05/04/2026: The waiter, in his 60s, was extremely rude. First he asked me "how are you?" I replied "so-so," and he simply said "so-so," and then he said "sorry, why?" As for the food, one of the two starters was mediocre, and the other with truffle was completely tasteless (we had to add salt to the pasta ourselves, even though we don't eat salty food at all). Highly recommended.

01/10/2025: With these local ingredients and scenery, it would difficult to create an unpleasant dining experience, and yet this place manages it. There is plenty of choice in Spello, go elsewhere (think the owner has confused us with someone else - we tried to eat)

16/03/2026: On March 1, 2026, we stopped for a bite to eat at this charming downtown restaurant with six friends. We had aperitifs, excellent wine with arrosticini, and salads. The quality-price ratio was excellent. Highly recommended.

03/01/2026: We came here for a small aperitif with arrosticini. I'm celiac, and the service and attention were superb! Gluten-free bread to accompany the arrosticini. And very good wine!

03/07/2026: Oh well, what can I say...good things come in small packages... A homey and very simple place, but the ingredients and dishes are the heart of the place: authentic Umbrian cuisine, simple yet bold and flavorful!

30/06/2026: We ordered the osteria's set menu. The appetizer was generous, and for the main courses, strangozzi alla norcina and tagliatelle with white ragù. I must say everything was excellent, including the quality of the ingredients—the best cured meats I've tasted so far. We'll definitely be back.

05/01/2026: A small trattoria in the center of Spello: we stumbled upon it by chance, but we really enjoyed it! Excellent cuisine, traditional and authentic dishes made with local ingredients! The place is small, but very well-kept and welcoming; the owner is very kind, even recommending traditional dishes! Highly recommended...we'll definitely be back!

23/05/2026: If you are visiting Spello I recommend going to eat at Taverna San Silvestro in Collepino, excellent food, very nice place, very friendly staff, more than good price, I recommend it 100%.

07/07/2026: I had dinner at this restaurant with my family. I've known this place for many years, and it's always been very beautiful and welcoming. With the new management, I expected a different atmosphere, but initially the service and food seemed promising. Unfortunately, as we continued with the dinner, my impression changed. In my opinion, the prices aren't commensurate with the quality and portions of the dishes. Furthermore, the next day, two people at our table weren't well. It can happen, and I don't want to jump to conclusions, but it's something I feel is worth mentioning. The thing that left me most speechless, however, was the comment on the receipt. We'd simply asked for two cuts of meat, one of which was slightly overdone—a completely normal request. Finding a note like that on the receipt was unprofessional and decidedly out of place. It's a shame, because the place is worth it, but an experience like that really leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

01/06/2026: The vacation got off to a somewhat bumpy start: Although a rate with a 24-hour cancellation option was booked, it was rejected by a certain "Massimo." Massimo's unprofessionalism was blatant. Our manager refrained from further discussion to ensure a smoother, more continuation of our stay. Upon arrival, we were shown a dark room, almost like a broom closet. This room was unacceptable, even for a 3-star hotel. This wasn't apparent from the online photos. However, the very helpful receptionist allowed us to view three other rooms, one of which we then moved to. The beautiful location is unfortunately overshadowed by the worn-out interior. On the positive side, the service was friendly, and the cleaning staff were diligent. The staff, including those in the restaurant, were consistently very attentive and friendly. The impression is one of a lack of investment and inadequate management by the Garibaldi Group. We will avoid this hotel in the future. The food in the restaurant wasn't bad, but it was below average for Italian quality. The two pools, however, were clean and refreshing. A somewhat neglected but basically nice destination for vacationers who don't expect too much luxury.

25/05/2026: Quiet! Relaxing! Centrally located! Two pools! Breakfast and dinner were quite good! Some staff members only spoke one language! But everyone was extremely friendly and concerned about the well-being of their guests. A few minor drawbacks in the bathroom.
