25/06/2025: We had a wonderful evening at the inn. The staff was attentive, the food and wine were really good, the ambiance was fantastic, and the outdoor area was quite quiet despite being right on the street, with perfect music. Our only complaint is the cover charge. It's only common practice in Italy, and as we all know, South Tyroleans don't consider themselves Italians 😉

Particularly impressive: Only products from local producers are used, which you can taste in every bite. The dishes are creative, lovingly prepared, and reflect a great appreciation for regional ingredients. If you're looking for authentic enjoyment in a cozy atmosphere, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!

06/05/2025: We were guests at the Hotel Wildschütz in St. Leonhard and the Pixner family recommended this extraordinary restaurant to us for our second evening. From the welcome with an aperitif on the terrace, to the fantastic wine and the really excellent food with super friendly service, this was an evening as one could only wish for. The meat specialties are of top quality and the side dishes (asparagus) were perfectly prepared. The only danger is overeating because it's just so damn delicious, but we're happy to take that risk for the sake of this culinary delight. Anyone who eats here is doing everything right 🫶 thank you for this wonderful evening with you 😍

05/06/2025: We stayed for a week with a semi-integrated motorhome, 3 people, and 1 dog. Very well-maintained small campsite, very clean and high-quality restrooms, pool, and sauna. Great location on the Ritten plateau! Bus stops right outside, making the narrow-gauge railway to Oberbozen and the cable car to Bolzano easy to reach. All included free with the Ritten guest card! Very nice and friendly staff, excellent food. The pitches are long, but a bit tight for a semi-integrated motorhome with the awning extended. But it's manageable if you park correctly. We'll definitely be back!! Many thanks to the Schartner Alm team.

04/06/2025: On our way to Lake Garda, we spontaneously and by chance ended up at the Schartner Alm. We were so impressed that we booked another two nights for our return trip right before we left. The staff is super friendly, the view is amazing, and everything is spotlessly clean! We'd love to come back! Best wishes from the Baltic Sea!

29/06/2025: Beautiful place, it’s a shame we couldn’t try their food because we were 5 minutes late for lunch. The views are fantastic. Great selection of drinks and desserts. Service was excellent, waiters nice and friendly. The atmosphere is great, except for smokers :)

30/05/2025: It takes a while to get there but the place is in a really pleasant location where you can enjoy a breathtaking view. Very welcoming farmhouse, kind and informal service. Exceptional canederli, good goulash. Honest prices for those who know the value of good food. Worth the trip for a walk in the mountain air and then enjoy a dinner in a relaxing environment. Remember to bring a... teetotaler because then, when going down it is important to be clear-headed while driving...

21/06/2025: After the strenuous climb from the Kiener Alm, the Gitschhütte was just the right place for a well-deserved break. We enjoyed the stunning view with a cool drink – simply magnificent!

28/06/2025: A beautiful alpine pasture with a wonderfully quiet, family-friendly atmosphere. A bit off the beaten track, but that's exactly what makes it special. A very friendly and down-to-earth owner, delicious food, and reasonable prices – our favorite in the Roßkopf region.

28/04/2025: I recently went to the Ritterhof restaurant and as before it was a positive experience. Nice atmosphere, attentive service, excellent food and wine pairing, I appreciated the presentation of the dishes which was less satisfying than the mise en place. Good value for money, definitely recommended and going back again. Ps. It may be out of place, but congratulations on the cleanliness and furnishing of the toilets.

20/06/2025: When I saw the film about the Pretzhof 17 years ago, I wanted to dine there. Now it's finally happened. (The only downside was getting there: 3 different navigation systems = 3 different destinations.) A dreamy family farm in a sensational location – you immerse yourself in the world of the residents, and nothing here is artificial! Genuine joy in the guests, dedicated service, and a thoroughly honest, fine, and well-thought-out kitchen with perfectly coordinated dishes, where every bite conveys the joy of cooking and you wonder why they don't have any stars, forks, or toques yet – they certainly deserve it! Thank you for letting us be guests!

06/04/2025: A very beautiful, old hut with great food. Friendly staff. It has an outdoor playground and offers a great view from giant deck chairs.

30/05/2025: We stayed at this hotel for a few days. Everything was to our complete satisfaction; the food, rooms, and service were excellent. Gabi, the manager, and her staff were accommodating and friendly. This 700-year-old building has been furnished and maintained with so much love and taste; it's simply beautiful. We will definitely come back. Thank you again for the wonderful time.

26/05/2025: Very cozy hotel in the center of the old town. Beautiful view, comfortable rooms, wonderful breakfast, and genuine hospitality. This is my third time staying at this hotel and I'll be back again!
