Crescie, first and second courses (all very good), excellent wines and liqueurs, but the difference is the service: the guys are really good and decidedly friendly. ❤️

Giuliano is truly the best: helpful, fast, always smiling, affable, and very professional. Recommended for aperitifs or casual dinners. Their signature dish is the Crescia Umbra, which can be filled in a variety of ways, but they also serve platters, bruschetta, meatballs, and fresh homemade pasta. A charming place in the center of Spello.

A truly charming spot in Spello for a terrace lunch! We highly recommend the delicious Crescia con Porchetta, but the Caprese di Bufala, Strangozzi alla Spoletina, and the tender Tagliata are also excellent choices. Excellent local Umbrian wines and beers are also available. The service is fast, friendly, attentive, and enthusiastic: a splendid demonstration of local hospitality!

Today we happened upon this little place with excellent local products, spectacular torta al testo, super friendly guy who gave us lots of tips for our next few days of vacation in Umbria, if you are looking for a quick aperitif or something more at a reasonable price, I highly recommend it.

15/06/2026: Hoping it was simply a bad day, unfortunately our experience wasn't the best. The restaurant is objectively very beautiful, especially the outdoor area, which we particularly appreciated. The service, in our opinion, could also have been more attentive: a small tip is to write down customers' requests or questions, as it can help avoid forgetfulness and ensure a better experience. Regarding the food, the first courses seemed rather bland and flavorless, especially the truffle one, from which we expected something more, especially considering the price. The second courses were good and well-executed, but they didn't leave a lasting impression. Having only drank water and Coke, we would have expected a lower price. That said, the restaurant was full and many customers seemed satisfied, so our experience was probably not representative of the norm. However, based on what we experienced, we wouldn't recommend it with the same enthusiasm as ours.
