28/07/2025: We spent 9 perfect days in a property that was excellent in every way: the owners and staff were friendly, the rooms were large and spotlessly clean, the meals were excellent...you couldn't ask for anything better! Thanks to Veronica and Petra. We'll definitely see you next year!

24/04/2025: Very familiar, beautiful view No matter where I have traveled, nowhere has it been as beautiful as here. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during our time, I've only heard good things about their food but I'll definitely be back here if I go to South Tyrol. Very cute, great animals. The perfect place to switch off. And if something happened or we had questions, someone was there to help straight away

17/07/2025: Fantastic food. What a wonderful owner and chef who cooks from the heart. You can taste and hear his passion. We were amazed and will be talking about it for a long time. Truly delicious food and drinks.

11/07/2025: What a surprise: I hadn't heard of La Scarpetta, but four of us decided to try it for lunch. The menu is Roman-style, so we ordered a gricia, a carbonara, a cacio e pepe, and a spaghettone al pesto. The portions were just right, the ingredients were top-notch (guanciale for the gricia and carbonara), the pasta was perfectly cooked, and the presentation was in keeping with the menu and location. Being close to Bolzano Airport doesn't bother us at all. The owner, Andrea, is a chef and mainly takes care of the first courses, as does his partner, Adriana, who takes care of the second courses. Both are also dedicated to service. They are two enthusiastic and hard-working young people who also try to offer themed evenings, such as Sardinian cuisine or a seafood evening featuring a 1 kg lobster per person. The prices are more than fair, like Andrea and Adriana. I almost forgot: a dessert of chocolate mousse with chili pepper and two affogato to round out the lunch. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

10/07/2025: Incredibly nice people! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was truly wonderful! Thanks also for the tips on accommodations in the area! They're also well-equipped for babies and toddlers (changing table and high chairs)! 6 stars is just not possible, unfortunately!

31/07/2025: We spent a week in July at this very nice family-run hotel. Very good food, nice and clean rooms, lovely breakfast and dinner. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would love to come back! Hilde and Helge Ryen, Hamar, Norway.

22/07/2025: Very nice hotel. The location is well-suited for local tours, but otherwise the valley is quite remote. For our mountain bike tour, the climb through the local gorge, which is truly beautiful to look at, was rather frustrating after a hard day climbing the Eisjöchl in the relatively late evening. But the hotel is still ideal for sporty tours and relaxation. The wellness area, which was unfortunately closed in the evening, also looked great. Dinner was only served until 8:30 p.m., and there were few alternatives besides the hotel's own restaurant. Overall, everything worked out well for us.

16/03/2025: Avendo sentito da tanti conoscenti parlare del posto, abbiamo prenotato per la colazione. Il locale è carino, anche se la domenica dopo la messa c’è parecchio rumore al bar, e nella sala si sente tutto. Il buffet è limitato, poca scelta di pane e dolci, come pure dei formaggi. Per €29,00 ci si aspetta di più. Non tornerei. Molto gentile e attenta la signora in sala.

10/02/2025: My partner and I spent a wonderful long weekend. Past excellent ratings have proven true. Clean and spacious apartment. Excellent products in the hotel bar/shop and present at breakfast time. But the thing that really leaves its mark is the kindness of the staff, available to give advice and to help the customer, if possible. Thank you very much and if possible see you soon.

03/07/2025: A very negative experience. We wanted to have lunch at 12:00 PM today at the 3-star Hotel Goldener Adler in Graun. There were about 20 other workers with us, who sat down and immediately received the Pranzo di Lavoro, the daily special, including bread and water. We were apparently viewed as simple-minded German tourists and brought the regular menu. I dared to ask about the lunch special. We've been cycling in South Tyrol and Trentino for two weeks now, and we've had very good and inexpensive lunches every weekday, using the daily specials. The male waitress couldn't tell me what was for lunch. I told him, "You must know what you're serving?" I got the response, "I don't know if I'm allowed to give you the daily special." Am I being ripped off? It's outrageous discrimination and an unparalleled affront if, as a tourist, I'm not served a delicious daily special like all the other lunch guests, but only expensive food from the menu. But not with us. We won't allow ourselves to be treated like second-class guests just because we're German. We got up and left. I even complained to the manager that we'd never experienced such treatment in our 50 years in South Tyrol. She blushed and quickly assured us that we'd also get the lunch special. NO THANKS Since the food isn't served with warmth here, our appetites have completely vanished. Never again!

29/06/2025: A direct hit! The Innerperskoler Hof is one of the best and most beautiful wine taverns I've ever visited. No, it's the best and most beautiful. Everything is just perfect here: the super friendly and attentive young lady serving, the breathtaking view, the ambiance – characterized by the homemade rustic wooden furniture, a great sense of hospitality, friendliness, and local connection – and, of course, the excellent food and sparkling drinks. Absolutely perfect and authentic! My wife enjoyed the homemade tagliatelle with herb pesto from the farm garden, while I was served a dumpling trio that is second to none. It came with a fresh salad and affogato for dessert. The meal was accompanied by an aperitif and the delicious house wine (Pinot Blanc); not to mention the homemade bread. Fabulous. Our dog, Ivy, was also very spoiled and was given a large pot of water without asking. We actually planned to stop at the Innerperskoler Hof again on Thursday evening to round off our vacation. Unfortunately, we overlooked the fact that Thursday is one of the hotel's days off. But if we ever come back to the Schlern area, a second visit is a must. Keep up the good work, and thank you very much.

10/08/2025: Mi esposa y yo vinimos para una cena de domingo para celebrar nuestro último día de vacaciones en la zona. Esta fue la comida más cara y sosa que tuvimos en la zona. Nuestro camarero Tom cometió un error y nos trajo una comida diferente de lo que pedimos. Traté de llamar su atención para avisarle pero pasaron varios minutos y IT volvió incómodo tener nuestra comida IT picante así que comencé a comerla de todos modos. Después de varios minutos más, llamé la atención de Felipe y le pregunté cuál era el plato. Me explicó en detalle, y luego le hice saber IT no es lo que pedimos. Para entonces nuestras bebidas y comidas estaban a medio consumir. Phillip preguntó si podía traer la comida correcta. Traté de no incomodar más a mi esposa diciendo IT estaba bien y lo mantendremos IT. La conversación sí la incomodó y no quería crear una escena así que simplemente dejamos IT. Pensé que el dueño ofrecería una bebida o un postre para compensar IT, pero Phillip no lo hizo. Cuando volvimos a nuestro hotel llamé a Phillip para hacerle saber personalmente que tuvimos una mala experiencia en su restaurante. Hablé con Tom el camarero y Phillip el dueño. Sí, los errores ocurren y NO hay nadie perfecto. Escribo esta reseña porque no creo que al propietario le importara qué tipo de experiencia tuvimos.

23/07/2025: Es war ein sehr toller Aufenthalt in der Speckstube Eggerhof,sehr freundliches Personal und Familie. Super Zimmer, groß und sehr gute Betten,extrem viel „Stauraum“ im Zimmer , Balkon usw. Frühstück war ein Traum und wir hatten immer Mittags von der Karte gegessen was alles sehr lecker war. Wir kommen wieder ,… Armin & Marina

18/07/2025: Ottima esperienza. Colazione con marmellate artigianali (mirtillo, lampone, prugna e un'altra che non ricordo), dolci fatti in casa, 4 tipi di pane, uova delle loro galline; buono anche il cappuccino. Formaggi e salumi ottimi, di loro produzione. Stanza ampia e pulita. Cena solo per gli ospiti offriva 2 scelte (costine con patate e 3 canederli con insalata) con prodotti ottimi, porzioni molto abbondanti; scelta tra 2/3 dolci fatti in casa. Abbiamo scelto lo strudel, veramente ottimo. Ottimi anche i prodotti offerti per il pranzo, consiglio il piatto della malga.

16/06/2025: Hier sind wir während unseres einwöchigen Schenna-Aufenthaltes gleich zweimal eingekehrt. Man sitzt drinnen und draußen im Gartenbereich sehr gut. Wunderbares Essen. Zum Reinlegen die Hühnerbrust in Schüttelbrotpanade und ebenso die mit diversem Gemüse. Sehr lecker auch die Nudelgerichte. Alles bei gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Aufmerksamer Service, netter Inhaber. Beim nächsten Schenna-Aufenthalt für uns ein festes Ziel!
