We stumbled on this absolute gem by accident while driving through the region and it’s the kind of place where you quickly realise that you’re sitting in a family run place. Except, this family is no ordinary one, they’re Michelin all the way! The cooking is some of the best I’ve ever tasted and it equals (if not beats!) the top restaurants in London. (Discipline and generosity - how can a plate of venison taste like that? Soooo good!) The wine was gorgeous from the local area while service was done with care and professionalism . After the savouries, Natalie’s sweets counter was the sort of end to a meal that we usually just dream about. The cherry cake, the marzipan and OMG the coffee cake! Believe you me that it’s worth the trip. It’s 100% amazing! Ps: I cant wait to be back

Food is amazing. It is all about great food and wine. We tasted food we never did before and you can tell the efforts the chef does to create it. Gluten free no issue. Service is outstanding Only thing which was not our thing is the silent atmosphere. It is not a fun atmosphere. I don't know why this needs to be like this in a star restaurant. Could be different. Thank you

Provate il menu del giorno a pranzo. La trattoria è in una bella posizione, con grandi vetrate e un roseto intorno. I vini vengono dalle vigne difronte. E sono buoni.

Exquisite Speisen und Getränke. Wirklich vom Allerfeinsten. Ein Familienunternehmen der besonderen Art. Wir werden immer herzlich willkommen geheißen, der Service ist außergewöhnlich gut, die Speisen alle bis ins kleinste Detail mit Liebe zubereitet. Sogar an die noch kleinen Kinder wurde gedacht. Das Restaurant ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, der Garten war auch dieses Mal wunderbar beleuchtet. Parkplätze gibt es genug direkt vor der Tür. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Kuppelrain restaurant in Sudtirol is one of my top 2023 discoveries! This family run restaurant makes you feel in heaven with its fantastic food and friendly service. Lunch in the beautiful garden with birds singing around was a memorable moment!

Absolute Empfehlung! Top Weine, top Essen, wunderbare Patisserie und super Service!

Es war einfach nur perfekt. Das Zimmer war gross und das Essen großartig. Die Lage ist direkt am Bahnhof, so ist auch ein Ausflug mit dem ÖV gut machbar. Einziges Manko, aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau, ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre schön gewesen.

The family run Kuppelrain in the beautiful village of Castelbello was an absolute delight to visit and it almost felt like a family meal in very stylish restaurant surroundings. Two menus plus a la carte dishes are offered but guests are also welcome to mix the various dishes from the two set menus, a very rate and very appreciated gesture in Michelin-starred restaurants. The dinner started with some very local bacon and wonderful bread sticks and spelt bread. The pasta and the pork belly main dish were absolute standouts. Lady of the house Sonya is great with her wine recommendations and the meal closing pralines are simply to die for, fortunately they are also available to purchase for take away. Above all the atmosphere is really lovely and guests are made super welcome with great care and attention, none of the robotic routine of other Michelin establishments. Would be delighted to return any day to Kuppelrain.
