17/12/2025: The restaurant was tidy and well-maintained. The food was good and everything was in order. The only downside was the service, which was adequate but a bit cold: it lacked a smile, which would have made the experience perfect.

13/04/2026: The property is as stunning as the valley itself. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to answer any questions. The cuisine, bar service, and overall dining experience are excellent. The spa is a gem, with an Adults Only area for total relaxation. The bus stop and chairlift are literally right in front of the hotel. An absolute must-try experience.

13/04/2026: An exceptionally beautiful hotel. Now with modernized rooms, it's very comfortable and boasts high-quality furnishings. The service staff is very courteous and friendly.

30/12/2025: These pizzas are distinctly different from the French variety; you can't "develop" them. They're inherently crispier and completely fluffy. They're filled individually on-site. The dough is fermented for 48 hours. The quality and taste (including the fillings) are simply outstanding. This dream costs €2 each. There's no seating here; it's an Istrian standing-room-only café with vending machine coffee, but the latter doesn't matter because the real star is the counter. Friendly service. Highly recommended.

02/04/2026: A very successful reconstruction of the original building. New wellness area with an outdoor saltwater pool. The five-course menu was excellent, as always. We feel like regular guests – this is our fifth stay since 2017.

16/11/2025: The hospitality, welcoming atmosphere, and nature experience that the Kuen family and their entire team create is truly unparalleled. Perfectly equipped rooms with an absolutely comfortable ambiance. Two!! juicers (orange and fruit/vegetable), homemade spreads, fresh strawberries from the Martell Valley, and fantastic crepes for breakfast. Great hiking tips from the owner herself. A soothing hot stone massage from Elisabeth (thank you so much!). Wonderful companions at dinner (thank you for the excellent wine recommendations!). What could be better?! Oh, and yoga with Barbara at 8 a.m. The best way to start the day! I absolutely have to mention that! A big thank you to the kitchen staff as well! Wow! We were in heaven! And a big thank you to all the other members of the team who made our vacation so relaxing and perfect! And Sebastian – thank you for being so accommodating with the rebooking! We would never have been here without you! You are all truly amazing!

19/12/2025: A charming little restaurant that almost exclusively serves pizzas. They're very good and reasonably priced! Friendly service. I had a great experience at this pizzeria and would definitely recommend it!

09/12/2025: Whenever we come to the area, dinner is a must. In the splendid jewel that is Egna, this small but welcoming place is the icing on the cake. The pizzas are excellent, and the owners are courteous and friendly. Not to be missed.

07/10/2025: We stopped here on our bike tour. The food was delicious and lovingly prepared. They served great homemade herbal lemonades. We sat there for a long time; the atmosphere was very pleasant and the owners were very friendly.

07/10/2025: It's fantastic up there. Also for the season finale in October! Ideal for families, people with disabilities, singles, and groups. Fantastic food, delicious home-cooked meals! The view to Planeil/Planoil and down the valley towards Watles.

14/04/2026: I can't comment on the rooms because I only ate in the restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient. Typical Tyrolean food, prepared with locally sourced, home-grown produce. Superb speck and delicious strudel. A welcoming atmosphere with a fabulous view. The company of donkeys and rabbits complemented a post-pastime meal on the hotel terrace, enjoying the April sun.

12/10/2025: The hotel rooms are beautiful, traditional, warm, and comfortable. The view is spectacular, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. We ate well throughout our stay. The dishes are typical of the area, and the cured meats are exceptional! The location is ideal, as the ski slopes and equipment rental are just a few minutes' walk away. There's also the option of using a room inside the hotel for equipment storage (skis, snowboards, helmets, etc.).

25/08/2025: Hotel: very central, free indoor parking, and spacious rooms. Staff: everyone is friendly and helpful, both the owners and the staff, but what struck us most was Claudia's helpfulness, kindness, precision, and smile!! Congratulations! The owners, Stefano and Romana, are truly welcoming and always ready to accommodate all their guests' needs. The chef is one of a kind! The food is excellent, imaginative, and delicate. The dishes are always served with kindness and attention by Claudia (the best), Lolita, Larisa, Bledi, and Lucia. If I were to return to Selva, I would have no doubts about my choice: Hotel Armin!

17/07/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance at lunchtime on our bike tour – a real stroke of luck! We sat in the pleasantly shady outdoor area, which was very clean and well-maintained. We were thrilled with the pizzas: wafer-thin, wonderfully crispy – just as real Italian pizza should be. The service was attentive and friendly, and the chef also made a very positive impression. All in all, a highly recommended place for a relaxing break with delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere.

The small but exquisite menu prioritizes quality over quantity and leaves nothing to be desired. Every dish is thoughtfully designed and perfectly balanced. The fantastic wine selection deserves special mention. In addition to carefully chosen wines, the house wine is particularly impressive, tasting superb and pairing beautifully with the dishes. Attentive and friendly service completes the experience. A restaurant we wholeheartedly recommend – we will definitely be back!
