19/02/2025: Very nice place to stay. Nice staff, good food, brilliant location with a fantastic view of the rose garden. Every now and then there's a furry Fraggle running around with iron in his face. It's really sweet, but you shouldn't pet it. 😅

10/03/2025: All dishes are prepared with local ingredients. The service is great, the location offers a beautiful view of Merano.

09/03/2025: Small place perched on the mountain ridge, just above the town of Marlengo, with an incredible view over the entire valley of Merano. Furnished like a typical mountain refuge, where wood reigns supreme, it is warm and welcoming. Limited menu, but good dishes, all made with typical local products of the area. Modest prices for still plentiful dishes.

24/02/2025: Great rustic hut with very friendly service. It's incredibly cozy inside and the large terrace outside invites you to enjoy the sun. Must have: Dumplings Tris! 😉

17/03/2025: I have known the Fiecther Alm (Malga dei Pini) for 13 years now, the best mountain hut in Val d'Ultimo and in my opinion one of the best in all of Trentino. The best dishes are definitely the dumplings and goulash, one day a week (if I'm not mistaken, Sunday) they make grilled chicken, shin and ribs. To reach it from the lake of Fontana Bianca a simple mule track, only 100m in altitude.

08/02/2025: This is our second year visiting this restaurant. Always friendly staff, cute animals that you can watch through the glass from the restaurant hall, always delicious dishes and drinks. Although the last time we noticed that it had become more expensive, the portions were smaller and we didn’t really like a couple of dishes. For children, there is a good playground nearby with a trampoline and swings. Wonderful view from the veranda.

19/03/2025: First of all, we (unfortunately) didn't eat at the restaurant. We didn't have a reservation, and the restaurant was fully booked. Despite their obvious workload, they not only gave us a recommendation, but also went to the trouble of checking with another restaurant to see if they had capacity and making a reservation for us. Unfortunately, due to our upcoming departure the following day, it was no longer possible to dine in the restaurant—but we'll make up for that on our next visit. We've rarely experienced such kindness and effort. Thank you very much for that.

20/02/2025: Quaint Italian restaurant, the pizza was phenomenal - really, baked with real fire! The taste is a hit! A family business where the mother works in the kitchen, one son makes the pizza, the other helps in the kitchen and the daughter-in-law delivers on the moped. We would love to come back! 23/03/2025: Were there. The food wasn't good. My pasta sank into the tomato sauce. Unfortunately, the pizza was more of a starter than a main course, so the pizza alone didn't fill you up. The salad was crisp and fresh, but the additional ingredients made a lot of savings and the price ratio was difficult! (mine was with zucchini, aubergine and mushrooms: zucchini not cooked through, aubergine hardly visible, the mushrooms were fine) Overall, unfortunately not a recommendation!

17/02/2025: It's worth taking a detour to this gem. The 3* hotel pampers its guests to their complete satisfaction! My husband is a member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Baillage StGall. We can only praise the excellent cuisine! The price-performance ratio is excellent! Where can you get a room with breakfast and a 5-course menu at gourmet level for currently €88? The owners, the Gallia couple, work up to 18 hours a day with a smile on their faces. We'll definitely come back!!!

18/04/2025: I had dinner here with my father in the evening and had a really delicious gluten-free pizza! Really one of the best in a long time :) I read in the reviews here that there is supposed to be gluten-free pasta there, but the staff told me that that's not the case (just as information for everyone who would like to eat pasta)
