23/08/2025: We celebrated my birthday. They were very kind, the food was excellent, and the customer service was excellent. They even showed up with a gift for the birthday girl.

02/08/2025: We had a wonderful, unforgettable evening at the Astra Restaurant. Melanie and Gregor treated us very warmly and offered us an incredible menu. We've never experienced such an experience involving literally all of our senses in any gourmet restaurant before – absolutely outstanding! We had a wow moment with every course, with the presentation and arrangement at the table. We also had a magnificent view from the terrace. We are absolutely thrilled and hope to return soon. Thank you so much!

15/07/2025: Super! At the end of a comfortable, less-trafficked trail compared to the others starting from Malga Fane, you reach this paradise. After delicious dumplings and barley soup, we enjoyed their lounge chairs for a couple of hours without anyone pushing us. A group of friends also enjoyed the same experience, sitting at the table for just as long. A fantastic place to enjoy a stunning view away from the hustle and bustle.

06/07/2025: The alpine hut isn't particularly large, but it's all the more welcoming! The view and the food are equally wonderful; we highly recommend a visit.

31/08/2025: Personally, I don't think the decor is that nice, and the olive oil on the table was a few weeks out of date, but the one pizza with no tomatoes but with coarse salt and rosemary was incredibly delicious! I'd come back for that alone.

19/08/2025: A very welcoming bistro, bakery, and pastry shop, filled with flowers and small artwork. A little gem is the XL cappuccino served in "grandmother's" porcelain cups.

02/08/2025: I happened to be there because I was feeling a bit hungry in the morning. It was a very positive experience, because the breakfast was amazing. The taste was amazing – but above all, it was a feast for the eyes! The value for money was definitely right.

31/08/2025: The residence is located right at the beginning of the village and is easily recognizable from a distance thanks to the rooftop swimming pool. The service, including check-in, was wonderful, and the guests were treated with a high level of professionalism. The wellness area is outstanding for this hotel. The dinner was also a delight, and no one left hungry after a long day of hiking on the Merano High Trail. Our hiking group (11 people) felt very comfortable, received a warm welcome, and were well looked after. My tip: this accommodation definitely deserves another star, with so much attention to detail and passion, which repeatedly made it clear to us: The guest is king.

13/08/2025: The pizza tastes delicious, but it's huge, so come prepared with a good appetite. The menu also includes a few meat and pasta dishes. The service was prompt and very friendly. The terrace and conservatory are wheelchair accessible. There's a private parking lot about 50 meters away. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

04/09/2025: We were privileged to spend an unforgettable evening at the Tschuegghof! The view and ambiance are breathtaking. You feel like you're on the set of a romantic Heimatfilm and immediately feel "at home" – thanks in no small part to the warm hospitality. We highly recommend it – even with children. Lots of wonderful animals and the farm is superbly maintained and clean! ☺️ We'll be back!

20/08/2025: This isn't a restaurant. Here you'll find honest cuisine, a small selection of South Tyrolean dishes, and fantastic speck – all served at the hosts' pace. There's no room for hecticness here. You can enjoy the view over the entire valley and sip a cold beer while the chickens roam around your feet. You won't pass by here by chance. The deliberate (winding) journey is worth it.

27/07/2025: Booked for a single night in July. Price: €65 per person for bed and breakfast. The owner is very kind and welcoming. Located just a few meters from the town center. You can walk everywhere. Parking is available. The breakfast in the morning is just right. A few items, but essential. I would just recommend an extra cake or tart. Our room also had a balcony. It was clean and had a TV. The bathroom was small but well-equipped. I recommend changing the pillows and giving them firmer regular pillows; the ones provided are "empty." Otherwise, I recommend it for a quick stopover.

16/07/2025: We stayed there for two days. The welcome was very friendly. Great hosts. Absolutely excellent value for money. We'd love to come back.

10/08/2025: I tried Chef Mirko's menu, delicate and sometimes spicy, slightly hot dishes. I recommend it. It's hard to explain when everything is so good. There's also a fish menu option. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The place is clean. A super wide selection of wines. Parking is outside, so you'll definitely find it easily because it's spacious. I recommend booking a few days in advance.

05/09/2025: Great pitstop on our hike. Service was great and atmosphere was amazing when sitting on the terrace enjoying the view 🤩. Food was delicious.

08/09/2025: We booked a double room with a balcony and half board. The rooms are large, well-maintained, and very clean; the table in the room could have been larger – a second armchair would have been nice, too. The balcony, with its table and two chairs, was very usable. The room had air conditioning with no time restrictions, which was very good. The bathroom was sufficiently large, with a first-class shower. The soundproof windows held up well. The Wi-Fi was fast and stable; our private Magenta TV stick worked perfectly and smoothly. The only downside: a very small TFT monitor – which was also set too high :-( The pool/garden was great; also the whirlpool and the bright (large glass) sauna. Two bus stops in the immediate vicinity; fantastic! The staff – really all of them! – were natural, attentive, and always competent and friendly. Food: Breakfast was all there – except for the fried egg with bacon >shame< and fish (...but do you really need fish at 9 a.m.!?). In the evening, there were two set menus to choose from – and if necessary, you could also choose from the children's menu (fries/pasta - schnitzel, etc.). [We found the price/wine for dinner at 0.1 L in the glass to be excessive. Beer, etc., was fine! ... My suggestion: Please improve the wine list here; there could be some improvement 😏 ] Conclusion: Nice vacation – nice hotel 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♂️

02/09/2025: The location is very central, and Merano is truly beautiful. The hotel has everything: a pool, a spa area with a sauna and whirlpool, a rooftop terrace, and bathrobes and towels are available at reception. The staff is very friendly! There aren't many parking spaces at the hotel, but luckily we always had a spot.
