24/08/2025: Stay away from this place run by an incompetent person. I stopped for a typical South Tyrolean dish, added a quarter of a carafe of wine, and a carafe of still tap water. The final surprise on the bill: I was charged a monstrous €2.50 for water. I expressed my disappointment, and at one point the manager told me he pays for the water 😳 unbelievable. Not to mention the wine, which wasn't a Merlot at all as advertised, but a thin carton of wine. I also paid €3.50 for this. Guys, we're in the mountains on a farm, not a Michelin-starred restaurant. I absolutely don't recommend it.

23/08/2025: We went up for a snack with the kids. It's a wonderful place; tranquility and peace are the key words. The desserts are delicious, and the service is fast and friendly. The cheeses they sell are also excellent. It's a 15-minute walk away, even with strollers. You'll see cows and horses along the way.

13/11/2025: The spaghetti alla carbonara turned out to be spaghetti with cream and cooked bacon. This dish should definitely not be advertised as carbonara. The wild boar pasta was also carelessly prepared and tasteless. The service was attentive, and the owner didn't charge me for my spaghetti, which I found very accommodating.

07/11/2025: The food wasn't fresh (see pictures), and the service from the older lady was very disappointing – overwhelmed, unfriendly, impatient, and disrespectful. It's a real shame because I've known this restaurant since 2007!

24/06/2025: We have been frequenting this place for a long time and each visit is a pleasant certainty. From kebab sandwiches to pizzas, each dish is prepared with fresh and quality ingredients, always served with care and attention. A special applause to Osman and Ali, managers who are always friendly, helpful and attentive to the needs of customers. The pizza, prepared by Mesut, is always a guarantee: light dough, perfect cooking and impeccable taste. A point of reference in Laces for those looking for a tasty meal in a welcoming environment. Highly recommended for quality, service and kindness.

11/11/2025: The hotel is located just outside the town, as you can see on the map. There was ample parking, and it was easy to find. The swimming pool is large and modern, while the sauna area is a bit dated and doesn't quite live up to the standard, though it's a good size. Unfortunately, the showers there could use some TLC. The restaurant and bar area is well-designed, and the breakfast was good and plentiful – I'd call it standard plus. Omelettes or other egg dishes are also freshly prepared upon request. The staff is friendly. I can't comment on dinner. My only disappointment was the room. The pictures clearly show that there are modern rooms available, but it seems there are also some older ones. Small, with dated furniture. It doesn't quite match the rest of the hotel – but it's cheap and clean. Overall, it's okay – but if it were a bit more modern, I would have given the room a higher rating.

11/11/2025: Truly a stunning hotel, with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The spa is sensational, offering a wealth of amenities to fully relax. Highly recommended.

02/11/2025: When we arrived in Merano, we immediately headed to this pizzeria recommended by a colleague. It's a very large place, spread over two floors and stylishly furnished. Friendly staff, impeccable service, and truly excellent pizzas. The dough has a rustic feel due to the flour used, and the pizza is a cross between gourmet and classic wagon wheel. We were satisfied, and if I were to return to Merano, I'd order a second helping. Prices are a little high, but worth it. Highly recommended!

01/09/2025: When I want Asian food but don't feel like going out, this restaurant is always my first choice. It offers a variety of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai dishes (the curry triangles and Thai soup are out of this world!!). Delivery is usually pretty quick, and the price is fair. In my opinion, the place is a bit dated, which doesn't make it very welcoming, but it's still suitable for casual dining. In the summer, you can also eat outside, but close to the street.

21/10/2025: A simple, picture-perfect Italian trattoria. The food is delicious and traditional. Everything is very reasonably priced. We received friendly service and were delighted with the food. PS: Local artisans also dine here for lunch.
