16/10/2025: I'd love to go there sometime. The access is very nice and idyllic, it looks like a meeting place for young people. Table football and darts appeal to me. I'll definitely stop by sometime, and now I'm happy to recommend you to others. I was in the area for a short time, but unfortunately I was a bit late. I had to move on, but I did have a quick glimpse of the garden in my mind... still a beautiful autumn time.

29/10/2025: Delicious food, but the kitchen closes at 9 pm. So be there early (before 8 pm) otherwise it will be unpleasant.

08/09/2025: The new location also exudes the typical "Enzo spirit." A bit larger and airier, yet still tastefully cozy, you'll feel right at home. Excellent dishes and first-class wines, casual and relaxed in the morning, elegant and full of flair in the evening. Even without the arcades, this is a must-visit in the region. Thanks for being there!

08/09/2025: I went to this place during aperitivo time before lunch with my girlfriend and family, drawn by the location and the fact that there were several people sitting at the tables. I always try to avoid writing bad reviews, but in this case it would be wrong not to. I'll start by saying that I'm a regular at Michelin-starred restaurants (this one isn't, but it's in the guide nonetheless), so I'll sum up my experience with this: it's not quite there. Absolutely outrageous prices, a pointless €4 cover charge per person for a glass of wine each and a charcuterie board (a normal plate of speck and average salami, no mortadella) and an embarrassing cheese board (literally a small plate with five microscopic pieces of cheese and a sort of compote of some fruit in the center), both for €20 a plate. So, first of all, if you want to offer service like a busy restaurant/cafe, you do it in every way; either you succeed or you don't. Uncooked bread included in the price (I don't think I've ever experienced this in an osteria, much less in a Michelin-starred restaurant) was not even noticed by the owner, and we had to point it out to him. Small sharing plates of cheese and cured meats were only made upon request, and no explanation was given about the cheeses we were tasting (you're charging me 20 euros for them? Explain to me what I'm eating; that seems like the basis of fine dining). Unfriendly service and outrageous prices; Michelin should review its standards. Recommended only if you want to be needlessly ripped off. Avoid.

16/10/2025: The location is great for motorcyclists, the storage and parking options are good but that's about all the positive aspects. However, the price-performance ratio is not good at all. The rooms are old and sparsely furnished; mine didn't even have a closet and the bathroom is tiny. I had a double room to myself and space was tight; how two people were supposed to live in it is a mystery to me. The breakfast is okay but even that doesn't match the price you pay. The term steakhouse is misleading. Although there is something to eat six days a week in the evening, you have to choose from three dishes in the morning and there wasn't even a steak while we were there. But what was there was tasty. Bottom line: there are better alternatives for the money.

16/11/2025: I'm generally a "wellness hater"... I couldn't imagine ever going through something like a wellness weekend or anything similar again. But then came Hasenegg 😎😎😎😎😎 Just the thing for people who simply want peace and quiet while enjoying absolute luxury. It starts with a warm, friendly welcome... first impression, already perfect! Then you're shown to your room, which isn't a room, but a palace 😎😎😎 The palace has a small kitchen with all the trimmings... a stylishly furnished chill-out area, a very large bathroom with a shower and everything your heart desires, enough space for two. Then several highlights follow one after the other... A top-notch sauna, a whirlpool on the terrace, and a view I've rarely seen. … To top it all off, dinner and breakfast are delivered directly to your room… all top quality and prepared with love… I am grateful to have experienced something like this and to know that it certainly wasn't my last visit to the Hertscheg family. Thank you so much, and I have great respect for what you have created! Courageous, innovative, and absolutely in the spirit of the new. Warm regards from Innsbruck.

14/10/2025: Simply gorgeous, wonderful chalets furnished with attention to detail. Not to mention the incredibly beautiful infinity pool. We feel completely at home here, with fantastic service and a wonderful, extensive, personalized breakfast delivered to the chalet in the morning. A very nice restaurant with a wonderful ambiance and excellent food. The Hertscheg family warmly welcomes guests and is open-minded, very friendly, and helpful. This is our fourth time here, we always enjoy coming back, and we're already looking forward to seeing them again. All in all, a wonderful oasis of well-being, and we say THANK YOU for the fantastically wonderful vacation.

30/08/2025: Very disappointing. We were looking forward to a pleasant time. A tour of the premises. Afterwards, we were presented with five sparkling wines/wines at our table. Pour... drink... next drink. After that, the lady left. We saw her again outside the door with her cell phone and said goodbye. The whole thing took 35 minutes. Truly outrageous for the price.

11/08/2025: A wonderful winery tour, complete with tasting, led by the incredibly knowledgeable and kind Katia, who opened the doors to Kettmeir wines for us. A highly recommended visit, as it allows us to truly understand the region and its wines. We left loaded with bottles (which is a wonderful thing) but also with additional knowledge (which is even better).

03/11/2025: My wife and I found this Wine Bar on our first night in Ortisei and it was our favorite restaurant from our entire trip. The food, service, and atmosphere were so amazing we came back the next night! The owners, Renate and Helmuth also gave us excellent wine recommendations to pair with our dinner. We absolutely loved this restaurant and will be back the next time we are in Ortisei.

27/09/2025: We made an extra stop to visit the Gran Baita Gourmet restaurant after a great experience last year. However, with a new chef comes a new kitchen and we were quite dissapointed. There was to much experimentation going on and the “trust us” menu was nothing more than a selection of the normal menu. There were only a few nice dishes but nothing more than that. Service was great, same as last year.

12/07/2025: For years, we've been bringing home the bakery's wonderful Schüttelbrot and the incredibly delicious Vinschgauer pastries from our vacations. This year, we tried the apricot croissants for the first time. Absolutely heavenly.

06/10/2025: Since we had skipped the Talschlusshütte, we spontaneously stopped at the Pichlerhof. A fantastic view from the terrace and excellent Tyrolean cuisine were a wonderful experience. And the prices are very reasonable, too. Traditional South Tyrolean hospitality is still there. Highly recommended as a vacation accommodation.

24/09/2025: We stopped for lunch after cycling the Gola Pass. We ate deliciously on the outdoor terrace with a stunning view of the Collalto. The lady who served us was very kind, and the prices were excellent.
