02/09/2025: Unfortunately, it's not as nice as last year. Upon arrival, we were looking forward to a hearty breakfast with scrambled eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice. Unfortunately, that's no longer available. As we later read, it's only available on weekends. When I'm on vacation here, I'd like to have breakfast during the week as well. It's a shame 😏 we had to settle for a sweet breakfast.

29/07/2025: This property may carry the Leading Hotels of the World label, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of that standard. Setting and decor is old and rundown , the service philosophy seems to revolve around charging extra for absolutely everything — often without warning. From basic amenities to services you’d reasonably expect to be included in a hotel of this caliber, nearly everything comes with an unexpected fee. Instead of feeling pampered, you feel like you're being upsold at every turn. It’s disappointing and leaves a sour taste. Luxury isn’t just about the look — it’s about the guest experience. And here, that experience feels transactional, not hospitable. Definitely not the seamless, elevated stay one would expect from a member of LHW. Extremely underwhelming spa and massage experience. The massage was poorly executed, felt rushed, and completely lacked any professionalism or technique. The spa area itself is tiny and cramped, offering none of the comfort or luxury you would expect. The pool is small and uninviting, the showers are bare — no shampoo, conditioner, or body products provided. No brushes, no hair products, no amenities at all. Everything felt like an afterthought. This is not a relaxing or rejuvenating environment by any standard. Definitely not worth the cost or the time. Would not return or recommend. But the worse was interaction with few members of the staff that insisted on changing us the fee for spa entrance after we paid 150 euro for our poor massages for each and were planning to have dinner for 4 right after. When we called 4 to 5 days in advance, we were told by two staff members that there was no separate entrance fee if you’re having a spa treatment or dinner. We were planning to have both. On the way out of the spa we were asked to pay another 300 for entrance to the “ magnificent “ spa. They could not produce any email confirmation re those charges. We left the hotel very disappointed.

29/07/2025: Our friends stayed at this hotel during the winter, therefor me, my wife and another couple decided to check the hotel for our future trips. We live in Miami and come to Italy, San Cassiano area specifically, to hide from the Sumer heat in Miami. We called in advance few days prior and inquired about the massages and the dinner. What is the better way to check the hotel?! We reserved massages and reserved the dinner table. My wife called several times to confirm the pricing. The answer was, because we were not staying at the hotel we just “pay for the massages and the dinner”. After getting very mediocre massages in the not very clean congested spa and paying the bills at the spa, we proceeded upstairs to go to the restaurant, when we were informed about paying another 70 euros per person “for the entry”. This was out of line and a total surprise to us. The Front Desk deputy manager was very rude. We asked for the Manager to stop by. Michelle Albertelli was not helpful at all. We obviously did not stay for dinner and left. This is the LHW? This is the Service? We did not go to the restaurant and obviously did look at the rooms for the future, but, though they claimed that the hotel was renovated, judging by the Spa, it was filthy. The showers, the tiny lockers, toilets were filthy. The important thing is that the Front Desk people were rude. It should never happen at LHW property! 0 ⭐️!

11/09/2025: We stayed at this hotel for a few days last week. The owners' courtesy, kindness, and friendliness made our mini-vacation relaxing and carefree. THANK YOU!!!! The food was very good...super breakfast and delicious dinner, what can I say...highly recommended. A special mention to the people who work at this hotel...kind and thoughtful.

06/09/2025: We were very impressed by our dinner here. The location is very cosy and nice and ensures good privacy while keeping noise levels down. Service was straight from the heart, and the food was local but really well done. The spinach Spätzle were so fresh and fluffy and had so much spinach in them, with a most generous helping of walnuts. The dumplings likewise were really rich in veggies, and the Kaiserschmarrn was a great dessert - we liked how it was caramelised and moist.

12/10/2025: A welcoming place with indoor and outdoor spaces, friendly staff, free and convenient parking, and, most importantly, amazing roast beef. Highly recommended.

06/10/2025: We stayed at the Riega for a short break. Our room was excellent: modern, comfortable, and very clean. We had a good breakfast at the Riega and ate dinner at the Riega restaurant, and we were very satisfied. The staff and hotel staff were very friendly. The location is perfect for hiking. We would 100% recommend it.

06/09/2025: So the pizza itself was good, but the service was disappointing. We booked a table for 10 people. We got there and the "new" girl, as we were told, didn't know anything, and we had to wait at least 10 minutes for the owner to decide where our table was because she was on the phone, minding her own business. She came to take our orders looking annoyed, then the pizzas arrived. 8 of us ate almost half the pizza before the other 2 arrived because she was working at another table. Once we finished eating, they cleared the table halfway (some dishes remained there until we left). We had to turn off the water and coffees 3 times. But the worst was with the desserts we had brought; she put them in the freezer, so they froze and we couldn't eat them. And lastly, I ate half the pizza. She told me she'd bring me a box to put it in, but they didn't bring it until we went to pay and asked for it. First and last time they've seen us. I'd say the service was terrible, that's an understatement.

30/08/2025: My favorite pizza. Whenever I'm craving pizza, I get a maxi Margherita from Alpenrose and eat it in 10 minutes. I don't have any photos to attach because I don't have time to take them.

18/08/2025: Unfortunately, it's the only place where you can stop for a break. The dishes are all pre-cooked and not very well made. You have to wait in line to pay, and it's self-service.

13/09/2025: Everything was very good, the owner was very nice, and the prices were very fair. Recommended, and we'll be back.

10/09/2025: Used only as a bar. Dated atmosphere. Good coffee and much better prices than the competition...

02/10/2025: The pizza in the restaurant was a frozen pizza that probably didn't cost €2, and it wasn't cooked properly!

30/09/2025: Came in late after a long train journey and were warmly greeted and taken care of. Staff is polite and charming.

15/08/2025: Unfortunately, the location is worth it, but the food isn't up to par. It was our first time here, and sadly, I don't think we'll be back. They brought us the menu, but in reality, there were only four dishes available, which were communicated verbally and were slightly different from those listed. We ordered a lasagna, which arrived piping hot because it had clearly been reheated in the microwave. A little attention would have been needed, perhaps even changing the dish. It's obviously not a big deal, but I just wanted to point it out to demonstrate the care this place takes. The other two dishes, dumplings with salad, were equally mediocre, with nothing special, especially the salad. Another negative is the wait: 50 minutes for dishes that don't require any special preparation. Finally, the outside tables were full of ants, which was quite annoying. In short, the location is really beautiful and deserves much better quality service and cuisine.

14/09/2025: We were looking forward to our first good pizza of our vacation. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. Initially, we were assigned a table in the far corner, where we were completely forgotten. We didn't get anything except the menu. After waiting half an hour, we left. At the competitor, everything went like clockwork. In less than 10 minutes, we had a perfect pizza on our table in a beautiful setting with excellent service. That's exactly what we'd expect.

17/05/2025: Sono un grande fan della Pasticceria Hacker a Bolzano, ma devo dire che l'ultima volta sono rimasto un po' deluso. Le brioches, che di solito sono fantastiche, questa volta non erano friabili come al solito e le ricordavo molto più buone. Spero sia solo un episodio isolato, perché mi piacerebbe tornare e ritrovare la qualità di sempre!

30/12/2024: Ho cercato questa pasticceria perché le valutazioni sono buone, volevamo fare colazione, purtroppo i tavoli sono solo esterni , anche la pasticceria sinceramente non mi ha ispirato quindi abbiamo rinunciato alla colazione, ma abbiamo acquistato dei meravigliosi cioccolatini di loro produzione.
