16/03/2026: We spontaneously decided to have lunch at this lovely restaurant and received a very warm welcome. The quality of the food is truly excellent, and the portion sizes, especially the pasta, justify the price. The wine selection and advice are also worth mentioning. Highly recommended!

03/03/2026: Staff was exceptionally rude. After waiting for 5 minutes at the front they finally responded to us and instructed us to wait for 2 minutes as they were setting up a table for us. At least 10 to 15 minutes go by of us standing at the front and the table still had not been made. Not only did they seem extremely understaffed but they ended up giving another two guests a table before us (unsure if they had booked prior or not because they spoke a language I didn’t understand). There were many free tables available. They could have said no, we cannot give a table unless you book. But they told us to wait for two minutes, only for us to be standing for 15 as other people got tables. Gave me the impression business was running poorly, so they grabbed us and told us to wait as soon as we got there 🤷‍♀️ Very poor service, I don’t recommend unless you book prior. Very rude, clear communication could have mitigated this issue. Its a shame because the food smelt delicious but apparently its overpriced anyway 🤣

17/02/2026: A small but very welcoming pizzeria with a truly varied selection of pizzas. The owner is extremely kind and helpful. The pizza, thin and crispy, is light yet very tasty.

10/02/2026: We came here by chance, but we left feeling incredibly satisfied. The first courses were special: we tried the tagliatelle with venison ragù and the cappellacci, also filled with venison. The pasta was fresh, homemade, and the toppings were very tasty. For the second course, we shared a tagliata (a thin slice of beef) for three, which was truly delicious. We were also craving pizza, so we tried the one with local speck and Malga di Sesto cheese. It was a delicious way to end the meal, even though we were very full. A truly pleasant discovery; we'll definitely be back next time.

10/02/2026: We went to this restaurant on Saturday for lunch: simply divine! There were six of us and we tried the various appetizers and first courses...you're spoiled for choice because everything is delicious, authentic, and carefully prepared. On another occasion we also had the pizza, which is special in all its variations.

05/10/2025: The menu is very small; it's not published on their website. It has many dishes with entrails. At night, the road to the restaurant is very dangerous because it's very small and unlit.

03/10/2025: We spent a wonderful evening at the Umser Mühlele. The ambiance is truly wonderful, and the service was super friendly. We had three courses, and everything was excellently prepared and presented. The quality is evident in every dish. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back. Card payments are no problem.

26/10/2025: After a wonderful hike, we visited the Bergl Alm and were thrilled! The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. I would especially like to highlight the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. The food was excellent; the South Tyrolean specialties are simply delicious. The portions are generous, and the value for money is good. The cozy atmosphere and the sun terrace are the perfect place to linger and relax—just the right place to recharge after a hike. The Bergl Alm is an absolute must for every hiker and mountain lover in Kurzras. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend this place!

01/03/2026: Beautiful alpine pasture with a magnificent view. Very friendly. One star deducted because of the "natural water." Ordering "natural water" and receiving a Merano "natural water" bottle filled with tap water is unacceptable. I have nothing against tap water; I prefer it anyway. But simply filling the bottle and selling it as Merano water is absolutely wrong.

21/02/2026: A fantastic mountain hut for a winter hike from the Falzeben valley station. Great food, very friendly landlady – highly recommended.
