15/08/2024: It was nice experience the staff was friendly But food took so long to come We ordered fired sea food which were Delicious, the salmon plate was perfect The chicken burger was okay ( the bread was very big ) Mushroom risotto 8/10 The dessert : Bananas split 8/10 Tiramisu 7/10

21/08/2024: I would say an adventure not to be tried again. We stayed on Monday evening 19th August. The place needs to be completely renovated. We decided to eat out. We placed our order: shepherd's pasta, trio of dumplings and cut as an appetizer. 2 minutes after ordering, the waiter returns to tell us (exact words): the chef doesn't want to make the shepherd's pasta, because he doesn't want to start preparing it at this time. He offers us 2 other first courses: carbonara or pasta with sauce, we decide on carbonara. The cutting board arrives but not the ordered water and after a reminder it is delivered to us. The dishes arrive after 15 minutes: truly excellent dumplings, carbonara comes with a kilo of pasta and I'm not exaggerating, in fact even the waiter says that the chef made too much. Carbonara unfortunately with cream, but obviously it depends on taste. We finish everything in a singular atmosphere. We ask for the bill and the waiter tells us that the cost of the coffee is missing from the bill because he had forgotten. We spent €33. Obviously we won't be going back again.

22/07/2024: Very tasty and cheap too. Super friendly service and a cat without a name. Finally spaghetti carbonara again. Finally, there is pizza 🍕 and the pizza is really delicious, four cheeses for €9.50??? Also open on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The chestnut tree in the beer garden is best

09/07/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in questo splendido locale con le nostre bimbe di 3 e 5 anni. Il personale è stato esattamente cortese e professionale venendo in nostro soccorso con colori e fogli. Cibo ottimo e porzioni molto abbondanti.. Consigliatissimo soprattutto per il personale gentilissimo oltre che al cibo eccellente

05/07/2024: Non mi è piaciuto il fatto che il responsabile, ha girato per tutti i tavoli chiedendo se tutto a posto e se serve qualcosa….tranne il nostro. Forse per via del colore della nostra pelle scura ? Io lo considero razzismo. E basta perché non c’è nessun spiegazione di questo fatto.

19/03/2024: The hosts were very friendly and very attentive from the first minute. The hotel is very centrally located and you can be in the old town in just a few minutes and on the weekend you can also quickly get to the market. The rooms are small but functional. Everything was in perfect order and super clean. The breakfast was really good. We also had warm apple strudel. A force. We'd love to come back. Best regards

17/08/2024: Good food although not particularly plentiful. Very disappointed with the innkeeper's behavior. Rude and dismissive towards those who don't speak German. We asked if we could have potatoes instead of salad and he replied "I don't speak Italian like Berlusconi". Hostile, arrogant and presumptuous. Out of place jokes pretending not to understand "I've only been working here for two weeks... I don't consider the other 36 years" to make us understand that changes cannot be made to the menu. Not recommended place. The view is beautiful and the place nice but to AVOID: the decidedly hostile treatment ruins the lunch. I don't give it so much value that it ruins the day too.

13/08/2024: We stopped on the way to reach the stone men, just for a very good refreshing elderberry juice... On the way back, it was an obligatory step due to a sudden downpour... I had a very good slice of cake... The only negative note is the innkeeper... grumpy and arrogant.. I'm only now reading past reviews... I'm not surprised that I was the only customer present... there must be a reason why the other one a little further up was full of people... I would make 2 considerations... Greetings!

28/08/2024: Hatten das Restaurant spät am Abend sehr voll vorgefunden und nicht reserviert. Der Kellner konnte seine Überraschung über unser nicht Vorschauendes Reservieren nur mit einem sehr merkwürdigen Blick kommentieren. Bekamen einen Tisch und auch zu spüren das man nicht ganz so erwünscht war. Essen war sehr gut und ausreichend groß Portioniert, aber das ganze hatte ein Geschmäckle.

20/08/2024: Prima sera a cena risotto e piatto misto con salsiccia formaggio e funghi voto 7,5 Seconda sera gnocchi di patate su fonduta di formaggio noci e porcini e pappardelle alla selvaggina buonissimi ! Peccato per lo strüdel che non era molto strüdel... più simile a una torta di mele Cena voto 8

26/08/2024: I recently visited Pension-Restaurant Jägerhof and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The service was incredibly poor from the start, with the staff being inattentive and unfriendly. However, what was truly unacceptable was what happened towards the end of our visit.While I was at the cashier paying the bill, the waiter harassed my partner. This kind of behaviour is completely inappropriate and made us feel very uncomfortable. It's shocking that such an incident could occur in a place that's supposed to provide a pleasant and safe environment for its customers. I cannot recommend this establishment, and I would advise others to be cautious when visiting. We will certainly not be returning.

23/08/2024: La nostra esperienza è durata 15 minuti, tanto è bastato per scappare da questo posto! quando siamo entrati, abbiamo detto di essere accompagnati da un cane. Il gestore, con atteggiamento arrogante ed indisponente, ci ha risposto che il cane doveva stare sotto al tavolo e che non dovevamo dargli da mangiare per non creare disagi ai camerieri. Ok, ci diciamo: siamo abituati a gestire il nostro cane da anni. Ma non basta: ci viene detto che tutti i clienti dicono che hanno capito, ma poi i cani fanno quello che vogliono. Queste sono le regole del locale. Veniamo fatti sedere nella sala interna, da soli: in terrazza ci sono già altri cani e noi creeremmo disagio. CI sediamo e la cameriera che ci porta i menu’ ci guarda come due appestati. Mentre guardiamo il menù’ (che riporta pietanze scritte in italiano incompressibile, ma vabbè) torna il gestore che ci sbraita che il cane non è’ esattamente sotto il tavolo: ce ne andiamo, non moriremo certo di fame. In un ristorante, oltre al buon cibo, è giusto cercare anche un minimo di atmosfera o quantomeno civiltà. Se manca pure questa…resto a digiuno! Da evitare!

27/07/2024: Unfortunately I couldn't eat in this place because they decided to apply TheFork's 50% discount only on dishes under 10 euros (sandwiches) while above they apply 20 or 30%, unlike what is written in the conditions. They don't accept TheFork Pay even though they should. They preferred to let us go instead of seeking an agreement.

04/05/2024: We were in the bistro after a tour of the Franzensfeste. Very friendly staff and the apple strudel was really tasty.

29/03/2024: I would have liked to give it 5 stars, the food is very good and the staff is actually very nice. But when my wife's rental skis were stolen and she just wanted to ask in the restaurant whether the surveillance cameras belonged to her, the waitresses were very annoyed and extremely unfriendly. That’s also part of it…

16/08/2024: Sicuramente il posto soddisfa i bisogni di famiglie con bambini, visto che c’è un grande parco giochi attrezzato. Tuttavia in questo modo viene meno tutto il fascino della montagna. Peccato perché il posto è veramente bello. Il ristorante è diviso in due zone: ristorante vero e proprio dove si possono ordinare tutti i piatti ed area per il service o per cose molto semplici come gelati o panini. Il servizio è molto veloce e fanno pressione affinché ordini, consumi e lasci libero il posto ad altri. Ovviamente i prezzi sono alti e la qualità sufficiente, sicuramente non memorabile. Una catena di montaggio praticamente, un fast-food. Consiglio a chi ha un’idea diversa di cosa è la montagna di passare ed andare dritti.

01/08/2024: Rifugio grande molto bello e caratteristico. Posizione fantastica per numerose escursioni. Un oasi di divertimento per i bambini. Ristorante appartenente al circuito AIC con proposte senza glutine. Antipasto non abbondante ma buono. Canederli senza glutine buoni.
