Haidenhof In Cermes

A stunning location with beautiful views, and the garden is gorgeous! The food is incredibly delicious and freshly prepared, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. Of course, we immediately reserved a table for the summer when we're back in Merano.

A fantastic view and delicious wines (bottles between €24 and €38!). The wines are truly expertly crafted and taste amazing. The food is also world-class, the staff and the Erb family are incredibly welcoming, and the view is breathtaking. Reservations are recommended. The dumplings are simply divine and only cost €15. Save room for a few bottles to take home. It's an absolute must-try and the food is fantastic.

A truly magnificent location. Superb views in all directions, right in the middle of the vineyard. There's also something for children (a small playground and a goat enclosure). Prices are, as expected, a bit higher, but it's worth it.

Excellent food in a stunning location! You can sit comfortably under fig and olive trees, among grapevines, or under parasols and enjoy the view of the valley or up to Lebenberg Castle. The service was friendly and welcoming – a little rough around the edges here and there, but this didn't detract from the overall experience. A place to relax and enjoy yourself – we'll definitely be back.

We were here on a warm October weekend. The view, the location itself, and the food were excellent.

I've been here twice: once for Törggelen, and once on a Sunday for lunch. The first time, there was a huge mix-up with the orders. Perhaps the guy taking them didn't understand, but in the end, after a round of incorrect dishes, we ate what we'd ordered. Unfortunately, due to this mix-up, one person ate a very small portion of mezzelune (about 5) because they'd brought us the menu portion, even though she'd only ordered that, and therefore the regular portion. The second time for lunch, everything went very well; there was even less confusion in the place, which I think had an impact on the first time. However, when paying, they'd added items we hadn't ordered, but the lady was kind enough to let us check before we paid. The location deserves five stars, as does the food. Perhaps the service could be improved slightly when the restaurant is busy, and the prices are a bit above average, but not by much. Anyway, I'd go back ;)

We went there three times that year. Each time it was wonderful. The view is fantastic. The food was delicious, especially the chestnut tiramisu at the end. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. We'd love to come back again.

We've been going to the Haidenhof in Tscherms regularly for many years – and every time it's a truly special experience. The location alone is breathtaking: perched high above the valley, with a stunning view of Merano, the surrounding vineyards, and the mountains. This view alone is worth the trip! The drive there is always a bit of an adventure – narrow, winding, and exciting – and we're always relieved when we finally reach the top or back down again. But one thing is for sure: it's absolutely worth it! The food is outstanding – fresh, regional, and prepared with great care. Every dish impresses with its quality and flavor, and you can tell that the chefs are passionate about what goes into it. The service is also friendly, warm, and attentive. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. For us, the Haidenhof is a place to relax and enjoy ourselves – breathtaking views, superb food, and a wonderful atmosphere. We look forward to our next visit every time!
