25/07/2026: After hearing about it from practically everyone, we headed to this gelateria in the port of Scauri. I had high expectations, and they weren't disappointed: try the basil, prickly pear, and Modica chocolate flavor. Excellent!
23/07/2026: I had a brioche with gelato and was blown away: delicious, soft, and flavorful, perfectly executed. One of the best I've had lately. And of course, the gelato was excellent: creamy, flavorful, and available in a variety of flavors, including unique ones. Bravo!

20/07/2026: We happened upon Marsciano almost by chance, and a kind secretary at a medical center recommended it to us for dinner. It's a spacious restaurant with tables indoors, under the portico, and outdoors in the large garden.
The menu features typical Umbrian specialties, along with a few unusual or predictable options. We had a delicious Cannara onion parmigiana appetizer, followed by the Perugia-style cod, exceptional in flavor and a true rarity. The lemon sorbet was decent. The house red wine was good. The service was fast and attentive, and the atmosphere was very pleasant, even though there was a large table celebrating an anniversary. The price was very fair for the excellent quality. We'll be back.

20/12/2025: I chose to return to this restaurant after a few years with my girlfriend to celebrate a special occasion. I couldn't have made a better choice.
The atmosphere was perfect, from the music at just the right volume, the lighting, the attention to detail, the impeccable service—I don't know how else to describe it—and the carefully curated and unique menu. Every dish exudes passion and attention to detail, from the freshly baked bread (delicious!) to the fantastic homemade panettone served at the end. We felt truly pampered from start to finish.
A place that will stay in your heart.
Highly recommended.

29/05/2026: I arrived by chance..the owner of the restaurant was kind and patient. However, the menu is not in English (authentic). The ravioli with truffles were excellent and so was the ricotta dessert.
The space is very aesthetic and pleasant and the view is breathtaking.
Today at 18:30 they are celebrating their 10th birthday!!
I will definitely be back..

Whether I go to relax, go on magnificent hikes, simply savor the peace and beauty of Monte Subasio, or even for a digital detox, a profound meditation retreat, or to participate in Self-Awareness Yoga classes, the experience is always exceptional.
Between the delicious cuisine prepared with local products, the warm welcome from the entire team, and the comfortable rooms, everything is in place for a stay that leaves you feeling refreshed, inspired, and grateful.

09/07/2026: We stumbled upon this modern pizzeria after finding out an old favorite nearby had closed. To be honest, pizza isn’t usually my first choice when traveling in Italy, but my companion was craving it so we gave it a shot.
The menu is extensive and accessed via QR code (though I’m still a bit old-school and miss physical menus). The staff took our order with a very direct, "no-nonsense" attitude, which was a bit of a contrast to the warm hospitality I usually experience during my trips to the Umbria Jazz Festival.
However, the food completely won me over. I ordered the radicchio and gorgonzola pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a stop for the excellent pizza alone—no regrets!

05/07/2026: A small, very charming restaurant with exceptionally friendly service! We had the octopus with pea sauce and burrata – simply fantastic, as were the wild boar ragout and the ravioli (homemade, of course).
We were thrilled and highly recommend this restaurant!

Although the restaurant is close to Assisi's main square, its secluded location on a side street allows for outdoor dining in a quiet, intimate atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowds. The dishes we ordered (risotto, stew, and pasta with zucchini and tomatoes) were tasty and served in reasonable portions. The bill was in line with the quality of the ingredients, and probably even lower than other nearby restaurants.
