01/04/2024: Super nice boss - authentic with South Tyrolean wit and charm! Perfect steaks: Tomahawk steak, Chateaubriant, onion roast. Great salad buffet. We often visited this great restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Wonderful wine selection. Thank you for the lovely evenings.

31/03/2024: The six of us ate in the restaurant twice. There was a large selection, great meat dishes, a very good wine selection and very courteous and friendly service. We'll definitely come back 👍

18/03/2024: A place to linger with a great view and a rustic restaurant. The dumplings are really tasty and recommended. The Kaiserschmarrn is the best I've ever had.

12/01/2024: Great atmosphere and friendly service. Food very tasty, coleslaw perhaps needed a little more seasoning. A bit more expensive than other cabins in the area.

04/04/2024: Wonderful stopover for cyclists. The bruschetta was tasty and plentiful, and the service was top notch. The entire staff was warm, helpful and totally in a good mood. Clear recommendation!

04/04/2024: Warm welcome in a rustic atmosphere. The cordon bleu was quite good, unfortunately from the deep fryer. The potato salad was ok, unfortunately a bit bland. The highlight was actually the Vitello Tonnato. The bottom line is that everything worked out so far.

03/04/2024: Wow, the food was to die for and so was the service. Everyone was super nice and accommodating. Actually worth even more stars. And the view from up here is awesome too. We were here with our motorhome and will definitely come back. Since you can't make a reservation, you have to come early. We were lucky and got one of the last coveted places. From up here you can easily walk to Meran and take the bus back. It's free with the Tirol Card, which you get when checking in.

02/04/2024: Spinach dumplings and spaghetti were very tasty, we got a table straight away, but in the summer I think it's better to make a reservation and the service was friendly

24/03/2024: We spent our honeymoon in South Tyrol and reserved a room for a week in the family-run Hotel Sonnenheim. We really enjoyed our stay there. From the cleanliness of the hotel to the really large and comfortable rooms (in our case including a balcony with a panoramic view) to the wide range of wellness options including sauna, massage treatments (inexpensive) and relaxation areas; You can have a good time here! The staff was consistently friendly and the food was simply delicious. By bus (stop directly in front of the hotel) you can reach Meran in about 30 minutes. It was probably not the last time we would be in this beautiful area and in this really great hotel.

15/03/2024: Extremely friendly and courteous staff. Special requests will also be addressed to your complete satisfaction. Great sauna area. Large, modern and cozy rooms. We were accommodated in the new building. A great experience, thank you very much!

11/02/2024: Spacious, clean and very welcoming rooms. The restaurant is excellent and the food is excellent. Good breakfast. They have private parking in the back.

03/02/2024: We stopped for a coffee (they have Caroma as their coffee which is a must and at the correct price!) and a slice of strudel, very good. Unfortunately in the winter they don't do dinner and we couldn't stop there, but it's definitely a place worth trying. 23/03/2024: Good evening. First of all, I would like to thank the team, especially Mrs Jennifer, for their availability, understanding, help and professionalism overall! We highly recommend Engels Park hotel and it is only up to you to choose the right room and amenities that meet your desires! I am one of the Romanian group, mentioned by Frau Bartl…And I really wanted to give also a feedback to her comments, as they are not according to the truth.😒 Yes, we were a big group, with 20 children actually. Of all ages, from 2 to 16 years old. And, just like you, we were hotel guests, we payed and had the right to enjoy our holiday! And they were not on “Silent mode” all the time, as anyone can imagine. They are children, they talk, play, run to their rooms, etc. So, again, I am sorry and apologize if they disturbed the other clients at times. But, they were not doing it after 22 o’clock! We actually went to sleep early most of the nights, as we were there for skying! And, as I told you then, when you were shouting at our children😣, if you don’t like kids and want to be in a very silent hotel, you can go to an Adults Only. Engels Park is not an adults only hotel. But I do want to underline a very important fact! That Miss Jennifer and the owner were there at all times, and every time a client complained that the children are too noisy, they came to us and took the appropriate measures! They did the same, in our last evening, when YOU provocate the monster scandal! The evening that YOU and your supposed son in law verbally attacked our children, and almost hit one of them😡! This, without any adult present! My 6 years old son was so scared, that he was in shock! And your son in law actually used sexual language to offend and shout at our daughters! 😡😡😡 And when one of the parents of our group came up the stairs, was also your son that jumped at his throat! I was really tempted, and only out of respect for you and for our children I did not put the video online! But now I wish we had called the police, as I am sure he wouldn’t have remained unpunished! So, let me tell you, if you have a problem with minor children, you do not attack them, scary them and make sexual allusions at young girls!! You go to the hotel’s personnel and to their parents! And you solve it LIKE AN ADULT, if you claim to be one! So, at this point, who’s children do you think are less educated?!?! Our minor kids, or your over 30 son??!😒 If you have a problem with the children, you have options! We are all humans, and there is always a solution, if you act like an adult. But your son in law had no right to act the way he did, and make the damage he made to our children! 😡 So, once again, all the respect to the hotel’s team, for the way they handled the situation! Thank you and keep up the good work! We would suggest for the future to make a special room / playground for the children☺️, in order to keep them occupied in a more defined space.😊 We definitely recommend Engels Park hotel!🙏🤗

14/03/2024: Grudge purchase as had car problems & needed an overnight stay Probably a nice place to stay in good weather and if you like leisure facilities Room was ok but had no outside windows other than velux roof and was a bit dated and tired Nice to have a welcome drink and breakfast was good but overall, for me poor value for money at €150, other places nearby offer a better price quality ratio

28/03/2024: We stopped for lunch on the way through Tuscany and were absolutely thrilled. The atmosphere is great and very cozy. The service was courteous and very friendly. The food was excellent. There is also a wine shop in the lower area. The view of Lake Kaltern and the surrounding area is fantastic! Highly recommended restaurant.
