We ordered two pizzas. The wide selection alone was impressive, and the pizzas themselves were incredibly delicious. Service: excellent! Atmosphere: excellent! Food: excellent! Price: excellent! Highly recommended!

04/12/2025: When we travel the Brenner Pass, we pass through it whenever possible. Just minutes from the Bressanone exit. Rustic beauty, both inside and out. Everything we've tried ranges from very good to excellent. A must-try, when available, is the chestnut soup: it's a magical potion that transports you back in time (in fact, it's much richer and tastier today than it was 190 years ago). My only regret: I've never found mushrooms.

02/12/2025: An absolutely positive experience. We started with a platter: the menu says it's for one person, but it was really generous, so two of us ate easily. Then I finally got to try the famous dumplings with sauerkraut (I highly recommend the spinach ones). I finished with soup, but given the amount of food on the platter, I could have done without it. Very friendly staff. Recommendation

A very special Thanks to the owner, Mark, a first-class guy! Incredibly friendly, attentive, and someone who knows exactly how to make guests feel comfortable. Such warmth is rare these days. The rooms are modern, very clean, and furnished with great attention to detail. The culinary experience is also a real highlight: The cuisine is outstanding! Classic, hearty fare, just as you would expect from South Tyrol—honest, high-quality, and simply delicious. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone. If you value hospitality, quality, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place for you. I will definitely be back, not only because of the excellent value for money but also because it's so authentic.

27/03/2026: we were STRUGGLING so hard to find this place on the slopes while doing the seloranda our first day on the mountain lol, but so glad we found it. The Best pasta with the best views. Vibes are unforgettable, Twas was a movie.

13/04/2026: Stay from April 9th ​​to 12th, 2026 We stayed at the AMONTI & LUNARIS Wellness Resort for a few days and had mixed experiences. Positive: All the staff we encountered were consistently friendly and helpful. We were always greeted – whether at reception, in the restaurant, at the spa, or even by chance in the hallway. This was a really pleasant surprise. The view from the terrace is beautiful and definitely a highlight. The spa area was also always clean and well-maintained. My massage was very pleasant and professional, and again, the staff was very friendly. Another plus: We arrived very early (around 7:30 am) and were able to use the swimming area immediately. Bathrobes and towels were provided right away, and our room was even ready before 3 pm. Our luggage was also brought to our room, which was really great. Negative: Unfortunately, there are a few things that simply don't fit the bill for a 5-star hotel: • Some soap dispensers and hand sanitizer were empty. • The downstairs restrooms weren't always clean, and there were no towels for drying hands (even if it was early morning, that should still be the case). • The breakfast selection was rather limited: only three types of sausage and no poultry options. (Except on the last day, when there was turkey salami.) • By 10:00 AM, there were no more boiled eggs, even though breakfast is served until 10:30 AM. • The apple strudel was completely missing the vanilla sauce; it simply hadn't been prepared. • At lunchtime, pasta was very often the hot dish. Okay for children, but rather monotonous for adults. • In the evenings, the portions of soup and main course were very small. It was fortunate that there was an appetizer buffet, otherwise, one would hardly have been satisfied. • The presentation of the food seemed rather basic and not up to the standard one would expect from a 5-star hotel. ``` Furthermore, we were there just before closing time (the hotel closed for renovations afterward). Perhaps that's why things were a bit "down-tuned," but it's still a shame for guests. Also somewhat puzzling: Live music was advertised on the display for Saturday, but it didn't happen – with the explanation that the hotel was closing the next day. One wonders why it was advertised at all. There were also several areas in the pool area that need renovation, which is apparently planned. In conclusion: Overall, we would say the hotel is a solid 4-star establishment, but it doesn't meet 5-star standards in our opinion. This is noticeable in many small details. Perhaps this is also reflected in the price, but we still wouldn't book this hotel again.

13/12/2025: By pure chance, I ended up here for dinner, located very close to the Gardens of Trautmansdorff Castle, just one bus stop away. From the moment I walked in until the very friendly goodbye, it was a wonderful treat for all the senses! The pizzas, which I tried twice, are outstanding, incredibly delicious, very large, and you can even get them with whole wheat dough – absolutely delicious! 😋👍👍👍👍👍 On top of that, the service was very friendly, courteous, and attentive; you feel incredibly welcome as a guest! Thank you so much for two wonderful dinners in a lovely, pleasant atmosphere! See you next year!

01/02/2026: We dined at this restaurant one evening during our ski holiday. Even when I made my reservation over the phone, I was struck by the courtesy and gratitude of the person on the other end. The dinner was spectacular. High-quality ingredients. If you truly want to eat typical Val Gardena cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. The gnocchi were spectacular, as were the pappardelle with venison ragù, which was also top-notch. But for us, the venison medallions with polenta and sauerkraut were the standout! The portions were definitely more than adequate, even a little generous (but don't change them!!). I absolutely have to give a huge shout-out to Mr. Pietro, who served us impeccably and was incredibly kind and also very, very friendly. We will return to this restaurant every time we return to Selva di Val Gardena. We hope to see you in the summer! Hugs from Rome! ❤️

14/05/2026: The welcome was incredibly friendly, even warm. We had made a reservation. We were quickly shown to our table and shortly afterward were able to order our drinks. After perusing the menus, we opted for Kaspressknödel (cheese dumplings) and Herrengröstl (a traditional potato and meat dish). Everything was delicious. However, we did notice that the dumplings could have benefited from a little more sauce. For dessert, we had Strauben and "Hot Love" (a type of fried pastry). Strauben is a deep-fried pastry. Absolutely delicious, definitely worth trying! All in all, a very nice restaurant with excellent service and incredibly tasty food. Thank you so much, and we'd be happy to recommend you.

07/03/2026: First of all: make a reservation – seats on the terrace and in the front, semi-open area are very popular and subject to reservation. The Nußbaumer thrives on its location, the charming staff, and the fresh cuisine. The menu isn't extensive, but everything is highly recommended! Let Moritz guide you through the wine selection – he can tell you a lot about the local wineries because he knows them personally. Also, head to the heart of the Nußbaumer – the wine shelves have much more than what's on the menu. Treat yourself to more than just a pizza and a glass of house wine. It's worth it!

17/05/2026: Greetings! A visit to Restaurant Figl always feels like coming home, or at least it feels that way. You're always greeted with a smile, the food is delicious, and there's plenty of local wine available – often already in my glass just thinking about it. It's worth it year after year. 16/05/2026: We ate here two evenings in a row and weren't disappointed! The pinsa was absolutely delicious, including the vegetarian option! Both the ribs and the smoked salmon, served with roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables, were top-notch. The wine selection was excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. To top it all off, we were given a complimentary shot of schnapps. We'll be back!
