29/04/2026: What a great place, folks! This is a typical Bavarian restaurant, with truly well-prepared dishes and a huge Wiener, perfectly breaded. The beers on tap are very good. Very friendly staff, and the outdoor seating area on the pedestrian street is well-designed. Prices are still below average for a place right in the city center. Highly recommended, it's worth it, especially for those who love Austro-German cuisine.

18/03/2026: Chalet restaurant in a superb location at the foot of the Sassongher mountain on the Colfosco estate. It boasts a beautiful, large, and perfectly oriented terrace offering a splendid 300-degree view. The food is excellent and delicious.

05/05/2026: Particularly good pizza and friendly, efficient service. They recently reopened, and the 4.3 score seems on the low side now. To our surprise, they also had an Indian menu, so we hesitated for a moment. Since it was our first day in Italy, we ended up having a pizza.

26/02/2026: Nice restaurant in San Candido city center, the food and the service were good for an overall fair price, but the nicest part is the atmosphere: you can’t really tell from outside but the dining hall is quite fancy. Overall, i recommend it

09/02/2026: A very nice place, both outside and especially inside, converted from an old theater. The service was impeccable. We ate well, both the pizza and local dishes (canederli and spinach spaetzle). The only downside: paying €9 for two 0.75-liter bottles of tap water (as is customary in local restaurants) is something I just can't stomach.... Otherwise, the prices are average for the place.

23/05/2026: We went there spontaneously without a reservation. Even though it was very busy, they did everything they could to find us a table – truly very friendly and attentive! We ordered two pizzas. The wide selection alone was impressive, and the pizzas themselves were incredibly delicious. Service: excellent! Atmosphere: excellent! Food: excellent! Price: excellent! Highly recommended!

02/06/2026: Fantastic view, very convenient having games for children, but unfortunately, the food and service were lacking. We waited over an hour to receive our order (with 4 hungry children at the table...) without even being brought bread or anything else in the meantime, and despite having made a reservation... One dish arrived at a time, 20 minutes apart... Generous portions, but the instant polenta (which we waited an hour and a half for...) was completely raw, grilled vegetables, and the sausage was also raw (different from the one we'd seen on the table of the customers before us...). They're not organized for the number of people they accept! My advice is to grab a sandwich from home and stop by for a coffee in the afternoon when it empties out.

04/12/2025: When we travel the Brenner Pass, we pass through it whenever possible. Just minutes from the Bressanone exit. Rustic beauty, both inside and out. Everything we've tried ranges from very good to excellent. A must-try, when available, is the chestnut soup: it's a magical potion that transports you back in time (in fact, it's much richer and tastier today than it was 190 years ago). My only regret: I've never found mushrooms.

02/12/2025: An absolutely positive experience. We started with a platter: the menu says it's for one person, but it was really generous, so two of us ate easily. Then I finally got to try the famous dumplings with sauerkraut (I highly recommend the spinach ones). I finished with soup, but given the amount of food on the platter, I could have done without it. Very friendly staff. Recommendation

A very special Thanks to the owner, Mark, a first-class guy! Incredibly friendly, attentive, and someone who knows exactly how to make guests feel comfortable. Such warmth is rare these days. The rooms are modern, very clean, and furnished with great attention to detail. The culinary experience is also a real highlight: The cuisine is outstanding! Classic, hearty fare, just as you would expect from South Tyrol—honest, high-quality, and simply delicious. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone. If you value hospitality, quality, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place for you. I will definitely be back, not only because of the excellent value for money but also because it's so authentic.
