03/05/2025: We had dinner at Trattoria Margherita yesterday evening, May 2, 2025, for the first time and after a long vacation, encouraged by the excellent reviews that we fully confirm. We were welcomed in a professional and warm manner, a quality that accompanied our entire dinner. The quality of the food is decidedly high, the typical dishes of Umbrian cuisine find their best expression in this trattoria, which therefore fully deserves our five stars. We ended our trip around central-southern Italy with a bang. Thank you and see you soon!!!

11/05/2025: An excellent dinner in this restaurant, a little hidden but with delicious traditional dishes and great quality of products. Inside you will find a large room furnished with care and also a garden for the warm season. The service is very effective and the staff are very friendly and discreet. The accurate description of the suggested wines was also greatly appreciated. In summary we were very satisfied with the quality of the dishes chosen.

23/04/2025: 1 star – A nightmare dinner: when the taste is not enough to save the disservice If you want to spend an evening looking at nothing and waiting like in a waiting room, this is the right place. We sit and wait 50 minutes to order. The waiter apologizes, promises to make up for it... but everything makes everything worse. After the appetizer, we remain another 60 minutes with empty plates in front of us, completely ignored. Shall we ask for water? No response. Absent, disorganized, distracted staff. After the first courses, tired of waiting and annoyed by the treatment, we get up and go to pay directly at the cash register. The lady, impassive, pretends nothing has happened and is even surprised that we didn't have dessert or coffee. No apologies, no attempts to make amends. The dishes are good, but it's not enough when you are treated with this sloppiness. The service ruined everything. Any advice? Avoid it. The Temple of Taste may be a "temple", but certainly not of respect for the customer.

17/05/2025: Situato nel centro storico di Spoleto a pochi passi dal Duomo, abbiamo pranzato molto bene . Ottimi i primi piatti cucinati molto bene e con una qualità delle materie prime eccellenti, soprattutto la zuppa di legumi e i sughi. Per secondo abbiamo fatto un assaggio di tutti i contorni a base di verdure e delle ottime patate al forno. Buono il rapporto qualità/ prezzo. Gentile e garbata la signora che ci ha serviti.

03/05/2025: I usually never review, but I can't help but do so for this wonderful Osteria. The owner who also follows you to the tables is friendly, always available and with a smile. The food is amazing, if I had known about it on the first day I would have gone there every evening. I ate the strangozzi with truffles, how delicious, and my daughter ate her grandmother's meatballs, delicious, we finished with the Crescenda alla Spolentina, a typical dessert, I who don't like amaretti, savored it with great pleasure. For those who like it, it's very well made. I recommend booking.

28/04/2025: We went to this place for dinner after reading some reviews. The place is very basic but like the trattorias of the past, the ones where you ate the dish of the day and the staff treat you like family. Here you don't have to ask for the menu but rely on the staff who will tell you what you can taste. The dishes are simple, homemade, tasty and plentiful. The homemade pasta and the typical Spoleto dessert with amaretti biscuits and chocolate are especially delicious. The prices are really honest. For a first course, second course with side dish and dessert, wine and water, we spent 25 euros per person. Excellent experience if you don't have too many expectations but like a simple, no-frills environment

They recommended this restaurant to us for dinner and I would say that both I and my entire family were very happy. Well-prepared typical dishes, quality raw materials and the kindness of the owner left us with a wonderful memory. Highly recommended
