A typical atmosphere, very welcoming and warm, making you feel right at home. Perfect for couples or groups. The food is very good and high-quality; the strudel is the best in the area, in my opinion. The staff is always kind and welcoming.

Honestly, the best apple strudel of my life, including vanilla sauce. I could have eaten ten of them, even if I'd had to throw up. Otherwise, everyone was super nice and solid. Best regards, I'll be back for some pork and dumplings.

01/02/2026: We dined at this restaurant one evening during our ski holiday. Even when I made my reservation over the phone, I was struck by the courtesy and gratitude of the person on the other end. The dinner was spectacular. High-quality ingredients. If you truly want to eat typical Val Gardena cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. The gnocchi were spectacular, as were the pappardelle with venison ragù, which was also top-notch. But for us, the venison medallions with polenta and sauerkraut were the standout! The portions were definitely more than adequate, even a little generous (but don't change them!!). I absolutely have to give a huge shout-out to Mr. Pietro, who served us impeccably and was incredibly kind and also very, very friendly. We will return to this restaurant every time we return to Selva di Val Gardena. We hope to see you in the summer! Hugs from Rome! ❤️
