28/05/2025: An Unforgettable Evening on Vacation – Trattoria Al Boia Partanes During our vacation in Merano, we spent an evening at Trattoria Al Boia Partanes, and it was one of the most beautiful culinary moments of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm, stylish atmosphere. Located in the heart of the old town, the trattoria is full of charm and attention to detail, making it a truly comfortable place. The food was a dream: fresh, flavorful, and authentic Italian. The fish dishes and pasta were particularly outstanding. You can tell the passion the food is cooked with. The wine recommendation also matched perfectly. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive—just what you want for a successful evening. For us, it was an all-around successful evening, one we will always remember. If you're in Merano, you shouldn't miss this place. We'd love to come back!

15/02/2025: Nice hotel with very tasty food and very friendly staff. Attention to detail. The accommodation is also very well located to the slopes, ski school and is very easy to reach by public transport. The wellness and spa area is top. All in all a lovely successful holiday. I'll be back.

02/06/2025: A very nice hotel. Both the hosts and the staff fulfill all your wishes. There is a very personal, warm atmosphere. The excellent cuisine, which is on par with that of Michelin-starred chefs, deserves special mention! Robert's excellent cocktails, prepared with great enthusiasm, also deserve a special mention, and they repeatedly drew us to the bar. The spa and sauna also invited us to linger. 13/05/2025: Spring 2025 was the second time for us in this hotel, and it consolidated our opinion of it. Both times we stayed for three days as a short romantic getaway. The hotel is in downtown Schlanders, a 5-minute walk to everything you could need (including the local market), and close to hiking and cycling paths completely surrounded by nature, if you prefer an active and adventorous vacation. The hotel also provides local transportation passes, if you need them. We chose to relax and stayed in the hotel for most of the time, taking advantage of their spa pools and their massage services (shouout to Andrea, very discreet and professional): the have a outdoor cold pool, a medium lukewarm outdoor hydrotherapy pool, another lukewarm upstream indoor pool, a hot hydrotherapy pool, a lounge room, sauna and turkish sauna and such. The rooms are quite standard for the area (but I don't think that's what really matters, because you're still not gonna spend all day in your room): comfortable bedding, essentially tidy, clean and full of natural lighting; the view from some rooms might not be the best (don't expect just mountains), as we're still downtown, but they did their best to ensure privacy and quiet by placing high trees and plants that mask most of the urban scenery from the surrounding area. The first thing that keeps us coming is the (at least bilingual) staff. While being kind and corteous is the general standards for hotels like these, I think they bring it to another level: most of the staff is young and friendly, even up to chat for a while (and maybe recommends local places to go), but still very discreet. Very good service, extreme kindness and willingness are their triumph card. The second thing is, of course, the food. While this should be another high standard for this type of hotels, we know it is not always the case, unfortunately. In this case were geniuinely amazed, not just by the selection, but also at the quality of the food we were served! International breakfast with local cold cuts, cheeses and breads, a variety of yogurts and cereals, juices, and such. While they don't provide lunch (it might not be worth it, considering many guests are probably hiking at that time), there's a small mid-afternoon buffet with fresh fruits and cakes available. While I think it the experience might be improved by adding a salted snacks selection to it, it's still worth it as everything tastes amazing. Dinnertime is where the kitchen displays everything they do best: rich appetizers buffet, cheese and chutney selections, 5-courses well-balanced meals (with vegetarian options). Everything is fresh, with seasonal and, again, local produces, seasoned, cooked and portioned to perfection. The third thing, but this is just due to a personal issue, is the temperature of the water. Many other places have extremely hot water in their pools, and while I get that can be part of the relaxation for some people, for medical reasons, I couldn't use it without getting sick, therefore ruining the rest of my vacation. The water here is just perfect, that even the hottest water doesn't make me sick, so I can actually enjoy the pools. Fair warning, for those who are not used to it: expect nudity in the pool areas. Both times we were there we always felt very welcome, and sent pictures to our family and friends and recommended them to try this place. Honorable mention: we got engaged here (thanks again to the staff, for helping my fiancee setting up the surprise at dinner, and for filming the proposal), and we're considering coming back to this hotel with our best men after the wedding for another relaxing weekend.

05/06/2025: Bistro 7 is an institution! A very nice owner, excellent and, above all, friendly staff. The food (although we've only eaten there twice) is very good. But we usually go there for a drink in a relaxed atmosphere. And to top it off... our dog always gets a treat.

01/05/2025: A real insider tip on the Jaufenpass! On our journey over the Jaufen Pass we made a spontaneous stop at the Hotel-Restaurant Unterer Obereggerhof in Walten - and were more than positively surprised. Our snack was simply excellent – ​​fresh, homemade and prepared with a lot of dedication. You can taste that almost everything is produced here in-house. The view of the valley is breathtaking and gives the meal a very special backdrop. Particularly worth mentioning is the house's love of animals and child-friendliness - whether two-legged or four-legged, everyone is welcome here. A place that not only saturates, but inspires. Unreserved recommendation

24/06/2025: Weekend immersed in nature. We stayed for the first time in this hotel located in the heart of the Alpe di Siusi. From the moment of booking we found maximum availability and courtesy to make the weekend special. As a housing solution we chose a corner suite that to say the least gives you the sensation of resting directly inside the forest thanks to the scent of the natural wood with which it is made and with a view that extends towards the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites. As for the services, the wellness area and the heated indoor/outdoor pool are exceptional for beauty, functionality and cleanliness. Finally the catering, dishes as we like them 'not too heavy' and with top quality ingredients. Finally how can we not mention the possibility of using all the common facilities and services even on the day of departure. This possibility allowed us to spend 2 entire days in one of the most beautiful places in the Alpine arc. Thank you and compliments not only for the structure but also for the professionalism and courtesy of all the staff. We will definitely be back.

24/06/2025: Thanks to the constant upgrade, I'd like to give it one more star, but unfortunately, that's not possible. The location and view from the room were fantastic. But the food and staff also more than deserve full marks. Of course, all of this comes at a price. But you're even happier when you realize that the price was actually worth it. You can't help but warmly recommend the hotel. Thank you for the wonderful vacation.

25/06/2025: Staff was exceptionally rude. After waiting for 5 minutes at the front they finally responded to us and instructed us to wait for 2 minutes as they were setting up a table for us. At least 10 to 15 minutes go by of us standing at the front and the table still had not been made. Not only did they seem extremely understaffed but they ended up giving another two guests a table before us (unsure if they had booked prior or not because they spoke a language I didn’t understand). There were many free tables available. They could have said no, we cannot give a table unless you book. But they told us to wait for two minutes, only for us to be standing for 15 as other people got tables. Gave me the impression business was running poorly, so they grabbed us and told us to wait as soon as we got there 🤷‍♀️ Very poor service, I don’t recommend unless you book prior. Very rude, clear communication could have mitigated this issue. Its a shame because the food smelt delicious but apparently its overpriced anyway 🤣
