Accessible from the Pë de Börz parking lot (also by bus). The hike takes about an hour, is slightly uphill, suitable for all ages, and follows a forest road. We stopped for a break before continuing to the "summit" of Monte Muro, and sampled the delicious dumplings. You can relax on the lounge chairs and admire the view of the Peitlerkofel.

A very beautiful hike to the hut, great views, delicious food, very friendly staff, everything clean and well-maintained – it's worth staying even if you're not just there for the food. Overnight accommodation is available.

Very friendly hut owners and a great location. Excellent value for money and delicious gluten-free poppy seed cake and buckwheat torte. Even a year after our last visit: everything was top-notch again! We'll definitely be back.

24/04/2026: We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Hotel Saltria on the Seiser Alm. The location is simply exceptional – waking up in the morning with a view of the Langkofel and Plattkofel mountains is breathtaking every time. The rooms are beautifully and luxuriously furnished; you immediately feel at home. After a day outdoors, the spa area with its warm pool and panoramic views was simply perfect for unwinding. The food also truly impressed us – varied, light, and of very high quality. You can tell that quality is a priority here. We were particularly impressed by the friendly and attentive staff. You feel welcome without it seeming forced. We will definitely be back.
