02/09/2024: Last year we spent a week in this wonderful structure and we decided to replicate the experience again this year, excellent choice!!! :) The place is wonderful, in a strategic position for both walking and mountain bike trips, tastefully furnished and perfectly managed! The spa is very beautiful and the swimming pool is suggestive, with an internal and an external part separated by a sliding glass door! The cuisine is amazing, the chefs are the talented sons of the owner who create excellent dishes every day... incredibly worth mentioning is the fish cooked better than in many city restaurants!! (particularly the one on the lake, not always tasty) Well done!! ! In the dining room, Lorenzo's presence is the added value that makes the system work perfectly thanks to a professional presence and promptness, but also genuine kindness that is not always encountered! The icing on the cake are the services within easy reach: the shop for renting mountain bikes (and skis in the winter season) attached to the hotel and the ski school a few meters away which organizes mountain bike courses for children in summer, we have plenty of took advantage of it! We hope to return soon!!

15/08/2024: Stopped briefly for an ice cream and elderberry spritzer. Very nice staff and delicious ice cream sundaes. The food from the neighboring tables also looked very good and obviously tasted good.

22/08/2024: Always a certainty.. Family run, always kind, very good fish dishes especially the seafood pasta, pizza and first courses.. honest prices.. I always recommend it, with reservation!

07/08/2024: We ate at Libero a few days ago, I'll start by saying that I don't like going to gourmet restaurants, I prefer "old fashioned" restaurants... like this one... You shouldn't expect "white glove treatment" but a brazenly kind relationship, the customer is treated in proportion to his education, a quality that I appreciate and which cannot be attributed to other even more refined places where the silly rule of "the customer is always right." Having said that, the food is good, I found the table service very satisfying and courteous, with a good quality/price ratio. A nice place to spend an evening in a simple and pleasant place, which is a bit reminiscent of the behavioral style of the 90s where you can eat in the outdoor area (in a covered area) or inside in a renovated and very well-kept environment. In my opinion it is a simply pleasant place, we will definitely return.

22/08/2024: Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per quattro giorni poco fa. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, il posto favoloso in una posizione ottima per chi ama la tranquillità in altitudine 😉 il personale gentile e disponibile. L’hotel molto bello e curato. Consigliato! Noi non siamo soliti a ritornare sullo stesso posto ma credo che qui faremo sicuramente ritorno!

04/07/2024: Have been in Frour now for three times. Once in summer 2023 and twice within last week. Year ago we were just bypassing Ortisei and stopped here, experience was good. Now first time we went and eat ourside waiters were confused who has ordered and what and brought food to wrong tables. We did not mind and decided to go again after a long hiking day. I decided not to go for pizza nor pasta, but take something "better". The portion portion was pricy and extremelly small. Had to order a pizza to fill me up. And the pizza was tastless! A waiter came during the first portion and asked if everything is ok. I said that no it is not, she said "ok" and went away. Can not recommend!

02/07/2024: Abbiamo ordinato il galletto con patate e funghi per 26€… ci sono arrivate due patate novelle con due pezzettini di pollo con pochissimi funghi… il gusto era buono ma le porzioni ridicole per une secondo. Alla fine abbiamo ordinato una pizza margherita, che ci è arrivata dopo quasi 30min, cruda e di bassa qualità… posto da evitare.

19/12/2023: Piccola gemma nascosta nella corte di un edificio architettonico antico unico e straordinario, ambiente caldo elegante, curato accogliente, atmosfera incantevole, personale cordiale e attento, servizio preciso, cucina eccellente, piatti che esteticamente hanno un gusto armonioso si distinguono dai piatti della zona, ottimi e porzioni abbondanti, ingredienti di prima qualità, abbinamenti perfetti dei vini un vero gioiello culinario. Il menù cambia ogni due settimane.

08/08/2024: If you would like to drink a very good wine at a later hour, the Weinschmiede is the right place for you (also at other times of the day, of course). Friendly staff, nice ambience and a great (wine) list. If you're not into wine, Mendelbier is very drinkable.
