I can wholeheartedly recommend the Gasthof Zum Hirschen to anyone looking for a holiday retreat with warm and welcoming hosts, high-quality furnishings, wonderful food, and a peaceful, natural setting. We found the Kofler-Mocatti family to be incredibly friendly, helpful, and warm-hearted people who, along with their team, do everything possible to ensure their guests have an outstanding stay. Both breakfast and dinner are of exceptional quality. We particularly enjoyed our room in the newly renovated building, with its simple architecture and the choice of materials and furnishings. The sauna and numerous seating and relaxation areas, both indoors and outdoors, complete the experience at the Hirschen. Anyone seeking peace and quiet, and who enjoys walking, hiking, or cycling, will feel right at home here.

We spent two excellent nights at the Gasthof zum Hirschen. We stayed in one of the older rooms, which is quite dated. The warm welcome we and our one-year-old son received was particularly noteworthy. A pleasant hotel in a beautiful location, away from the hustle and bustle of the Adige Valley, which we have been visiting for years. The modernization was very successful, preserving the original character of the building, which is located right in the heart of Our Lady of the Woods. The rooms are very beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home at all times. We were treated to imaginative and highly creative cuisine, which places great emphasis on local produce and herbs. First-class multi-course dinners (part of our half-board arrangement) and an excellent breakfast made our stay a truly enjoyable experience. Many thanks to the Kofler-Mocatti family. An ideal place for active recreation and relaxation. The surrounding area offers a wide range of activities, even without a car. The cuisine – from the multi-course breakfast to the creative evening menu – is outstanding in its creativity and flavors, complemented by perfectly paired wines.
