12/10/2025: One of the few dining options for hotel guests. The service and food are decent. While the view isn't particularly impressive, the quiet atmosphere is pleasant. However, when groups of tourists, especially Chinese tourists, flock here, the atmosphere becomes more like a market.
05/09/2025: The burger I had was excellent and the craft Blue beer was the best I’ve had in the area. Would definitely recommend this place

07/01/2026: Excellent restaurant. We had fettuccine with game ragù, fettuccine with mushrooms, and sausage with polenta to share. The atmosphere was great, typical of the area and quiet. Good service, and the dishes arrived promptly. The cream cheese with bread was delicious. The price was average for the place.
06/01/2026: A traditional restaurant located outside the center of Dobbiaco, easily accessible and immersed in a peaceful setting.
Inside, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, in perfect South Tyrolean style.
The traditional dishes are prepared with top-quality ingredients.
We enjoyed an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses and homemade fettuccine, truly excellent, finishing with a blueberry fritter with cream, simply exceptional.
Impeccable, fast, and attentive service.
Highly recommended.

14/10/2025: I simply couldn't find anything to complain about! Nice rooms with balconies, excellent food, and lovely sunbathing lawns right by the lake. The service was also top-notch, and we were able to store our bikes. We'll be back.
12/10/2025: We've been coming here for at least 12 years, and it's always good. The food and drinks are excellent, and the beautiful terrace basks in the sun for a long time. Highly recommended 👌👍👍

20/10/2025: The dumplings (mushrooms, cheese, spinach, so vegetarian?) were served on a coleslaw. Unfortunately, it was a bacon coleslaw, which wasn't clear on the menu. It should have been described better.
The Schlutzkrapfen were unfortunately not as tasty as they were a year ago...

Beautiful place with great wine and friendly service! 🍷
The Kastelaz cellar is beautifully situated among the vineyards – the view is simply fantastic! 🌿
The staff is super friendly and the wine is truly excellent.
The only small drawback: parking is a bit difficult, so you might have to park a bit further away and walk a bit. But the trip is worth it – if only for the view and the atmosphere. 🌞
