain building, where raw wood dominates. This last point is commendable and far from a given, as the modern/traditional mix isn't always so successful.

30/10/2025: My subjective review as a solo traveler/diner this time (my first review of Wally's Pizzeria is now 9 years old and could use an update). First off, everything is still excellent, in detail: 1. The food (quality, taste, selection, flexibility): Everything is top-notch without reservation. My pizza was, as always, superb, the dough fantastic, the topping (porcini) perfect. And despite the huge number of options on the menu, I once again had an extra topping request (bacon) – no problem. For me, definitely the best pizza in Naturns and the surrounding area. 2. Value for money: absolutely fair 3. Service and staff: extremely friendly; you feel like a guest here, which is no longer a given in Naturns and elsewhere. 4. Atmosphere and ambiance: I like it, even though I'm always a bit bothered by the slightly too bright lighting. Dim it! :-) 5. Price level: absolutely okay, see also point 2. 11. Recommendation: anytime, whether dining in or Takeaway. What I'm wondering is: Was Wally actually serving me?

28/10/2025: Cozy café with various vegan options (you should like peanut butter). Friendly service; if you sit outside, you'll have to go inside to order. The food was very tasty, although the couscous bowl had too much peanut butter for our taste, compared to the fruit and couscous. At the Beagle, the peanut butter was too heavy on the chocolate, but it was still delicious. We'll be back.

26/10/2025: We never expected such a great cafe in the heart of Merano. It's a bit off the beaten tourist track, very close to a large parking lot, and it was fantastic. A small garden under beautiful fig trees is worth every step. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance inside and outside was simply wonderful. You can feel at home here. The drinks and snacks on offer were fantastic. You don't just get the usual fare here, but also a lot of something extraordinary. For us, Merano wouldn't exist without Cafe Villa. No other cafe can compete.

30/10/2025: A charming refreshment point inside Salorno Castle, where you can have breakfast or lunch. The owners are kind and helpful, and you can also visit the remains of the castle for free. Recommended (we ate a delicious, generous slice of whole-wheat cake with homemade blueberry jam, and the coffee was just so-so). I forgot to mention that to reach the castle, you have to walk along a wide but steep path for about 20-30 meters, depending on your pace.

26/10/2025: Stunning medieval castle nestled on a rocky outcrop above the village of Salorno. The setting is beautiful, meticulously designed and one-of-a-kind. Excellent service and very friendly, welcoming staff were available to explain the menu in detail. We spent a delightful Sunday in a setting you don't experience every day. We can't wait to return for the Knights' Dinner!
