06/05/2026: We stayed here on May 1st, 6 adults and 2 little girls. The place is surrounded by the green Umbrian hills, with a fantastic view. Excellent hospitality, the young and polite staff met our every need, even with two little girls who weren't particularly keen on sitting down! Excellent local food, presented in a modern style! Well done, especially Tommaso, if I remember correctly!

12/02/2026: We happened upon it by chance, and despite the late hour, the very kind Mr. Claudio welcomed us and immediately won us over with his professionalism and profound knowledge of the world of truffles. The dinner was excellent, a truly wonderful experience! Thank you, we'll be back.
07/02/2026: Exceptional! 5 stars! Everything was delicious, the staff was very friendly.
I recommend it to all truffle lovers.

07/06/2026: The Florentine steak was good, as were the gnocchi with Sagrantino wine and the truffle carbonara. The pizza was also good. Three stars for the service, which wasn't particularly attentive, but we went on a Saturday night; the place was packed, and perhaps that was why they were in a bit of a rush.
02/06/2026: We went here at the recommendation of the owner of the farmhouse where we were staying. What can I say? The food was divine, so much so that we repeated the dinner the following day, and it completely met our expectations the second time, too. The staff is also really friendly. I highly recommend the place, and when we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

We arrived without a reservation, but the staff was immediately super helpful and friendly, finding us a table in no time. The food was truly excellent. Special thanks to the waiter: very kind, friendly, and very professional. We really had a great time. I absolutely recommend this restaurant!

La Trattoria

11/06/2026: We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend, also trusting the excellent reviews, but unfortunately, the experience was terrible.
The problems began immediately with accessibility: the restaurant is completely inconvenient for strollers (there are no ramps or dedicated entrances, a serious architectural barrier even for wheelchair users), and the bathroom lacks a changing table. In 2026, I find this unacceptable.
Even though I had specified in my reservation that we were bringing a baby—hoping for an inside table with air conditioning—they seated us outside. The outside, covered in plastic tarps, created an unbearable heat, without even a fan to cool us down. To top it all off, we had to wait 20 minutes in the heat just for water.
The food: the appetizer was mediocre (commercial cured meats and bruschetta with clearly packaged pâté; the only redeeming feature was the cheese). The first courses were completely tasteless, and the strangozzi were a sticky mess, with the consistency of industrial-strength fresh pasta from the supermarket. The second courses were also a sore point: while the sea bream was acceptable, the mixed grill was awful, overcooked and charred. The only positive aspect of the meal was the tiramisu.
The service: distracted and inattentive. Despite asking to share dishes, we had to ask several times for clean plates. No one offered us grated cheese for the first courses, forcing us to ask for it.
The final bill was decidedly disproportionate for the quality offered. We had high expectations, but we definitely won't be returning.

14/06/2025: Se il buongiorno si vede dal mattino… non ero mai stato in Umbria e ho avuto la grande fortuna di trovare un posto come questo, dove la gentilezza la qualità dei prodotti e l’accoglienza di sicuro non sono mancati… Colazione strepitosa con torte fatte in casa… e tanta cortesia… ho letto recensioni che si lamentano della strada! Non riesco a capirlo, abitando in Piemonte per noi le strade così sono uno standard… ringrazio lo staff per l’ospitalità e non vedo l’ora di ritornarci… Grazie davvero ce ne vorrebbero tanti di ristoranti così…🧡🧡🧡🧡

Le Fontanelle

22/11/2024: In vacanza in zona mi viene consigliato il ristorante Fontanelle, mai scelta fu più azzeccata, arrivo verso le 12.00 e chiedo se era possibile mangiare, ci dicono di sì ma che è presto, comunque ci accompagnano al tavolo e che avremmo dovuto aspettare un pochino, essendo in vacanza e non avendo fretta rispondo di non preoccuparsi, si ripresenta dopo 10 minuti con due bruschette per ingannare l'attesa ( pensiero gentilissimo ed apprezzato) poi arriva il figlio Alessandro che ci consegna i menù e prende l'ordine, sentendomi non apprezzare il tartufo ed essendo lui un cercatore di tartufi, ci spiega bene cosa sono i tartufi (confesso la mia ignoranza in materia) e ritorna dopo poco con due bruschettine con crema di tartufi, lo ringrazio ma gli ripeto sia io che mia moglie non apprezziamo il tartufo... alla fine con un pò di insistenza mi riesce a far assaggiare la bruschetta wow buonissima, mi sarei preso a sberle da solo per le volte che ho snobbato il tartufo. Proseguiamo con fettuccine in bianco al ragù di chianina (eccezionali fatte in casa) e tagliata al rosmarino con patatine fritte, sublimi. Che dire ho prenotato anche per il pranzo di domani, sapori autentici portati avanti con sapienza. Ho comprato anche l'olio e una boccia di vino.
Consigliatissimo e se posso ci ritornerò con i miei amici.

21/04/2025: Tutto sempre impeccabile! Siamo tornati anche quest’anno per festeggiare la Pasqua in famiglia… e come si mangia bene qui! Ci si sente davvero come a casa, grazie al personale caloroso e gentilissimo. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo? Ottimo! Buona Pasqua a tutti… e se non ci siete ancora stati, correte a provarlo
