11/07/2025: We got a seat quickly, but then were ignored for over 30 minutes. The drinks and food were very good. A little tip: Don't sit in the quiet booth where no one can see you.

05/08/2025: We're from Vienna and were passing through – and how lucky to have discovered this lively restaurant near the Messner Mountain Museum! The service was not only incredibly friendly, authentic, and hospitable, but also wonderfully humorous – you immediately feel welcome. The food: simply outstanding! If we ever return to Bolzano, we'll definitely eat here again. A place to remember!

16/05/2025: The food is very delicious. We ordered macaroni and cheese, a very, very delicious steak, and potatoes. The place is very ordinary, but the food is amazing.

20/06/2025: We were returning from Tuscany and, unfortunately, only stayed there for one day. It's rare to find such a nice host family. The interaction was so friendly and warm that we will definitely be back, as guests of one of the two vacation apartments. The homemade cakes and tarts in the adjoining café are amazing, and Rudi Schönweger's homemade ice cream is heavenly. Maria Schönweger spoiled us with a wonderful breakfast and won our hearts after just one day. We were thrilled and will be back, especially since the place has a magical charm and much to offer nature lovers. And on hot days, the outdoor pool is within walking distance.

07/08/2025: It was great to enjoy a beer while gazing at the Pizboe Mountains. Located right in front of the upper cable car station, there was a long wait during lunch hours! The Ortisei beef tartare paired well with a draft beer and a glass of wine. Amazing view, delicious food, and refreshing drinks! Highly recommended.

05/08/2025: We ate at this cabin, and everything was very good. The prices are a little high, and the only downside is that the waiter didn't bring us a receipt... I mean, the receipt was verbal... maybe that's not what they use there.

03/08/2025: The old Edelweiss Hut was completely replaced this year by a new building, making the previous reviews obsolete. The modernist new building, a combination of wood and glass and a rooftop viewing platform, is largely successful, and the cakes and latte macchiatos are still delicious. The new voucher system for using the restrooms is clearly in need of improvement: if you consume something and then want to use the restroom (€1.00), the voucher is of little use, and the limitation of voucher usage to one voucher per person/product is completely incomprehensible. If you need to use the restroom multiple times—which is certainly possible—you can only redeem one voucher per product—but hey, that's completely unacceptable (> hidden price increase) and has led to a price reduction.

21/07/2025: Not much to say about the ‚atmosphere‘ in the rating, it doesn’t get any better than this. A very friendly waitress served us cake, and camomile tea. The restaurant at the summit.

09/07/2025: Pros : Great views, Friendly service despite some language barriers Cons : No menu and limited lunch selection - which contrary to the name of the restaurant, does not in fact include pizza on many days of the week. Pizza is served for lunch from th-sun.

06/07/2025: La Stua is always a good idea :-))) !!! Service with young generation of new waiters became even better and faster (especially thanks to Silivia, è molto brava e bellissima! Grilled tuna is perfect as well as pasta is just great. Green salads we took were very good. We were tired of meat, meat, meat everyday here in Selva and we wanted to eat smth different. I will come again!

21/05/2025: Place in the center, nothing exceptional as a bar. The waiter who takes the orders is a disaster. We ask if we can sit down and they say yes. After a while other people arrive and are served but we are not taken into consideration even when we make a sign that we are waiting. After the third couple served arrived after us we leave. We probably do not speak German and it is a shortcoming. They are lucky to be in the center because with that way of doing things they would deserve to close

22/07/2025: The atmosphere was lovely, all stone and wood. The food was good, but they only had pizza. The service was friendly but rather slow.

15/07/2025: Vi var 5 som gikk opp bakkene til Ritterkeller, og alle ble godt fornøyd med besøket. Hyggelig og dyktig kellner og gode pizzaer. Dessertene var også suksess. Anbefales!
