02/10/2025: Unbelievable, totally worth the drive. Clearly the chef has been trained in places around the world. Food, presentation, tastes, flavors, all fantastic. Prices were VERY reasonable given what you are served. Near Michelin quality for “restaurant in your neighborhood” prices. Blown away!

18/08/2025: We've visited Restaurant Pirbamer several times and can only recommend it. Very creative and high-quality cuisine, reasonable portions, and a wide wine selection. The restaurant has been recently renovated and has a very pleasant ambiance. Thanks to Werner and Hannes!

07/12/2025: We've been coming to Amonti for a few years now...and it's always better! Fantastic location, excellent service, excellent food, even for those like me who are lactose intolerant! Special thanks to Paula and Gianni, the kind, courteous, and very professional bartender! The receptionists were also very friendly! The wellness area was superbly managed...the sauna session with Patrizia and Stefano was a wonderful experience! Well done everyone, we'll definitely be back!

07/12/2025: To celebrate our 30th anniversary, we returned to Amonti after ten years. We had a wonderful time, pampered from the first moment by the very kind receptionists, the friendly and competent head waiter Andrea, the energetic Meister Patrizia, and her colleagues—I can't remember the name of another Meister as elegant as a ballerina. The room was clean and spacious. The buffet food was truly excellent and had a wide selection, and the dinner menu was truly on par with a Michelin-starred restaurant. If I had to make one complaint, the relaxation rooms in the spa are limited. I can't imagine a full hotel and checking on people's cell phones. I witnessed more than one loud phone call under the "No Cell Phones" sign. We'll definitely be back.

21/09/2025: We happened to be driving past and wanted to stop for a bit. We were surprised by what we got. The Hugo (alcohol-free) was very refreshing and deliciously summery. I highly recommend the apple strudel and especially the chocolate-pear cake. Large pieces and very tasty! The service was attentive. We also got a small snack on the house with our order, which was also very nice.

10/09/2025: Our favorite refuge and a must-see after the outward journey to Corvara. Nestled in a lush green landscape, surrounded by goats, donkeys, and rabbits. The food is excellent, from the pasta dishes to the sandwiches, and the service is attentive and friendly. See you next year!

17/07/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance at lunchtime on our bike tour – a real stroke of luck! We sat in the pleasantly shady outdoor area, which was very clean and well-maintained. We were thrilled with the pizzas: wafer-thin, wonderfully crispy – just as real Italian pizza should be. The service was attentive and friendly, and the chef also made a very positive impression. All in all, a highly recommended place for a relaxing break with delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere.

19/09/2025: Traveling with celiac disease can be difficult so we decided to plan a trip around a hotel offering meals that cater to gluten free diets. We chose Hotel Villa Madonna in Alto Adige and were extremely happy with our week-long stay. It included gluten free half board meals (breakfast & supper, daily) and a free guest pass permitting free travel on all regional transportation in the area. The property was nice, the room comfortable and very clean, and the view spectacular. The supper offerings were varied and tasty, with a few surprises thrown in, to our delight, and safe - thank you to the chef and kitchen! Everyone on staff, at both the hotel and in the restaurant, was friendly and helpful - it felt like we were leaving a few friends behind by the time we left. Gabriele, Roman, and Lara at the front desk made sure we were looked after - and were ever patient with our mix of beginner Italian and English. Although many fantastic servers looked after us in the dining room, Facundo was our main server, always greeting us with a smile, making sure we were happy with every dish on the table, and sharing tips and experiences from his explorations of the region. We definitely recommend this lovely place.

17/10/2025: Enchanting refuge and hotel nestled in the tranquility of the Dolomite peaks. Far from noise and traffic. A central hub for excursions to other refuges. Ample parking reserved for guests. Wonderful menu featuring local specialties and a wide selection of wines and beers. Comfortable and cozy rooms with panoramic views. Outdoor veranda seating, plenty of entertainment for small children.

12/10/2025: We arrived at this refuge expecting to eat! It was actually 2:30 PM. We're used to refuge service lasting until at least 4 PM. We paid for parking, which was completely for nothing, considering that the kitchen not only closed at 2 PM but was also being used for a wedding reception that was taking place shortly thereafter. It was truly disappointing, having heard good things about it, but we definitely don't recommend it, and not only will we not be returning.

12/11/2025: Pizzeria/restaurant with traditional cuisine, really fast service, and a very comprehensive menu. Both the pizzas and the restaurant menu are good, and the prices are very fair! The only advice I can give...remove the oregano from 90% of the pizzas! 😅

19/10/2025: A truly relaxing getaway. Very comfortable and modernly furnished rooms with beautiful mountain views. The fresh scent of pine wood fills the air. Excellent food selection and very attentive service, plus a wide range of saunas and baths. Excellent and free public transport connections for the region. Hiking trails start right behind the hotel.

30/11/2025: A friendly, simple place with exquisite food. Here you can eat authentic Tyrolean goulash. Impeccable service. One of the few remaining authentic places in Merano.

28/11/2025: The food was excellent and plentiful, and they welcomed our dog with a smile, even giving her a bowl of water. If I had to comment, I think €6 for a bottle of local water seems a bit steep.
