Haidenhof In Cermes

A must for us when we are in South Tyrol. Fantastic view from the farm garden, good food and fantastic Kaiserschmarrn. Few parking spaces and challenging access (narrow, steep). If you want to hike: from the parking lot on the Marlinger Waalweg past Lebenberg Castle you will find the Haidenhof at the upper end of the street. a real place of heart.

A location and an ambience that is second to none. The winery and Buschenschank Haidenhof is located just above Lebenberg/Tscherms Castle. Certainly no longer an insider tip, but certainly worth a visit. The best wines, homemade bacon and South Tyrolean specialties can be enjoyed here at an altitude of approx. 550 m in an absolutely fascinating landscape. Without a doubt, a recommendation for fans of culinary delights in a breathtakingly natural environment. And for the little ones, there are all sorts of poultry and other farm animals to marvel at. We will be back ...

Definitely one of the best places in the area. Stunning panorama Amazing, homemade food Excellent wine If you are in these parts, look for Haidenhof and book, especially in summer otherwise you won't find a place.

Magnificent place with a breathtaking panoramic view. The road to reach this place is decidedly narrow given that it is located halfway up the mountain surrounded by apple orchards, so it is best to travel it with due care, especially at night. The menu is not very extensive but decidedly particular (for example: grilled meat is not always included at dinner) and very typical. Reasonable quality/price ratio. For tourists: take into account the closing time because, in these areas, especially for dinner, people eat early (7.30 pm ÷ 8.00 pm) and, consequently... To avoid problems, I recommend booking. However, personally a very positive experience and I recommend it.

Zum Glück sind wir nach einer längeren Wanderung noch die letzten Meter hochgelaufen. Toller Ausblick, leckeres Essen und sehr guter Wein. Service sehr freundlich!

A very nice Buschenschank which is best combined with a hike on the Waalweg from Lana-Töll. The ambience is really impressive due to the slight altitude with a wide view over the valley floor of the Burggrafenamt from Gratsch in the north down to Vilpian and good visibility even as far as Sigmundskron. Invites you to take photos of Lebenberg Castle. Only in the evening is the walk to the toilet a little adventure.
