A truly special place. We were so glad we followed the recommendation. The food and service are superb. The view is stunning, and the entire structure built into the mountain is so impressive. It's a must-see.

The Dursterhof snack bar is a real gem! The location is idyllic, with a stunning view that you can fully enjoy during your visit. The food selection is excellent, and the dishes are superbly prepared – you can truly taste the quality of regional cuisine. During peak times, there may occasionally be a slightly longer wait for a table. However, thanks to the beautiful surroundings and relaxed atmosphere, the wait is easily passed. A special insider tip: Be sure to buy the homemade raspberry jam to take home – absolutely delicious and a lovely souvenir of your visit! We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Great view, great cabin, great food, great host family

This Dursterhof is a must-see! Brick by brick, the mountain restaurant will soon be finished! Senior Christian is happy to answer any questions, and the entire service at the Dursterhof is perfect! Friendly, efficient staff, superb food, homemade takeaway items, and a fantastic view! We'll definitely be back!

Actually, I should give six stars in every category. The food was excellent, everything freshly prepared. The Dursterhof is primarily known for its raspberry creations (which, at the end of May, are only available from the freezer, as fresh raspberries are still a ways off). But the strawberry sundae, made with strawberries from their own garden, is also highly recommended. And the view over the Merano region and surrounding area is simply breathtaking. Overall, highly recommended. Food, service, ambiance, and view all deserve a perfect score!

Amazing views, interesting stone structures both outside and inside a cave. The food (schnitzel with fried potatoes, raspberry cream roulade, latte macchiato, raspberry spritzer) was fantastic!
