The restaurant specializes in dumplings, and they're really good at them. All the variations tasted fantastic, even the quark dumpling for dessert.

We had wonderful dumplings today! Very friendly service and highly recommended! They had spinach and cheese dumplings, as well as liver and bacon dumplings. It was a real treat.

We visited this bistro based on the many positive reviews – and we can only say: the enthusiasm is absolutely justified! The dumplings we ordered were a dream: wonderfully prepared, bursting with flavor, and simply delicious. We almost tried to coax the secret recipe out of them – but the friendly server remained steadfast and didn't reveal it completely 😉. We were particularly surprised that the bistro was significantly less crowded than the neighboring restaurant. Perhaps many people are dazzled by the large crowds and overlook where the true quality lies. Everything here is just right! The food was outstanding, the service warm, attentive, and second to none. You feel welcome from the very first moment. In short: 5 stars aren't enough. We'd love to give a few extra for the food, service, and atmosphere! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The most delicious strudel I have ever eaten — fresh, homemade, and absolutely unforgettable. The americano was amazing as well, both the taste and the presentation. The waiter was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. We truly enjoyed every moment and honestly can’t wait to come back to this place again.

The four different dumplings were incredibly light and delicious. The sauerkraut was perfectly seasoned. The recommended wine paired very well, and the service was attentive and friendly. The location in an alley in the old town is excellent. The only downsides are that the chairs are a bit wobbly and the tables a little too small.

Great improvement. _____ A wonderful place: The two brothers offer incredibly warm hospitality. Great ambiance and very, very good food with a fantastic variety of flavors. The chef also has excellent, Michelin-starred cooking stations, so he knows what he's doing. The dishes are also a feast for the eyes. Our small special requests (vegetarian menu, a little extra sauce) were handled perfectly. We'll be back. A truly harmonious experience. In South Tyrol, one of the best restaurants for fine dining in a modern setting.

10/06/2026: You can't help but feel comfortable at Hotel Zum Falken. Located in the tranquil village of Girlan, this hotel is staffed by exceptionally friendly and welcoming people, making you want to return again and again.
09/06/2026: First-class inn, beautiful beer garden, large parking lot. Extensive menu of food, desserts, and drinks; the typical South Tyrolean dishes are particularly noteworthy and absolutely delicious. Excellent value for money! The service and friendliness of the staff deserve a 1-star rating! Highly recommended!
