14/11/2025: We had reserved a table for dinner for two. The service was exceptionally attentive, going above and beyond, from offering complimentary wine tastings to bringing an extra bread basket free of charge. The bread was sensational, the food regional and delicious, and the ambiance, a restored farmhouse, is beautiful. We were very satisfied and would gladly return.

30/01/2026: Few reviews, but good ones, only where it's worth it. And here it's worth it! Everything is delicious, even the bread and breadsticks from the bakery, served with delicious creamed butter. Quality, fresh, and above all local products. Original and never boring combinations of flavors. Pumpkin gnocchi with homemade smoked speck, beetroot with goat cheese and cashews, grilled beef from a local producer was SPECTACULAR, melting in the mouth without being greasy. Unfortunately, dessert wasn't included! Excellent wine selection, even by the glass. The manager is very good, explaining the dishes and helping you choose. Trust him with the wine selection, too. The young woman in the dining room is also very good, kind, and sweet. Definitely worth returning whenever you're in the area!

10/03/2026: I've been coming here every winter for years. It's a very nice place, sunny outside, and very cozy inside when the weather is bad. Our food was delicious; besides the trio of dumplings, the Kaiserschmarrn with its sensational coleslaw was fantastic. Only the house wine is unfortunately no longer drinkable; it was definitely better in the past. A shame.

08/03/2026: Oberegger simply offers the best food you could wish for. The sun terrace is especially beautiful and inviting. The service is always quick and friendly, making you feel completely at ease. A definite recommendation – I'll definitely be back!

04/01/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the historic Finailhof, which I previously only knew as a summer stopover. The apartment was spacious, very comfortably furnished, and offered a breathtaking view. The wood-burning stove was lit every day. We enjoyed the varied breakfast in the dining room – always fresh cheese and ham, boiled eggs, fruit, and muesli, everything was there. The dumplings and Kaiserschmarren (shredded pancake) in the evening were also excellent. A huge thank you to the whole family for their warm hospitality – we felt very comfortable and welcome, especially with our little screamer. The tour of the stables was also a highlight for our daughter and me. We will definitely be back!

03/01/2026: Excellent food, fair prices, beautiful lake view, but for us the wait was too long. It's still worth it, perhaps after a nice walk along the trail.

The atmosphere is fairytale-like, especially knowing that the historic residence is still cherished by a family . The cuisine is pure South Tyrolean tradition at its finest. The canederli are a must — perfectly balanced and deeply authentic. The homemade tagliatelle are equally excellent. If you are lucky enough to find venison on the menu, don’t hesitate — it is outstanding. What makes Turwirt even more special is that it has been run by the same family for five generations. You can feel the continuity, the care, and the genuine hospitality in every detail. A timeless place where tradition, warmth, and atmosphere come together beautifully

24/02/2026: For me, Turmwirt is always a must whenever I come to the mountains for my yearly week away. It’s one of those places that never disappoints — a true classic. The setting is beautiful, full of charm and history, with an authentic atmosphere that really makes you feel you’re in South Tyrol. You can sense the tradition in every detail. The cuisine is genuinely alpine, with a menu deeply rooted in local South Tyrolean products and high-quality ingredients. You can really taste the care in both the selection of ingredients and the preparation. The dumplings (canederli) are always excellent, and I highly recommend the braised beef cheek — incredibly tender and full of flavor. A beautiful place, welcoming and above all delicious. It’s always a pleasure to come back.

Good quality food and excellent desserts. Friendly and helpful staff. In addition to indoor dining, there are also a few outdoor tables. Reservations recommended.

08/03/2026: We were at this wonderful restaurant with a typical local feel!!! The building is quaint, all in wood, elegant and rustic at the same time! The food was delicious, even my little ones were satisfied, and the staff were welcoming and smiling! I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well but feel at home!!! Excellent!
