25/06/2025: Staff was exceptionally rude. After waiting for 5 minutes at the front they finally responded to us and instructed us to wait for 2 minutes as they were setting up a table for us. At least 10 to 15 minutes go by of us standing at the front and the table still had not been made. Not only did they seem extremely understaffed but they ended up giving another two guests a table before us (unsure if they had booked prior or not because they spoke a language I didn’t understand). There were many free tables available. They could have said no, we cannot give a table unless you book. But they told us to wait for two minutes, only for us to be standing for 15 as other people got tables. Gave me the impression business was running poorly, so they grabbed us and told us to wait as soon as we got there 🤷‍♀️ Very poor service, I don’t recommend unless you book prior. Very rude, clear communication could have mitigated this issue. Its a shame because the food smelt delicious but apparently its overpriced anyway 🤣

24/06/2025: Weekend immersed in nature. We stayed for the first time in this hotel located in the heart of the Alpe di Siusi. From the moment of booking we found maximum availability and courtesy to make the weekend special. As a housing solution we chose a corner suite that to say the least gives you the sensation of resting directly inside the forest thanks to the scent of the natural wood with which it is made and with a view that extends towards the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites. As for the services, the wellness area and the heated indoor/outdoor pool are exceptional for beauty, functionality and cleanliness. Finally the catering, dishes as we like them 'not too heavy' and with top quality ingredients. Finally how can we not mention the possibility of using all the common facilities and services even on the day of departure. This possibility allowed us to spend 2 entire days in one of the most beautiful places in the Alpine arc. Thank you and compliments not only for the structure but also for the professionalism and courtesy of all the staff. We will definitely be back.

24/06/2025: Thanks to the constant upgrade, I'd like to give it one more star, but unfortunately, that's not possible. The location and view from the room were fantastic. But the food and staff also more than deserve full marks. Of course, all of this comes at a price. But you're even happier when you realize that the price was actually worth it. You can't help but warmly recommend the hotel. Thank you for the wonderful vacation.

22/06/2025: We ate there several times during our vacation. The menu has a wide range, from classic Italian dishes to regional specialties. Short wait times and friendly staff rounded out the positive experience. Everything we ate was delicious.

22/06/2025: The food was nothing special; the salad was brown. The service staff was friendly, professional, and efficient. You can sit outside, but the patio chairs are uncomfortable and there are no cushions.

19/06/2025: What you might not expect at first glance are the truly delicious and large pizzas in all sorts of "variations." The mortadella pizza (see photo) with sour cream and pistachio cream was amazing!

08/07/2025: A very, very fine and excellently run restaurant with an excellent menu. We have rarely been treated so kindly and competently in a restaurant, even though almost all the seats were taken. Absolutely top recommendation!

04/07/2025: Delicious dumplings, both with broth and mixed ones. The strudel is also excellent. Eating on the terrace also offers a beautiful view. Honest prices.

Solo perché il primo scelto alla fine era buono (anche se, a dirla tutta, il menù prevedeva poche specialità locali ed elaborazioni discutibili, oppure piatti non tipici, come i miei strozzapreti, che sono trentini...). Su tutto il resto stendiamo un velo pietoso perché è evidente che la gestione del locale è in mano a personale totalmente inadeguato, incapace di gestire i picchi e a rapportarsi con la clientela in modo cortese e professionale. Prima di tutto: il tavolo me lo sono creato da solo, spostando barili e sedie. Dopodiché, anziché ringraziarmi, il caposala ha pensato bene di farmi ordinare e ammonirmi di non scappare senza pagare perché ci sono le telecamere a sorvegliare. Ma io mi chiedo: ma che modi sono? Additarmi come un ladro così, gratuitamente? Vergogna! Quantomeno, avrei gradito un servizio impeccabile, e invece in una giornata da tutto esaurito, il personale era ai minimi storici, un'ora per un primo piatto e, a mia domanda su che fine avesse fatto (stavano mangiando tutti i tavoli che avevano ordinato dopo di me che ero da solo, primi piatti compresi), la prima risposta è stata "no non puoi chiedere", la seconda è stata "se hai ordinato arriva", e solo la terza volta magicamente è comparso il piatto. Ho quindi evitato il dolce e pensavo di bere un caffè al banco. Cosa invece non possibile e quindi l'ho dovuto ordinare. Stessa scena. A quel punto, avendo già pagato con l'ordine, sono entrato io al banco a ritirarlo in autonomia: era sul bancone che aspettava da chissà quanto. Che vergogna. E soprattutto, che imbarazzo: la Badia non ha bisogno di locali del genere, che si fregiano di essere rifugi storici e invece farebbero meglio a cedere il passo ad altri!

02/06/2025: The farm may look unassuming at first glance, but the culinary offerings are outstanding. The service is also superb. The menu changes daily, mostly from the farm's own produce, and is very delicious. If the weather permits, we recommend sitting in the courtyard, as it offers a beautiful view of the Brixen Valley. Highly recommended!

03/05/2025: A wonderful place to stop off! There are typical South Tyrolean dishes from soup and dumplings to Kaiserschmarn. We were able to enjoy the panoramic view and sunset directly from the table. The service was super friendly and attentive. The price is also unbeatable for the fresh quality. We'll definitely be back!

05/06/2025: This was our first time at the Thalguter Hof and we opted for an apartment, immediately booking again for next year :) I think that says it all: we felt comfortable there. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked, the entire team was very friendly, and we were delighted to be able to vacation there with our dog. We'd love to come back.

18/04/2025: Very nice hotel with a wonderful indoor pool. The very friendly staff were particularly noteworthy. The hotel is very family-friendly and the price-performance ratio is also great. The breakfast buffet has a large selection and is very tasty. We'd love to come back!
