06/04/2024: Located in a delightful village, among the most beautiful in Italy, we entered by chance fasting and late for lunch, but we were nevertheless seated with extreme kindness and served, even though the kitchen was already closed. We ate local ham, salami and sausage, a choice of cheeses, rustic pickles, bread and excellent wine until we were satisfied. It couldn't have happened better. Highly recommended.

07/03/2024: Fantastic location overlooking the valley, interesting menu not really affordable, but worth it, I only tasted an excellent second course, braised beef that melted in your mouth, accompanied by a glass of local red. I will definitely return again for work and also tasting the first courses.
23/02/2024: Beautiful restaurant with a wonderful view of the valley and located in the central square. We ate very well, in particular a very good braised meat. I recommend it

02/01/2024: Accolti con signorile calore, ci siamo subito sentiti a nostro agio, pur entrando in un luogo elegante (tipico del ristorante stellato) che potrebbe mettere soggezione.
Una serie di entrée di grande raffinatezza e tutt’altro che banali hanno aperto le danze, per poi proiettarci in un luogo di eccellenza, con piatti presentati personalmente dal “capitano” chef Polito in persona. Il suo cappuccino è una genialata, da provare assolutamente.
E poi tutto il resto, con materie prime di super qualità.
Cibo eccellente, carta dei vini di tutto rispetto, signorilità e puntualità nel servizio.
Rapporto qualità prezzo onesto.
Mi stupisce che non ci sia la stella Michelin.

Servizio in sala inesistente, piatti al tartufo presentati malissimo e slegati di sapore e consistenza. Prezzi alti per una qualità di cibo, molto poco ricercato .

I returned with a friend for dinner after some time. Everything lived up to expectations. Raw materials at 0 km, curated wine list for all tastes (congratulations host), simple and refined cuisine at the same time, top marks. What can I say, we will be back again! Well done
31/10/2023: I returned to Montone for the Festa del Bosco and also to my favorite restaurant: a typical Osteria. Despite there being a very limited menu due to the festival, I had delicious dishes: Chianina Carpaccio and lamb, in particular. The owner, who recognized us, also offered us a great glass of Umbrian prosecco. Thank you.

01/11/2023: Il locale è carino ma il servizio pessimo. Abbiamo aspettato circa un’ora per l’arrivo dei primi. Una delusione, porzioni mignon per un prezzo maxi. Vista le porzioni e il prezzo abbiamo deciso di saltare il secondo e passare al dolce. Altri 30 minuti di attesa solo per ordinare. Dopo una ulteriore attesa ci vediamo costretti a richiamare l’attenzione del cameriere, arriva e ci dice che i dolci richiesti sono finiti. Che delusione! Ne ordiniamo altri che mangiamo ormai stufi di stare seduti lì da circa tre ore solo per un primo e un dolce. Al momento del conto , sproporzionato a quanto consumato, ci rendiamo conto che proprio non è all’altezza delle aspettative che propina il sito. Non consigliato assolutamente!

22/10/2023: Great cafe in the square, aperitivo served with all the trimmings and delicious thin crust pizzas. Highly recommend when you visit this beautiful village.
