Very nice view on the mountains. We went there for lunch and arrived before noon so there were tables available. The Pork Escalope was spot on , very tender and tasty. The plates we have seen on other tables also looked extremly good. The service extremly friendly and efficent. Aside from the printed menu they had another menu of the day with another 10- 15 dishes , so plenty of choice. There is also a small playground for kids.

A beautiful place with fantastic food. What I especially appreciate is that the owners, Luis and Elisabeth, try to source their products from the region or even from the Ritten plateau. I love taking guests to Kematen for meals. Highly recommended! 😋😋😋

We had a superb meal today at "Ansitz Kematen" on the panoramic terrace. Exquisite food at a reasonable price, very attentive service. And the view is perfect and priceless—a place to unwind!

Fantastic location, especially for rooms with balconies. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommended for hikers and those seeking peace and quiet. Excellent cuisine and very good wines.

I had the most expensive, but also the best asparagus soup of my life... incredibly delicious. The fish was very well seasoned and succulent, and the side dishes were also very tasty. The service was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely visit again if we are in the area.

29/05/2026: We were at this beautiful alpine pasture today 😍 We were lucky it was only open on its first day!! Super service... incredibly friendly staff, and the food and atmosphere were simply fantastic!! We were there with our three dogs and will definitely be back!!!!
