A truly special place. If you're looking for a classic modern restaurant, with endless menus, reservations, and a frenetic pace, this probably isn't for you. Here, time seems to have stood still, in the best sense of the word.
Since 1971, the owners have run this business with the same simplicity, passion, and authenticity as always. It's one of those increasingly rare places, made up of genuine people, lots of substance, and very little form.
The menu is deliberately simple: three great grilled classics—pork shank, pork ribs, and chicken—prepared with care and truly excellent. The restaurant is quaint, the garden is splendid, and the atmosphere is that of a place that has never felt the need to follow trends.
If you want an authentic, timeless experience, this is the place. And don't forget to stop and chat with Carl and his brother: meeting people like them is worth the trip as much as the meal. They are the kind of people who, when you leave, leave something in your heart.

A lovely, good grill restaurant with good food and delicious wine; every year the owner, Karl, is very funny and likes folk music.

Super nice owner, good food and good wine - what more could you want?!
On the menu you can choose between pork knuckle and half a chicken. The red house wine goes well with it.
Salad, main course and 2 glasses for 2 people for about 500 kronor.

This was our second vacation in St. Martin, so the selection was naturally limited. If you're used to regular Voss water, this isn't the place for you.
We have no complaints; the pictures of the pork knuckles say it all—juicy, crispy, delicious, and this time very large! 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
