We stopped by for a quick refreshment and a caffeine boost, so I can't comment on the food. The espresso was excellent, and the drinks were perfectly refreshing. The service was friendly and quick, and the view was stunning. There are also beautifully flowering dipladenias in the outdoor area.

The San Marzano risotto was amazing, served with delicious bruschetta with avocado and salmon. The prices are more than reasonable, and the terrace offers a magnificent view over Merano.

Went for lunch today with a colleague (2 drivers). The place was welcoming, the staff friendly. My colleague had risotto with asparagus, which was very good but not al dente (perhaps left a minute longer), and steak. I had spaghetti with meat sauce (very good) and a cutlet. The price was excellent. The only flaw was that the table for two was a bit small. I've been here before with another colleague and another group, and I definitely think I'll be back again.

A foodie break while visiting the beautiful gardens Located near the Turiseum, this restaurant should not be confused with the more highly regarded restaurant of the same name outside the Trautmannsdorff Gardens. The menu is more touristy but not bad. The food is quite good, and it's more than adequate for a break while visiting the famous Merano botanical gardens. The service is quick, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is informal. The almost military-like attitude of the staff is perhaps a little too noticeable. Nice restaurant, friendly service, but the food doesn't deserve the name; it's more like a snack bar. The price-performance ratio is a 5 to 6, or rather, a tourist trap.

It's always difficult to get a table at lunchtime, so we always go early. The service and the food (this time a salad with chicken) are always first-class. The ice cream for dessert was also delicious.

The place is very nice and the atmosphere is pleasant, but some aspects of the service left me perplexed. I find it inappropriate to charge €2 for a glass of tap water, considering that two tourists already pay around €40 for the visit and often consume drinks at the bar (in our case, two drinks). I also asked for a receipt, as indicated on the slip left by the waitress, but was told it wasn't necessary. Finally, the restroom wasn't particularly clean. I believe that, when you charge even for minimal services, the overall level of service should be impeccable.
