07/01/2026: The space is spacious and clean. Despite the fire, there's absolutely no smell, which isn't a given. The service is exceptionally polite and fast. The meat is excellent. The platters are delicious. We were able to enjoy lunch with my furry friends, and we weren't the only ones. Despite this, I repeat, everything is very clean. Thank you.

04/01/2026: We had dinner at this lovely restaurant and had a great time. The pizzas were good and the meat was excellent. The staff was friendly, and despite the restaurant being busy, they were attentive and helpful. I recommend it to everyone!!

21/05/2026: Excellent staff, very kind, excellent service. Yesterday we ate a focaccia, even if it wasn't cooked in a wood oven, it was excellent, ham, gorgonzola and cherry tomatoes. I recommend it.

10/07/2026: The atmosphere is charming and tidy, enhanced by the large fireplace in the main room where the expert Julio cooks the meats. The service is excellent: we were welcomed immediately and seated, always prompt and attentive (the only small flaw: a few more smiles wouldn't hurt!). Let's move on to the food: we started with an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses for two, which, unfortunately, didn't wow me; they were good, but they didn't strike me as artisanal. The real highlight, and the main reason we came, however, was the meat! We ordered a T-bone (Florentine steak) for two, weighing about a kilo: perfectly cooked rare, perfectly red in the center, incredibly tender and juicy on the palate. Truly excellent! We were pleasantly surprised. Congratulations!

13/07/2026: I've been coming to the Vecchio Granaio for as long as I can remember. It's a cuisine that, along with home cooking, raised me. Here I learned to appreciate polenta, when it once was a delicious and rustic appetizer; I drank my first glass of whiskey shared with my grandfather; I bought countless polenta balls from the vending machines, always after the inevitable dessert; between a fettuccine and a plate of fries, I ran along the avenue, hopping like a cricket in the small ditch at the side of the road, which to my eyes seemed like a bottomless pit. I watched the place change and evolve, starting from family tradition to become something different, more elaborate, more "composed," but always with great attention to raw materials, pairings, and flavors. I realized something had changed during a wedding anniversary. Since I don't eat meat, which the evening's menu didn't take much into account, the kitchen was kind enough to quickly prepare me a small Margherita pizza, which still haunts me because of its deliciousness (probably the best I've ever eaten, but don't tell Grandma). Today, the restaurant has adapted to the times, with digital menus and reservations via the website (although you can still opt for more traditional methods), while the place is teeming with intrepid young people who juggle tables that aren't always easy to manage, with the typical friendliness of those who want to do things right because they care. These are changes that will never convince everyone, but it's those choices that make the difference between an ordinary restaurant and one you can't wait to return to. Once again.

24/10/2025: It's the fourth time I've been there and as far as quality and service are concerned, there's nothing to complain about, just that (at least for my pockets) I can't afford it... spending €103.00 for 4 pizzas, 2 beers, 2 desserts and 1 coffee makes me think that it has become a place suitable for people with higher incomes than mine💁‍♂️

10/06/2026: Very large terrace and menu! Excellent pizza. Very good service, reasonably priced by Swiss standards. Cool combination with the pub and the large beer selection. Highly recommended for a casual dinner – without a romantic atmosphere – even with children. Plenty of parking.

09/06/2026: A wonderful experience in this lovely place with kind and welcoming staff. The food is truly amazing! My wife and I had an excellent platter: pici with ricotta and guanciale pesto and a cheese and speck pizza. Everything was delicious. Congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻

13/07/2026: Gourmet pizza, a wide selection to suit all tastes! Kombucha is available as a drink, which isn't something you find everywhere in Italy. A lovely place to eat outdoors.

09/07/2026: We stumbled upon this modern pizzeria after finding out an old favorite nearby had closed. To be honest, pizza isn’t usually my first choice when traveling in Italy, but my companion was craving it so we gave it a shot. The menu is extensive and accessed via QR code (though I’m still a bit old-school and miss physical menus). The staff took our order with a very direct, "no-nonsense" attitude, which was a bit of a contrast to the warm hospitality I usually experience during my trips to the Umbria Jazz Festival. However, the food completely won me over. I ordered the radicchio and gorgonzola pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a stop for the excellent pizza alone—no regrets!

28/06/2026: My partner and I had dinner at this restaurant. She ordered a mixed grill with a side salad, and I ordered a 400g veal steak, cooked rare, with grilled seasonal vegetables, a half liter of white wine, a liter of still water, and to finish, she had a white truffle with whiskey cream, and I had a pistachio tiramisu! All for just €54, with a complimentary barrel-aged grappa! I will gladly return and recommend it to my friends!

22/06/2026: Now a regular stop on August 15th, the fish lunch is delicious, but if you want to be amazed, come and try the meat, which is nothing short of exceptional. The staff is welcoming, kind and very friendly.
