26/10/2025: This was our second time there with our campervan – it's always worth a trip. However, we've never used the restrooms, as we always bring our own supplies. The food was delicious, the beef broth was fantastic... The value for money is absolutely fair. We'll be back!

04/04/2026: Loved the food and the old time charm here but the service was quite gruff. Our waiter brought us one entree, then our side a few minutes later. When we asked about the second entree (goulash) he huffed and rolled his eyes. It eventually came but we shouldn’t have had to ask.

07/03/2026: We happened to stop here for a meal on our way and were absolutely delighted! It's charmingly rustic, the service is very attentive, and the food is incredibly delicious. I'm sure the terrace has a lovely view in the summer. Highly recommended!

13/10/2025: It's all beautiful but the prices are too high, with 16 euros they give you 50 grams of ham (I understood that the landscape is wonderful and we are close to Germany where the salary is triple that of the Italian one) but you should offer discounts for those who come from outside or think of some promotion

29/09/2025: We came over from Ötztal and stopped by this alpine hut. Wonderful atmosphere (it's a quiet time now), the owner is a dream (friendly, funny, and chatty), and the two employees are super nice. The food...amazing. The cranberry spritzer is amazing. The dumplings (in all variations) are excellent, whether in soup or as a main course or dessert. I think we'll visit this relaxing place sometime in the summer months. If the hosts need help with their daily tasks, just let us know :) It was a wonderful stay with YOU.

29/01/2026: I was in Bressanone to visit the Christmas markets. I had lunch at this wonderful restaurant/wine bar, offering a wide selection of Alto Adige wines. The owner, Mr. Christoph Mayr, was very helpful in fulfilling all our requests and provided an excellent welcome.

06/01/2026: An incredibly enjoyable lunch. The atmosphere was pleasant, the food, wine, and service were all excellent. The tagliolini with parsley and guinea fowl ragu was particularly memorable and delicious.

16/02/2026: Walderhof is a wonderful place to stay. The apartments are brand new and very modern. They also offer a delicious breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay – highly recommended! And thank you so much for all your efforts.

03/01/2026: 5 Stars - An Unforgettable New Year's Eve at the Schmiederalm! Dear Schmiederalm Family, we would like to thank you for the unforgettable stay! Our 5 nights in room number 1 were fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the view from the bed and balcony was simply breathtaking! The mountains at sunset – magical! Breakfast was a highlight every morning. A generous platter of cold cuts and cheeses on every table, a large bread basket, and fresh eggs made to order. Dinner in the traditional dining room was superb and cozy. The Strauben (a type of Austrian fried pastry) was another highlight! But the best thing was the incredibly friendly hosts! Even Grandpa helped out. And of course, we mustn't forget the super cuddly cat! The Schmiederalm's location is perfect for hikers and skiers. We were in fantastic ski resorts within half an hour and were also able to enjoy wonderful hikes. We highly recommend the Schmiederalm and will definitely come back again in the summer! 06/10/2025: A fantastic restaurant in South Tyrol! Freshly made pizza from the stone oven at super-reasonable prices! Absolutely fantastic! The Nutella pizza for dessert is also incredibly delicious. Highly recommended if you're looking for a delicious place to stop after a hike. The staff is also super friendly and accommodating. Top-notch!

05/11/2025: On the fourth day of my Italian trip, I was struggling with Italian food, so I stopped by for takeout dinner. The service was warm, and I ordered the recommended pizza and waited. There were quite a few takeout customers, and it felt like a famous local restaurant. I returned to my room and had some wine and a meal, and it was absolutely delicious. It wasn't that the Italian food was bad, but rather that the restaurants I'd previously tried were the problem. It was a night of relief. Thank you. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to the Dolomites👍
