05/02/2026: Everything is delicious! Both the traditional flavors and the more innovative ones, like the cocoa tagliatelle. What surprised us the most were the desserts; they're worth a visit just for those. The atmosphere is very comfortable and quiet, and the service is very friendly.

30/01/2026: I was in Bressanone to visit the Christmas markets and had lunch at this historic restaurant. Excellent rating (the best I can give). The owner, Mr. Christoph Mayr, was very kind and welcoming and fully accommodated all our requests.

22/01/2026: A mixed experience. The ambiance is very nice, and the food was partly very good (filet mignon), although rather pricey. What disappointed us greatly was the wait (over 50 minutes for a Wiener Schnitzel). As a result, we ate the bread basket twice and ordered more wine, which was actually meant to accompany the meal. I also can't shake the impression that the tables weren't being served in the order of our orders. When the wait became excessive, the service suddenly disappeared… instead of proactively informing us about any difficulties in the kitchen. Very disappointing…

01/03/2026: Nothing to complain about the food, but there's no point in booking, as they won't hold a table and will give it to the first person who arrives. We had booked a table at 1:00 PM, but arrived at 1:15 PM due to a problem with the child on the steps, and surprise, the table hadn't been held. A terrible experience from this point of view.

13/01/2026: I had an incredibly bad apple strudel here today. It definitely wasn't homemade, just defrosted. And it came with a cold espresso. The service was okay, but it wasn't worth the visit. Sorry.

06/01/2026: Nice location and confortable rooms, service was not appropiate to us: in the given room the heater was not working and we had to spend two days and one night in the cold before moving. The problem was not recognize and we waited for maintenance attempts before management decide to give another room. --- I read yor standard response which does not encourage me to return to your facilities, you have missed an opportunity.

22/03/2026: I must extend my heartfelt congratulations to the owners of this restaurant. First of all, because in a place like Bolzano they let you dine late (personally, at 10:30 PM). Secondly, for the exceptional quality of the welcome, the service, and the food. I never imagined I'd eat such fresh fish in Alto Adige. So don't be fooled by the name. Marechiaro isn't the kind of trattoria with Vesuvius painted on the walls and a Pulcinella statue at the counter. Neapolitan tradition is, if anything, respected in its quality and hospitality. Not in its folklore.

12/03/2026: Fish that tastes like water....they try to sell the water straight away to break the balls and cash in on the water. Slow service and a place that's too chic for what it offers.

01/04/2026: After a nice walk in Prato Piazza, we sat inside for lunch. The food was excellent, and we found the staff very friendly. They're pet-friendly, so that's great! My wife had a huge, delicious homemade cordon bleu with an excellent horseradish sauce. My potatoes with eggs and speck were delicious. Well done to the kitchen staff.

14/03/2026: A great place for a break if you're heading to Val di Fiemme or Val di Fassa. We enjoyed a cheese and cured meat platter, a pasta dish, and a dessert to finish with a coffee. The place is charming and the service excellent. You can also buy local products, with a wide selection and beautifully displayed.

15/03/2026: Cozy place with nice pizzas at affordable prices. The cocktail hugina was very nice, recommended. So was the housemade tiramisu. Pizza size is very good and with nice dough.

14/03/2026: The Costabella restaurant is an amazing place - we ended up going three times during our week‑long holiday. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The food was excellent - we tried starters, pizzas, burgers, local dishes, and desserts. The Wiener Schnitzel was outstanding and is easily the best in town (and yes, we compared!). The pizza was delicious and you can even get it to go. Compared to other restaurants in the area, Costabella really stands out for its welcoming team, tasty food, and great value for money. I recommend calling a day in advance to reserve a table at the time that suits you best, but the team is always very accommodating and usually manages to find a spot even if you arrive without a reservation.
