21/05/2026: We went for lunch on Saturday. I booked through TheFork. The restaurant is located along the road but has parking right next door (it might be harder to find in the evening for dinner). The restaurant is clearly laid out in the style of a village tavern, which I personally found quite appealing. Rustic yet down-to-earth, it makes you feel at home. The waiter and owner are very attentive, both in welcoming you and quickly taking orders. Excellent wine list and fairly varied menu. If the place is busy, there may be some traffic from other tables, but you can still chat at your table. We ordered a first course, a second course, and coffee. The quality and portions of the dishes were truly excellent. They even offered us a complimentary amaro, bringing several bottles of their own homemade amaro directly to our table (which is appreciated, as this custom has become obsolete in restaurants). We spent €100 for two. A fair price considering you eat well, a lot, and you can taste the care and authenticity of the ingredients and cuisine. We will definitely be back.

30/06/2026: The hospitality is like being welcomed by a family member! The atmosphere is homely and the food is exquisite! You can taste it in both the presentation and the flavor, as it's cooked with love and passion! Everything was excellent, from the appetizers to the digestifs (also homemade). The rice, potatoes, and mussels were one of the best I've ever had, and the roasted mussels were delicious. Good value for money. We'll be back when we're passing through!

13/07/2026: I've been coming to the Vecchio Granaio for as long as I can remember. It's a cuisine that, along with home cooking, raised me. Here I learned to appreciate polenta, when it once was a delicious and rustic appetizer; I drank my first glass of whiskey shared with my grandfather; I bought countless polenta balls from the vending machines, always after the inevitable dessert; between a fettuccine and a plate of fries, I ran along the avenue, hopping like a cricket in the small ditch at the side of the road, which to my eyes seemed like a bottomless pit. I watched the place change and evolve, starting from family tradition to become something different, more elaborate, more "composed," but always with great attention to raw materials, pairings, and flavors. I realized something had changed during a wedding anniversary. Since I don't eat meat, which the evening's menu didn't take much into account, the kitchen was kind enough to quickly prepare me a small Margherita pizza, which still haunts me because of its deliciousness (probably the best I've ever eaten, but don't tell Grandma). Today, the restaurant has adapted to the times, with digital menus and reservations via the website (although you can still opt for more traditional methods), while the place is teeming with intrepid young people who juggle tables that aren't always easy to manage, with the typical friendliness of those who want to do things right because they care. These are changes that will never convince everyone, but it's those choices that make the difference between an ordinary restaurant and one you can't wait to return to. Once again.

01/08/2026: A spacious, bright, and clean restaurant with outdoor dining options. Suitable for lunch breaks and families. We were served professionally and kindly. The portions were generous and the prices were fair; in fact, I'd say it's hard to find a menu like this these days. Ample and convenient parking.

30/07/2026: The place to be for pasta! Our table ordered the Pasta Carbonara with Truffle, Carbonara Original, and the gnocchi... everything was equally delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the pancetta was delicious, and the truffle was generously grated over the dishes. With Parmesan on the table, the dish was complete! Including drinks, we spent 40 euros.

25/03/2026: A small restaurant where the attention to detail and the dishes immerse us in a refined and simple experience. Raw fish, carefully selected meats, and delicious, carefully crafted and presented pairings are always fresh. The service is always precise and punctual. The wines are carefully selected, from Champagne to Italian sparkling wines, from whites to reds, and not just regional ones.

28/03/2026: Fresh, delicious products. The desserts are special! I ordered birthday cakes for my children and they were delicious, with top-notch decorations!!! Definitely worth a try.

04/08/2026: Located in the Umbrian hills. Wonderful dinners featuring abundant local produce. The rooms are very spacious and air conditioned. The pool is a real treat. Ideal for those who want to unwind for a couple of days.

19/04/2026: Terrible cocktails! Hugo Spritz was terribly prepared, with lots of lemon juice and not even elderflower syrup. The result? It tastes like lemonade... Sex on the Beach tastes only of alcohol, like drinking a glass of vodka (same taste). Definitely avoid the cocktail... a soft drink is better. The only saving grace is the service, a very kind guy. I'm not arguing about the prices, but they're a bit high...

12/04/2026: At the end of our bike ride, we stopped for lunch here. They served us an excellent, beautifully presented, deconstructed burger. The mini dessert we sampled was also delicious. Interesting menu. Fair prices. Very friendly staff.

29/04/2026: Came here with my wife. We are from the states and speak very little Italian. Despite the language barrier, we felt very welcomed. The owner and girl working with him were very kind. The Kebab was very very good, my wife is from Palestine and she gave it her seal of approval! Thank you for the wonderful food and experience 🙏🏼
