05/07/2026: A very nice and quiet place, with meticulously prepared, high-quality dishes. The meat is exceptional, definitely worth trying. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, it definitely deserves five stars. We'll definitely be back!

30/06/2026: We went to Il Coccorone for lunch on a Tuesday. The restaurant was empty and were denied access to the restaurant claiming that it was all booked. Clearly we were not dressed the part and were refused access to the restaurant. Extremely disappointing and frustrating.

21/05/2026: The restaurant is a pleasant and intimate place to enjoy excellent dishes at your leisure. From the first to the second courses, everything is fabulous, with just the right aromas to appreciate the meats and create the perfect fragrance to take you back in time. Expert hands create the fresh pasta, which you slowly savor with a white wild boar ragù sauce, or the Sagrantino gnocchi with crispy bacon. And for the second courses, even better: the wild boar stew, cooked to perfection, with a fragrance that sparks the imagination... the chicken and quail are fantastic. The desserts are perfect, and the coffee is a dream.

26/07/2026: We've known this restaurant since 2019, and every time we're in Montefalco, we make a point of stopping here. Every time we visit, we find exactly the same warm welcome and consistently high-quality dishes, always prepared with great care. Honorable mention also goes to the excellent and refined wine selection. It's always a real pleasure to return to a place where you feel so good. Highly recommended!

03/06/2026: Beautiful setting and presentation, polite if also calculated service, and food that was visually refined but tasted unremarkable and bland. The truly strange moment of the visit, however, involved the olive oil. Rather than being available at the table, it was waiter-served in tiny quantities. After receiving only a few drops each, we asked for more and were flatly told this was not possible! He then seriously invited us to an olive oil tasting instead, wow, adding insult to injury... Only after the next table received their own carefully rationed spoonfuls around ten minutes later did the waiter return and offer us more as well — perhaps realizing that olive oil in Italy should not feel like access to a rare controlled substance. Complete fail and auto sabotage for a supposedly high end, certainly high priced place as theirs! Altogether, it felt like a place prioritizing style, ceremony, and formality over substance, generosity, and heart.

13/07/2026: A very popular place, excellent, but perhaps I was expecting something more. The atmosphere is rustic, but perhaps it lacks a bit of identity and character. The appetizer buffet is very good, perhaps one of the best, although the wait can be quite long. The gnocchi al vino were truly worth it; the rest of the first and second courses were good but not exceptional. Overall, though, the first courses beat the second courses. The desserts are forgettable. €47 per person with a full menu and a few bottles of wine (for a group).

30/06/2026: We dined here and we were quite disappointed, especially for the quality/price. We spent quite a lot, over 20 euro per person, with one wine and two plates. Food was warmed, not prepared fresh. We had gnocchi with the Snagrantino sauce and the sauce was really tasty but it was only one good thing in our dinner (plus wine, amazing!). The gnocchi were basic, hard-softy in one piece, not special. I know what I say we make them ourselves and eat them often. Then the big vegetarian plate was misunderstanding - only after the dinner we saw that they just warned the veggies cooked before - it was not really preparing them from the oven. They were tasteless, not much olive oil or any spices or invention added. Just sad dish, quite costy. Then overall ambience nice, waiter doing his best.

10/05/2026: Very nice place, good food, and friendly staff. We ate very well, highly recommended. We ordered the menu with two starters and a grilled meat for €23, then added wine, dessert, and coffee, for a final bill of €66 for two. Aside from the price, we really liked the atmosphere. We'll be back!

30/04/2026: I went to Falisco for dinner, a warm and friendly atmosphere. Sergio was spectacular with his grills, and Sabina, what can I say, was a fantastic cook. Everything was delicious and had a traditional flavor. Excellent, I highly recommend it.

02/05/2026: OLEVM was a truly pleasant discovery. Attentive and friendly service, a refined and relaxing atmosphere. The fillet steak in Sagrantino was excellent, but a special mention goes to the desserts: the blond chocolate plum cake is spectacular, absolutely worth trying. A place I would gladly return to.

25/07/2026: We were always served with a big friendly smile. The atmosphere was great. I loved the outdoor seating at the street. Food was also great. We had the tomato pasta and the the beef tailgata. Delicious.

12/07/2026: Based on the reviews, we had lunch here. We had a great time. The waitress was friendly and cheerful, and the food was delicious. The price wasn't bad compared to other restaurants, either. Highly recommended.

12/07/2026: Avoid like the plauge.... This establishment opens at 7:30 on Sunday. Please update your Google hours, people depend on them being correct. -- It gets better. When I asked what time they opened at 5 (as stated on their google account), they said 7:30, but failed to mention they were fully booked until I returned at 7:30.

03/07/2026: A relaxed and wonderful experience. The food is top-quality, produced by the owner, Guglielmo, using his own in-house supply chain. He has his own Sienese pigs, guinea fowl, quail, and chickens, from which he gets excellent eggs, cured meats, and other meats. His wife, Sara, cooks everything impeccably and deliciously. She makes the pasta herself, using a truly expert blend of ancient grains and cooked al dente. A must-try. My wife absolutely loved the homemade desserts.

07/06/2026: I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed staying at the Agriturismo last month as a part of a Road Scholar program. It was charming and the host family was so hospitable and friendly ( I was able to speak my beginner Italian with them). The meals were terrific and with a very short, scenic walk to the wonderful village of Montefalco I felt we were in a hidden gem. I’d like to think I’d return here someday.

14/06/2026: We visited Hype in Montefalco for an evening aperitivo, and the experience truly exceeded our expectations. The venue has a modern and refined atmosphere, perfect for both an evening with friends and a more relaxed after-dinner drink. We tried a few cocktails, and they were simply excellent: balanced, creative, and prepared with great attention to detail. The bartender's expert touch is immediately apparent, as he knows how to recommend the perfect drink based on your tastes, making each drink a little "journey" of flavors. The service was friendly and helpful, never intrusive but always attentive. The ambiance also greatly contributes to the experience: well-chosen music, perfect lighting, and a relaxed atmosphere that encourages you to stay longer than expected. Overall, it's a place we absolutely recommend if you're in Montefalco: it's not your average bar, but a true cocktail lab where quality and passion shine through in every detail. We'll definitely be back.
