13/08/2024: While looking for a vegetarian place we found Floyd who is also vegetarian. It was a fantastic find. The courses are top both for the ingredients and for the loving preparation and in addition the welcome is such that you immediately feel like you are in the house of old friends.

02/12/2024: Absolutamente fantástico - no te pierdas si estás en Asís durante unas horas o más! Personal cálido y acogedor! La comida es excepcional y se sirve con pan caliente, incluyendo gluten libre para aquellos como yo con alergia. El propietario comparte una revisión de 5 minutos de la historia del edificio y la zona, en voz alta y con vídeo, a todos los clientes a la vez! No puedo decir suficiente sobre la maravillosa experiencia general! ¡Grazie Mille Il Baccanale!

18/11/2024: Siamo andati a cena in 4, di cui un'amica celiaca, in quanto ristorante certificato. Iniziamo con le ordinazioni, il cameriere sbaglia subito, ordina celiaco per tutti nonostante avessimo specificato 2 piatti per celiaci e 2 no, ma va beh, portano l'antipasto, da menù vi era scritto con salse, le quali ci vengono portate 20 minuti dopo averci consegnato il piatto, ormai avevamo finito di consumare. Durante l'ordinazione abbiam chiesto di dividere dei piatti a metà per poter assaggiare più portate, nessun problema ci viene detto, difatti è stato così, ma scopriamo solo alla fine che ci è stato aggiunto 1€ per ogni piatto diviso a metà, assurdo, o per lo meno specificatelo. Menù diverso da quello pubblicato online, antipasto e primi piatti buoni, la porchetta con cipolle caramellate, molto "umida" la cotenna (generalmente croccante) era decisamente gommosa. Al tavolo a fianco il nostro ( una copia) è stato portato l'olio nuovo da assaggiare nei piattini già presenti sul tavolo, i nostri son rimasti vuoti fino alla fine della cena. Bella la spiegazione della location com'era nel passato e com'è oggi, ma essendo un ristorante "blasonato", mi sarei aspettato un servizio e una qualità superiore delle portate, siamo usciti piuttosto delusi, non lo consiglieremo e non ci torneremo.

11/08/2024: I stayed with my family in this hotel for 5 days. I underline the availability and kindness of the director and staff. The swimming pool is very nice and clean. Breakfast also varies. The location of the hotel is unique because in a short time you can reach all the places you want to visit. The stay was certainly positive 👍👍

10/08/2024: Clean and welcoming room, very comfortable double bed because it is made up of two spring mattresses but of excellent workmanship, possibility of using 4 pillows that are neither too hard nor too soft so ok. TV, minibar and safe as well as hairdryer. Spacious shower. Very courteous staff and helpfulness towards the customer both in providing information with the delivery of a map of Assisi and in giving targeted advice on how to visit Assisi in the best possible way. Recommended.. we will be back!!!! The location is crucial for those who want a place with a hotel, swimming pool, wellness center and restaurant 1 km from Assisi.

24/08/2024: By far our favorite meal in Umbria. Friendly service, outstanding food, and beautiful wine. We were lucky enough to sit on the balcony and had the most spectacular view. Panicale is also such a perfectly quaint town to explore. Highly recommend!!

14/08/2024: Ristorante con menù degustazione molto ricco ed abbondante, anche troppo. Le pietanze sono di buona qualità, i sapori sono quelli tipici della cucina umbra, tartufo incluso. La carne è cotta alla brace. Il rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo è sicuramente positivo. Situato in una zona panoramica, tra gli olivi.

07/08/2024: Una super cena a base di piatti tipici uno più buono dell'altro, in particolare quelli cotti nel forno a legna; il tutto condito dell'accoglienza del titolare.

16/11/2024: We were taken here by friends for dinner. Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior this place is outstanding. A really well procured menu with local ingredients, an extensive wine list and solid cocktail list make for a great night out. I started with the carpaccio which was not only delicious, but a large portion. That followed with the beef cheeks which melted in my mouth. Every mouthful of food was delicious. I can also recommend the Negronis as an aperitivo. Add to that friendly attentive service. If your in the area pay this place a visit as you won't be disappointed.

08/11/2024: We had breakfast at the bar. Friendly staff, good croissants. I would recommend a few more pastas during holiday weekends. For dinner it is advisable to book in advance.

03/08/2024: After a very disappointing evening due to issues external to the restaurant we found refreshment and happiness in this place. The staff was nothing short of kind and attentive enough to seat us at 10.30pm and serve us even though the place had to close at 11pm. Super friendly and nice dining room staff. Highly approved place. King Tartu and "the Round Table" super approved

26/08/2024: Andata e Ritorno vacanze con sosta a metà strada in questo splendido posto, lontano dai casini tranquillo immerso nell'ombra con piscina e camere spazione a comodo. Andata e ritorno stessa camera, tutto bene tranne qualche appunto, il condizionatore mandava poca aria fredda ma tollerabile in ogni caso speriamo sistemino, punto non sistemabile....la camera presa è sopra la cucina...era come avere il riscaldamento a pavimento....ad Agosto. All'andata la cena poco goduta, sembrava di essere in crociera, il buffet iniziale degli antipasti assalito peggio che Fantozzi....ansia da prestazione? MAH! E tanto rumore. Al ritorno causa maltempo abbiamo cenato dentro e temevo il peggio.....invece per fortuna gente tranquilla.....e antipasti primi e secondi con dolce goduti per bene e annaffiati dall'Ottimo Sagrantino. Presenza di Giorgione meno fugace dell'andata, i figli sono veramente ottime persone, sempre disponibili nonostante l'impegno non indifferente. I ragazzi al servizio direi bene e quest'anno anche la colazione buona . Cari saluti laidi e corrotti

07/07/2024: Excellent place to eat and have an Italian wine. The little tables on the stairs are super cute and very original. Super recommended if you are in Assisi.

27/06/2024: This small and intimate shop featured excellent wines and an expert to inform you about them. You can sit inside with air condition or select a table outside with a lovely view of Assisi walkways. The owner is personable and makes you feel special. You can get a flight of wines for tasting, or select a wine and and order the best cheeses or meats from the region to go with it. A wonderful way to pass the afternoon with friends.

14/08/2024: My girlfriend and I went to this nice restaurant during our weekend in Spoleto. The outdoor location is very beautiful, in fact it overlooks a small balcony from which you could enjoy the sunset and a beautiful view of the city. The staff immediately proved friendly and welcoming. We ordered a platter of local cured meats and cheeses, some delicious local sausages and one of their local pastas, strangozzi alla spoletina, seasoned with chilli garlic and chopped tomatoes, very tasty and strong. Finally we ordered two desserts: their typical chocolate cake and a puff pastry covered in hot cream and berries. It was all delicious and fresh topped off with a pleasant view. I would give some advice: when bringing the cold cuts platter, I would describe the cured meats brought and their history so as to make you appreciate the local traditions even more. If you are looking for a traditional restaurant with a touch of elegance this restaurant is the right place.
