A traditional and welcoming restaurant, surrounded by greenery, fruit orchards and vineyards. Outdoor seating is available. Reservations are recommended. The food is inviting and reasonably priced, considering northern Italian standards. A wide selection of beers, pasta dishes, meat dishes, and desserts, not to mention the homemade gelato. Friendly staff.

Delicious ice cream in a great atmosphere

The beef tartare is amazing. Freshly prepared at the table, it tastes fantastic. The food is great, almost all of it comes directly from their own farm, and the owners are incredibly nice. We look forward to their delicious home-brewed beer every year.

The setting is definitely the highlight of this place, especially the outdoor area, which is beautiful and relaxing. Personally, I found the food somewhat overrated. The cooking felt more rustic and home-style than refined, with fairly straightforward flavors and not much depth or balance. The ingredients also didn’t strike me as particularly fresh or high quality. The desserts were especially disappointing for my taste. They reminded me more of very sweet American-style cakes than the kind of more delicate, balanced desserts I was expecting. Everything we tried was extremely sweet, to the point where the sweetness overwhelmed the other flavors. This is obviously subjective, but personally I didn’t enjoy the desserts at all. The outdoor setting is lovely, although there were quite a lot of flies around the table, which inevitably affected the dining experience. Overall, the food and dining experience were fairly average for me, while the surroundings were much more impressive. I’d come here for the atmosphere and scenery rather than specifically for the food.

This place is SO cute! We’re here in July and there is an adorable garden, beautiful flowers, fruit trees, grape vines. The menu extensively tells the story of the farm and how the dishes, juice, and beer are homemade. Also, their gelato is award-winning

A top-class restaurant built right into the hillside. Probably a converted farmhouse. The beer garden is beautifully and harmoniously situated and incredibly cozy. The staff are unflappable and incredibly friendly. My pot roast was outstanding; I had it with Kaspressknödel (cheese dumplings) – a dream! We also enjoyed a complimentary amuse-bouche. The whole experience is topped off by a beer selection that is second to none. Thank you, thank you, thank you for a fantastic lunch! The Football Tourists from Röthenbach
