16/07/2026: Good restaurant, delicious food, friendly waiters and reasonable prices.
However, the relatively modern design harms the atmosphere and the feeling of the diners, especially the entrance to the restaurant which looks more like a cafeteria than a serious restaurant that respects the food and its guests.
It is recommended to ask to dine in the historic interior rooms.
15/07/2026: The staff were friendly and helpful; the waiter who served us even showed us around the rooms, each one more beautiful than the others, practically a museum, and one of the four oldest restaurants in Umbria. We ate divinely, the service was impeccable, and they were truly kind to our 6-year-old son. The price was reasonable. A well-rounded experience if you're passing through Norcia or the surrounding area. Highly recommended.

12/05/2026: Beautiful property just outside Norcia. You can enjoy a beautiful view.
A classic Umbrian farmhouse.
The restaurant is also open to outsiders.
The food is excellent. Traditional Norcia dishes.
I will definitely return. I recommend this property.

21/05/2026: Excellent staff, very kind, excellent service. Yesterday we ate a focaccia, even if it wasn't cooked in a wood oven, it was excellent, ham, gorgonzola and cherry tomatoes. I recommend it.

25/07/2026: A quiet and relaxed place. Excellent for those looking for a menu that's different from the typical Norcia taverns, ranging from sandwiches to salads. The guy at the cash register is very kind and helpful.

03/06/2026: We had lunch at Mamma Ida's on Saturday, May 30th. The food was really good: gnocchi with ricotta and sausage, lentil soup, and a cheese appetizer. Everything was good and plentiful, except for the cheeses, which were a bit pricey for the portion. For dessert, a ricotta, lentil, and chocolate tart was truly excellent. The view of the entire landscape was beautiful, but it was a shame the flowers hadn't started to bloom yet.

06/06/2026: A traditional and well-stocked delicatessen. The owner is very friendly and helpful, always ready to offer the best recommendations. The excellent formula allows you to sample the quality of the products on site with generous mixed platters and then purchase your favorite directly at the counter. Highly recommended!

20/06/2026: A beautiful property with stunning mountain views and friendly owners. We especially appreciated being able to reach Norcia with just a short walk, without needing a car. There are a few minor things that could be improved. For example, the room was quite small and lacked sufficient storage space, which could easily have been added. Two metal bistro tables outside the room quickly become uncomfortable. Cushions would have been nice to make sitting there more pleasant during the day. More common areas on the grounds would also have been welcome.
Unfortunately, the rooms are very noisy; you can easily hear the neighbors and especially the television, which can be unpleasant depending on the neighbors and the program being watched.
01/06/2026: We stayed one night, with our motorcycle in tow. The room was neat and clean. The place was very well-maintained. We had dinner at the attached restaurant, and the food was delicious. Breakfast in the morning was a real surprise. Generous, with sweet and savory options and local ingredients.
The owners were kind and welcoming.

The welcoming atmosphere is divided into an indoor and outdoor section, making the service suitable for both winter and summer.
The view of the flower fields, which are colorful from mid-June to early July, is also special.
Definitely a place to remember!

29/06/2026: The quality-price ratio is very good, unfortunately we had gone to this place for the large selection of typical local dishes, seated at the table we were given a menu with 1/5 of the dishes displayed outside the restaurant, a real shame because they were all good dishes but very simple and lacking in identity.

26/10/2025: Breathtaking views of the Castelluccio plain. During our stay, we even enjoyed some snow on the summits of some of the mountains. A traditional dinner and a hearty breakfast were served. The price was reasonable, considering the warm welcome, the room, and the location.
