17/10/2025: The portions are frighteningly small! Especially the soups. We mentioned it, but they didn't even flinch, so they immediately got up and left, given the waitresses' indifferent reaction. The prices are reasonable for filling portions, but here you'll still leave hungry.

30/09/2025: We had a wonderful meal here! Both the starter and main course were delicious and the portions were good/large. We didn't have room for dessert! There were also plenty of vegetarian options, which isn't available everywhere in the area. I was really craving the dumplings and could choose spinach or beetroot instead of bacon. Great service!

30/08/2025: The property didn't make us miss hotel holidays like we had previously. It's located in the center of San Giovanni, which in turn is perfectly located in the Aurina Valley. It's a small town well-served with supermarkets, pizzerias, and pastry shops, without the crowds found in nearby Campo Tures. The property is located directly across from the church and the tourist office. It's 20 steps from the bus stop for Casere and 100 steps from the bus stop for Brunico, passing through Campo Tures, which can be reached in about 10 minutes and offers plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars for those seeking a little more action. The apartment, My Happiness, ours, is well-maintained, clean, and well-equipped. It features a living area with a large kitchen, a bedroom, and a small bedroom. All three rooms have a TV. The furnishings and floors are wooden. The bathroom is very large and comfortable, with a very large walk-in shower. Viktor and Daniela were very hospitable and eager to accommodate our needs, both in terms of advice and support. The spa is small and welcoming and can be used by reservation to save energy, as it's rarely in demand. I used it alone on a few days. The hot tub wasn't available because it was empty, but they probably would have filled it if I'd asked. The laundry room was excellent and convenient for a few euros. Besides appreciating the facility and hospitality, we loved the location, as it was just a few minutes by bus or on foot from where we could explore the valley all the way to Brunico. Several hiking trails also start from the property. I highly recommend this property, as it hasn't made me miss the 4-star hotels I've stayed in so far.

24/09/2025: We stayed at the Steinerhof for four nights with our dog, Apollo. It was so wonderful with you, we felt truly at home. The delicious breakfast, prepared with so much love and warmth, was truly amazing. Then the incredibly delicious and plentiful dinner was truly 5-star quality! Kathy cooks so wonderfully! It was an all-around wonderful vacation with you. We parked our car on Sunday and started the day from there. We went on beautiful hikes in fantastic weather ☀️🤗 Thank you so much for everything Kathrin, Marko, and Apollo 🐾😘

16/09/2025: We were privileged to spend two wonderful weeks at the Steinerhof farm at the beginning of August. We couldn't have asked for a better time. Thank you so much for the warmth and the fun conversations over a glass of schnapps in the evenings. We stayed in the old farmer's suite. The charm of the 400-year-old wood was immediately captivating, so it wasn't a problem to duck your head in the doorway. Unfortunately, it was quite noisy. But that's what old houses bring. The food in the farm tavern is also highly recommended. You shouldn't miss the homemade syrups or schnapps. A big thank you goes to Dora, who looked after us so well during our riding in the arena and on our trail rides. The trail rides in particular are pure adventure; the horses are absolutely relaxed (when I think of ours ;-) ) and sure-footed. It's also great to be able to go into the stables and cuddle at any time. In Pfelders, you can simply leave the car behind and relax. Waking up in the morning with such a panorama just makes you feel good. The village festival on the Feast of the Assumption was a lovely way to end the day. Thanks for the wonderful time. 28/09/2025: An excellent experience (with a star rating): a beautiful venue, excellent food in terms of preparation, balance, and presentation, and above all, trust Iulia (maître d' and sommelier), who is 25 years old and—in terms of skill, experience, and manner—seems twice as old: when she suggests a wine pairing, let her do the rest. Amazing.

10/09/2025: What an unforgettable experience! It's tough to say which dish was my favorite, but every detail of the meal was absolutely perfect. I was on a solo travel trip, and the staff here made me feel as if I were a regular. The sommelier, Vittorio Sofia, developed a fantastic wine pairing to go along with each of my dishes. He also spent time speaking with me about the wines and why they worked with each of the dishes. For the meal, Chef Filippo Sinisgalli truly uses the flavors of the region to create a meal unlike anything else. Each course brought a new and different flavor that left me excited for the next course. I will say, the saffron risotto with calf sweetbreads is something I will be dreaming about for years to come. I cannot wait to come back soon, what a wonderful experience!

01/10/2025: We were looking for a nice place for lunch and we were definitely not disappointed. Very welcoming staff delivering a great service. The food was really good. I took the polenta which was delicious, but it is quite big.

01/09/2025: The food is excellent, and each dish has its own story, told on the menu. The women who run the place are friendly and welcoming, and they also offer plenty of advice on what to order and how to pair the sauces. The place is decorated to make it feel like a mix of an aesthetic café and an authentic Colombian bar. Simply perfect. ❤️ We'll be back very often.

09/10/2025: I came for lunch. The dish (goulash) was good and well presented, but I wasn't satisfied. The plate wasn't large. Not enough meat. A tablespoon of red cabbage, as a side dish for vegetables, isn't enough either. It was more of a child's portion than an adult's. €24 is still expensive for this amount. Plus €4 for the bread. On the plus side, I admit that the setting is very pretty and the service efficient.

09/10/2025: It's arguably the most famous alpine pasture in this valley 👍 Of course, there's a small extra charge for the name 😏 Beautiful "complex" with many great details. It's definitely worth a look, but we prefer stopping at the Dusler Alm 😏

13/06/2025: Papero's pizza is excellent, the arancini are amazing, the gnocchi and lasagna are delicious. I still have to try the parmigiana and the panzerotti, but the premises are mouth-watering... too bad I didn't meet you before... good guys! Forza Cosenza!

28/04/2025: Recommended by friends from Bolzano, excellent pizzas, it is a cross between a take-away pizzeria but it is also possible to eat on site. Quick in service.

19/10/2025: We had a Törggelen experience here. Simply fantastic! Fantastic service and first-class food. They even offered seconds. Törggelen at its finest. The journey to the Ratschings valley station is great – after that, the road becomes single-lane, but still easily passable. We'd love to come back!!!

14/09/2025: Located on the edge of Torre di Palme. You can either enjoy the beer garden atmosphere under the large trees or sit in front of the entrance on the side of the road with a view of the sea. Good pizzas and wine, and friendly service.
