12/04/2026: Super friendly staff, spacious and quiet rooms, lovely spa area, great breakfast, but not suitable for vegans. Vegan options at breakfast were only offered at an extra charge.

29/01/2026: I stayed at this hotel with my husband for a short vacation, and I have to say we had a great time. The room was warm, clean, and warm (given the winter months), and the wellness area was very nice and well-organized. There's a restaurant and pizzeria next door where you can eat well. The only downside: its location isn't the best, but you can get pretty much anywhere with your own car or public transportation! Recommended!

What can we say about the hotel and their cuisine, truly top-quality, with truly top-notch low-temperature cooking? We'll repeat the wonderful experience at this hotel next year.

29/10/2025: We ordered food for takeout: 1. Despite only a 5-minute walk home, the food was lukewarm. 2. The menu on the website has outdated prices...very annoying. 3. The dumpling trio we ordered didn't include any salad!!! We didn't bother calling, though, because we were really hungry and wanted to at least have some semblance of warmth in our food. We definitely won't be ordering from there again or eating in.

28/02/2026: A traditional, beautiful, clean hotel with very friendly staff. The price is excellent, and I assure you, I asked for quotes in Trentino and no one offered such a bright room, of that size, with half board (and very good food), and in that location for a similar price. A twenty-minute drive takes you to Ortisei and Monte Pana, which is a perfect destination for families with children. Highly recommended!

07/03/2026: During the Winter Olympics, we spent a truly wonderful week at the Hotel Messnerwirt. The hotel is superbly located and boasts excellent room amenities. The rooms are comfortable, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean – you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. We booked half-board and were very satisfied with both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast offers a good selection with everything you could wish for. It's especially convenient that egg dishes can be ordered fresh and hot. The service is very attentive and friendly. Dinner, included in the half-board package, was also excellent. The menu selection is varied and of very high quality – a real treat after an active day. The hotel also has a small but lovely spa area, perfect for relaxation. While it's only open until 8 p.m., it's very well-maintained and pleasant. Another plus is the hotel's own parking, which is free and included in the booking. The hotel's parking spaces are free of charge and included in the price. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable stay in a small but excellent hotel with superb service, outstanding cleanliness, and very good food. We would gladly return!

02/04/2026: We wanted to go out for brunch for a friend's birthday, so we made a reservation here. The Tonig Bar has been known for this for several years (just like Viel Nois in Villnöß and, for the last few years, Valsegg in Vals). Initially, there was a small problem because our reservation hadn't been recorded, or had been recorded incorrectly. The time and number of people were correct, but the name was wrong. We were still allowed to sit in the room next to the bar (it wasn't our fault, after all) and were served immediately. ☺️ What followed was something I hadn't expected. I hadn't looked at any online photos. 😅 There was an excellent selection of savory and sweet dishes, lovingly presented on wooden platters – just like in the photos in the reviews. Everything tasted fantastic, including the fruit (it was only the end of March, after all), which wasn't limited to the usual suspects like apples, oranges, and bananas. I could have easily eaten more of the mango, pineapple, and passion fruit. 😀 I would have gladly skipped the yogurt, muesli, chocolate cake, and even the fresh waffles for that. 😂 We were very satisfied and had more than enough. At the end, we were asked if we wanted to take some food with us. There wasn't much left, after all. 🫢 The value for money was really good; we paid €35 ​​per person without any extras. And I have to say, it was varied, well-balanced, and plentiful. We enjoyed almost everything. ☺️ If it had been warmer and not so windy, it certainly would have been even better on the open terrace. I'm so glad I finally made it to brunch at Tonig Bar. After so many years of wanting to go! 🫢

20/01/2026: Excellent base in Bolzano. I stayed 10 nights in one of their apartments, and it was exactly what I wanted: quiet, clean, and well-equipped. Everything felt thoughtfully set up for a longer stay, and the overall vibe was calm and comfortable. The only small downside is that there isn’t a washing machine in the apartment, which you really notice on a 10-day trip. But local businesses are available to fill the gap. What truly sets Hotel Feichter apart, though, is that it’s family-owned and operated. This shows in the best way. It’s obvious the people working there are family members who genuinely enjoy being together; that warmth carries over to guests. The included breakfast is fantastic. Great selection, beautifully done, and the hosts will make espresso or cappuccino to order, which became a daily highlight. I’ll stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, welcoming, high-quality place in Bolzano.
