03/10/2025: A lovely alpine hut to stop for a break after a hike. A large selection of food and drinks, but nothing exceptional. The price/performance ratio is decent. It's a shame when local guests (or the owner?) park their pickup trucks right in front of the terrace, blocking the view, even though there's plenty of parking space about 30 meters away.

20/09/2025: An excellent setting for combining the Latemar mountain range with South Tyrolean cuisine. Not to be missed.

22/09/2025: Recently voted South Tyrol's most popular alpine hut for 2025. It can be reached either via the cable car in Reinswald and a short hike, or entirely on foot via one of the excellent and well-marked hiking trails. The Urlesteig trail is highly recommended; it takes about two hours. The hut itself is idyllic, the service is friendly and welcoming, and the food is exceptionally delicious.

10/09/2025: Stopped at this rustic alpine inn on the way down from Merano 2000. Super friendly service --> got a glimpse into apple strudel production :-) - and surrounded by beautiful scenery.

31/08/2025: Today I drank some really delicious fresh milk from the alpine pasture and ate a delicious Kaiserschmarrn pancake. A truly generous portion.

19/10/2025: We ate in the restaurant. The food was very good and the value was excellent. A lovely atmosphere and knowledgeable and very friendly staff.

18/10/2025: As soon as you open the solid wooden door, you're greeted by an atmosphere of peace and security. The delicate fragrance and the stylish architecture with natural materials immediately create a special ambiance. Breakfast was a real highlight, even for me, a breakfast hater – freshly squeezed juices with clove or dead nettle essence, homemade jam, regional, lovingly prepared, and simply delicious. A place to unwind and enjoy. We'd love to come back!

18/08/2025: Arriving at this mountain hut after a pleasant climb and finding superb dishes in generous portions made our day even more special. If the cuisine was unsurpassed, the staff, young and truly kind and helpful, made us feel even better. I never leave reviews for mountain huts because I know the quality is always medium to high, but lunch here was a true pleasure, a superb experience both culinary and human.

07/10/2025: A truly fantastic restaurant with a unique atmosphere! The location is modern, stylish, and tastefully decorated—you immediately feel at home. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, just as you would expect. We were there yesterday and had really good burgers—perfectly prepared, juicy, and made with great ingredients. They served it with a Lugana wine, which went wonderfully with it. We finished off with a mille-feuille—a heavenly dessert and the perfect end to a wonderful evening. An all-around successful visit—great ambiance, excellent service, and outstanding food. We'd definitely love to come back! 🍷🍔✨

13/10/2025: Super delicious and relatively large portions. Prepared and served with love. The bruschetta is great for sharing, as it's quite large. Sitting down is a bit small, but the food is nice. We'd be back!

30/09/2025: Absolutely amazing. Like, I was not prepared for what a gem this place was. Loved all the sauna options and the hours for them were great. The room was immaculately clean. Breakfast was delicious and had everything one could want. And there was so much staff around all the time, cleaning, prepping, greeting. I have never experienced that. I wish I had more time to stay here, but will hopefully be back for nordic ski season!

12/10/2025: The education is absolutely nonexistent! VEGGIE MEANS NO MEAT, NO FISH, NO ANYTHING OF ANIMAL ORIGIN. There may be people with serious allergies or intolerances. WARNING!!! I will definitely not go there again. Not recommended.

24/10/2025: Since we discovered the restaurant on the Algund Waalweg path a few years ago, we've been visiting it every time we vacation in the Merano area. This time we "had to" eat in the dining room because it's already too cold on the terrace in October evenings. It's also very cozy inside, but understandably even cozier outside. The food is very good, and the desserts are always a highlight for us. Very friendly staff. We're looking forward to next year!

19/09/2025: I've been to Maso Paratoni with my partner for the second time. A magical place with a unique atmosphere. Family-run and locally sourced. The farm is run by a family: mom in the kitchen, dad as the maître d', and their sons as waiters (special mention to Arona, brilliant!). The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is spectacular. The grey cheese and the leek dumplings are wonderful, and my boyfriend especially enjoyed the mousse and the sweet and savory fritters. If you want to experience authentic cuisine and be pampered, this is the place! (Set menu and very extensive local wine list). Highly recommended!
