Augustiner in Meran In Merano

We were at the beer garden in Trautmannsdorf today, June 12, 2026. Our verdict: Great atmosphere, fantastic Augustiner beer, and the food was excellent! And the price was great. Daniel served us so well, and we highly recommend it. Drive by, parking is no problem. Price, quality, and service all get a perfect score. We'll definitely be back. Friendly and attentive service. Very tasty beer. Pleasant beer garden in the back. However, it was quite noisy as all the tables were occupied. The waiters did their best to find seats for everyone. Great.

So... Taste-wise, it's a dream. The goulash is so tender, I've never experienced anything like it!! BUT! For €24 for that tiny portion, I didn't find it quite so amazing. I even shared some with my parents and still managed to polish off a whole pizza. I found that very disappointing after it was such a taste sensation, the likes of which I never thought possible. Hence the 3 stars. Regarding the service: The waiter seemed extremely stressed, but was very friendly, nice, and attentive. So, I recommend it for people with small stomachs or for those with big stomachs and even bigger wallets.
