31/03/2024: Locale pessimo, prezzi ridicoli per la qualità del cibo (pessima) siamo stati maltrattati palesemente perché nostro figlio giocava con un contenitore per il sale. Fortemente sconsigliato, se volete passare un pranzo o una cena tranquilla, unica nota positiva la cameriera bionda con i capelli corti.

31/03/2024: Il mio compagno ed io troviamo questo posto per caso, molto carino.. ci ha ispirato molto (caratteristico e pulito) e così abbiamo deciso di provarlo! Ad accoglierci la cameriera bionda, molto gentile e a modo.. apriamo il menù e rimaniamo di sasso per i prezzi.. 17/20€ gli antipasti, 20/25€ i primi, 30/35€ i secondi.. da noi in Piemonte questi prezzi sono non da stellati ma quasi… decidiamo così di prendere solo una pizza il mio compagno ed io un carpaccio di manzo. A nostro figlio di 2 anni un piatto di riso in bianco. Nell’attesa nostro figlio, ripeto di 2 anni, ha preso in mano il dispensatore del sale svitando il pezzo superiore, senza romperlo.. solo svitandolo.. Dopo poco la proprietaria in maniera molto infastidita senza nemmeno salutarci né facendoci un sorriso, prende in mano il sale e in modo molto maleducato ci dice che quel dispensatore costa 50€ e se ne va..noi li rimaniamo basiti, ma non diciamo nulla.. dopo poco notiamo che la signora parlava dell’accaduto con il tavolo di fianco a noi.. così lì non ci siamo più trattenuti e abbiamo iniziato a discutere… la cosa peggiore è che la proprietaria dispensava consigli su come educare nostro figlio di 2 anni.. ma come si permette??? In un modo assolutamente maleducato e privo di senso. Andiamo via subito dopo, mangiato male.. il mio carpaccio era freddo quasi gelato .. insipido.. scondito ( il sale e pepe me li aveva pure tolti…).. 17€!!!! Il pugno di riso in bianco, 9€!!! Spendiamo 52€ per aver mangiato una pizza marinara, un carpaccio, un pugno di riso in bianco.. una birra, un’acqua (mezzo litro) ed un caffè. Assurdo!! Prezzi folli per la bassa qualità. Ps: noi il contenitore del sale, da persone educate quali siamo l’avremo comunque messo aposto, ma non ci ha dato modo e tempo… Posto da evitare

15/08/2024: It was the only restaurant where we could make reservations. We travel extensively and it is our third time in buitifull San Cassiano. In the whole restaurant the was only few tables occupied. We had a biggest table of 5..Bad sign already. Every dish for each of us was either mediocre or bad. Undecioked, overcooked or just bland. Service was mediocre as well. To have such a bad meal with bad service in Dolomites is rare. It explains why in the busiest week on the summer it was the only place with availability.

11/08/2024: Excellent hotel in a historic building, located in a strategic position in relation to the Klausberg ski lift and very close to many other peaks of the Aurina Valley. When you check in they also give you tickets to use public transport for free (bus stop a few meters away). The strategic positioning also includes a private garage where you can store your car with direct access to the hotel and a well-stocked minimarket right next to the entrance door of the hotel (where you can, for example, have excellent sandwiches filled to take home behind for lunch if you go on an excursion, and much more). The hotel also has a bar and restaurant, excellent breakfasts with sweet and savory options and the possibility of dining on site with a menu that changes every day, up to 4 courses and of excellent quality! Dinner is paid separately based on the menu and courses. Our double room was located on the third floor (no lift! But if you go trekking, the stairs won't stop you), functional and practical with an excellent view of the mountain. The only flaw is the absence of a bidet in the bathroom and the ceiling is a little low on the toilet side to allow comfortable use for men taller than 1.70cm. Bathroom equipped with shower gel, shampoo, hand soap and solid conditioners to avoid the use of plastic. Quite large TV screen (great for relaxing in the evening with the Olympics 😉). We had our dog (Australian shepherd) with us and we paid a surplus of €10 per day, and we were able to always take him with us even for meals. Chapeau! The facility hosted several other dogs besides ours. If you want to bring your four-legged friends on public transport, remember that the use of a muzzle is mandatory. Definitely a hotel with many advantages and few defects, therefore recommended!!!

20/08/2024: Very characteristic hut in a beautiful environment and easy to reach. The walk from the Wielental car park, just before the junction for the earth pyramids, is slightly sloping for the first 5-10 minutes then it softens and is really pleasant. Excellent typical food, generous portions and very kind staff. Bring cash as the POS is not available (at least until August 2024).

14/08/2024: Beautiful mountain hut in a strategic position. Average food. Average account. Terrible service: very disorganised, they don't even have numbers at the tables so the two waitresses got the orders mixed up. It took us 40 minutes to get the right drink order. They cleared the table of the glasses of those who were there before us after 1 hour and 20 minutes. For the food it took more than an hour with the excuse of "we only have one chef" even if there wasn't a full house. The waitresses warn you that you will have to wait but not how long and above all they cannot give you updates on the wait after you have ordered. It's really a shame, a disservice like this has never happened to me in any mountain hut in South Tyrol.

07/07/2024: Nice place, friendly staff used to managing large tables like the one I was sitting at, I'm sorry that they chose to place a small table next to a couple who certainly didn't enjoy dinner much. Decent but overpriced pizza.

18/08/2024: Abbiamo prenotato in questo ristorante quasi per caso ed è stata un'ottima esperienza. Hanno menù di carne o pesce ma si prodigano per soddisfare esigenze vegetariane. Cibo e accoglienza ottimi. Consigliato vivamente.

31/08/2024: Of course - how could it be otherwise - this funny name has triggered us again and again for years and so today we came here after our trip over the Mendel Pass into Trentino. Drinks were ok and the Christl in Loch Brettl for €20 was a little meager. This honest name reveals the location - wonderfully located between the apple orchards and directly on the bike path, it will hopefully continue to provide relaxation as a snack stop.

25/08/2024: A very nice place to take a break after the climb from St. Michael. Great Gewürztramine rice. Highly recommended

18/08/2024: Nice place, excellent location with outdoor tables overlooking the center of Egna. The service was a bit lazy, but it's a shame about the exaggerated prices: €19.50 for two sandwiches (quite terrible and poorly reheated), a beer and a soft drink are really too much. Maybe it's better to go there just for an aperitif.

01/08/2024: We met for an aperitif with colleagues... 4 people... two beers, a spritz and a tonic... they brought us a platter for the aperitif since it was 7pm... too bad there were 3 on the platter pieces of focaccia and 3 croutons... not even 2 tastings each... shame that the focaccia was also old.,,.. the service needs to be re-evaluated
