15/08/2025: A perfect break between heaven and earth If you're looking for a refuge where the view meets good food, this place at 2,070 meters above sea level is a must-see. Located right next to the cable car, it's easily accessible even for those who don't want to tackle long hikes. The food is excellent, as you'd expect from mountain huts and refuges: authentic, simple, and flavorful. I ordered a Milanese cutlet with fries—a classic served with care here. The cutlet was dry, not greasy, and perfectly crispy. The fries were excellent, accompanied by the inevitable sauces: ketchup and mayonnaise, always appreciated. The seating area is spacious and well-organized, perfect for relaxing after a hike or simply enjoying the sun and fresh air. The staff is friendly and helpful, and if they're not too busy, it's pleasant to chat—a detail that makes the experience even more authentic.

01/11/2025: The food was excellent! We were there in October and had schnitzel and salad. Very tasty, and we didn't have to wait too long. Very friendly service. Reasonable prices. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

14/12/2025: A very pleasant 5-night stay. The room was very spacious, modernly furnished, and spotlessly clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were very satisfied with the dinner. Although there were only 4 courses instead of the 6 advertised on the website, the selection was so extensive and plentiful, and each course so generous, that we were more than satisfied. The taste was also excellent. The spa area was lovely, with an indoor pool, whirlpool, and several saunas, all in good condition. But the best thing is the value for money – it's simply outstanding! We took advantage of a special Black Friday offer. However, even without this offer, the price would have been excellent. Therefore, I can't understand the negative reviews here. If you expect the standard of a 4.5 or 5-star hotel, you have to pay almost twice as much. We will definitely be back! Many thanks again to Alex!

08/12/2025: I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and, honestly, I expected a much higher standard. From the photos, the property seemed well-maintained and up to expectations, but once we arrived in our room, we immediately noticed several structural flaws: the outside light wasn't working, mold stains on the bathroom wall, and a lamp that was loose from the wall. Once we brought these small issues to the attention of the front desk, they immediately fixed them, but it should still be checked before guests arrive. The service also wasn't up to par for a 4-star hotel: the amenity kit was never replenished during our entire stay, and the bathroom air freshener was already finished when we arrived. These are small things, admittedly, but in a property of this caliber, they make a difference and shouldn't happen. We chose this hotel thinking we'd be on the safe side, given that we've always had excellent experiences at other 4-star properties, but unfortunately, this time, our expectations weren't met. On a positive note: the food. A good variety of products, not necessarily typical, but suitable for all tastes. The restaurant staff were very kind, welcoming, and always smiling. The spa area, however, was disappointing: despite having potential, it didn't seem adequately maintained. The outdoor jacuzzi wasn't lit and, since it was kept closed, we were told there might be mud in it; for this reason, we decided not to use it. Overall, the price paid was definitely too high for what the facility actually offers. It looks very good in the photos, but unfortunately, it doesn't reflect the expected value.

24/08/2025: Stay away from this place run by an incompetent person. I stopped for a typical South Tyrolean dish, added a quarter of a carafe of wine, and a carafe of still tap water. The final surprise on the bill: I was charged a monstrous €2.50 for water. I expressed my disappointment, and at one point the manager told me he pays for the water 😳 unbelievable. Not to mention the wine, which wasn't a Merlot at all as advertised, but a thin carton of wine. I also paid €3.50 for this. Guys, we're in the mountains on a farm, not a Michelin-starred restaurant. I absolutely don't recommend it.

23/08/2025: We went up for a snack with the kids. It's a wonderful place; tranquility and peace are the key words. The desserts are delicious, and the service is fast and friendly. The cheeses they sell are also excellent. It's a 15-minute walk away, even with strollers. You'll see cows and horses along the way.

19/12/2025: I spent a few days in Valdaora and often found myself hanging out at this bar in the evenings. The service from the curly-haired bartender was excellent, friendly and professional. Recommended.

09/10/2025: One of the cheapest and honest drinks I’ve ever been too. 5€ for Campari and Aperol, and 2€ house wines. They are also very generous. A must place to visit! I’m a fan.

21/10/2025: A very welcoming atmosphere, finally cloth napkins, excellent classic pizza (not gourmet or Neapolitan-style), long-standing, very professional owners (sometimes lacking a smile). Highly recommended if you're looking for atmosphere and classic pizza (in my experience, but there's also cuisine)!

28/09/2025: The pizza is highly recommended. The atmosphere is lovely and very well-maintained. Unfortunately, we felt rather intrusive as guests. The service, I think it was the owners, was unfortunately very dismissive and made you feel unwelcome. We certainly won't be coming back.

12/10/2025: One of the few dining options for hotel guests. The service and food are decent. While the view isn't particularly impressive, the quiet atmosphere is pleasant. However, when groups of tourists, especially Chinese tourists, flock here, the atmosphere becomes more like a market.

01/04/2025: Se sei da solo non ti fanno sedere. Dalle 2 persone in su prendono i nomi e man mano ti fanno accomodare, ma se sei da solo ti fanno aspettare anche 40 minuti dicendoti che stanno cercando un modo per inserirti a qualche tavolo. Parliamoci chiaro, il ricambio quando si scia è molto elevato perché nessuno vuole stare fermo ore. In 15 minuti avrei pranzato e avrei tolto il disturbo, ma per loro questo comportava una perdita di soldi. Vi manca un po' di umanità e c'è tanta discriminazione.

01/03/2025: Pranzo sulle piste da sci, piatti ottimi e servizio veloce e cortese. Abbiamo preso le mezze lune con ripieno di pera e salsa di formaggio veramente buonissimo. Anche le salsiccia con polenta e salse molto gustose. Da provare assolutamente

A special applause to Osman and Ali, managers who are always friendly, helpful and attentive to the needs of customers. The pizza, prepared by Mesut, is always a guarantee: light dough, perfect cooking and impeccable taste. A point of reference in Laces for those looking for a tasty meal in a welcoming environment. Highly recommended for quality, service and kindness.

23/11/2025: I had an appointment on Saturday at 8:30 PM, but the owners weren't there when I arrived. The front desk told me they don't schedule appointments at that time, and they didn't even seem to remember my meeting. I spent time and money showing up, and I should have received an explanation today, but it hasn't arrived. I await your response so I can update my review appropriately.

22/11/2025: A very nice experience. The rooms, spa, the entire resort, and the food were all top-notch. The spa massages could be improved, but all in all, a very enjoyable holiday.
