26/06/2025: Due to the war that broke out in our country, all flights were canceled and we could not get to the hotel. Although the free cancellation period had ended, we contacted the hotel and asked them to consider the special situation and cancel or change the dates. They did not agree and 500 euros remained with them. We decided that if we did not enjoy it, then we would give it to someone else, and we did advertise on Facebook, and a couple who were stuck in Italy and could not return to Israel were happy to receive it as a gift. They said that they had enjoyed the hotel, but unfortunately people are measured in difficult moments. And the hotel did not know how to support and help us. Therefore, no matter how good the rooms and service are considered, we will not come and will not recommend it.

25/06/2025: Nice decorated Hotel. Rooms are new and clean. Shower is fine. Breakfast is good. BUT; Unfortunately and kind of strange; there is no airconditioning in the rooms, so it is quite warm/hot during the night. The air-quality, temperaturewise, is not so good in the Hotel overal. And it was not even hot outside while we where there. The service at the terrace is quite slow when you arrive. Our main goal was MTB, and that was a big succes.

22/08/2025: Super delicious pizza. Great dough and delicious flavor, the best we've had in Kaltern so far. The service was a bit slow, and it's just a large beer garden. All in all, really good.

22/08/2025: Giant and good cutlet. Excellent pizza, very fast service. Excellent value for money.

27/08/2025: A rare funicular railway that's like new and takes you up to Resciesa very quickly. The wait is short, even though the rides aren't as continuous as with the cable cars.

21/08/2025: The hardest part of planning a trip to the Dolomites was figuring out which cable car to take and what kind of views to expect. This cable car offers the following views. (The route from Passo di Brogles to Rifugio Malga Brogles is incredibly beautiful on Google Maps. Download Maps.me for guidance rather than Google Maps. Google Maps' accuracy is poor in the mountains.) Originally, I planned to follow this route to Santa Magdalena, but it took a long detour, so I couldn't make it. Nevertheless, it was a very enjoyable trek. Personally, I was much more satisfied than Seceda, and since it's off-the-beaten-path (for the average short-term tourist), I didn't see a single Asian, let alone Korean, the entire trek. I think I trekked for about three hours without overdoing it. I highly recommend it! Here's the route I took, based on the Google Map name: 1) Funicular Resciesa - Ortisei 2) Rifugio Resciesa 3) Cristo alla Rasciesa 4) Brogles 5) Rifugio Malga Brogles 6) Costamula Restaurant 7) Return to Ortisei by bus (see Google Map times) 5) -> 6) were just ways to descend. If you've bought a pass, you probably don't need to do this. I really want to enjoy the route from 4) to 5)! For reference, instead of taking the cable car round-trip, I bought a one-way ticket, walked down, and took the bus back.

26/07/2025: Great burgers and sandwiches.. pleasant atmosphere and very friendly smiling staffs.. recommended if you are in nearby.

07/09/2025: We enjoyed a veal loin and a fish variation for lunch today...the food and service were excellent. A special thank you goes to Martina for her excellent service. We will definitely be back!!!!! Elke and Sigi

03/09/2025: We celebrated a milestone birthday here and felt incredibly well looked after and enjoyed excellent food. The quality of the fish and meat, both for starters and main courses, was excellent, the side dishes were basic but delicious, and the sauces were very fine. We also received excellent advice on wine and other drinks, which is unfortunately not a given everywhere. The chocolate cake with a liquid center was the perfect dessert, and the portion size wasn't too large either. We will be back, thank you for the lovely evening here!

13/08/2025: We had lunch on a hot day and enjoyed the terrace. The portions are quite large and the value is excellent. The lady who served our table was kind and friendly. There's parking available for customers. A packet of Haribo was very welcome for the little ones.

22/08/2025: This review is now outdated, and I'm once again very pleased with the service. My apologies for the delay in changing it to 5 stars, because you truly deserve them. Nothing to say about the food, which was very good as always. However, I'm sorry to have to give it 2 stars for the service provided by the new waiters. They didn't offer a smile, in fact, it seemed like they were bothering me, and the responses weren't very friendly, which is what I found. I'd be very happy to give this beautiful place all its stars as soon as they start treating their customers properly.

25/08/2025: I ordered Pizza frutti di Mare which was totally disgusting, the seafood was frozen and unseasoned, I paid and never again

24/08/2025: We stopped in Brennero for the night. Our pizza cravings were more than satisfied at Pasta e Pizza da Andrea. We didn't even see the place because we ate outside. The waiters were friendly, courteous, and professional. The pizza was delicious and crispy, the prices were below average (at least in my area, they're more expensive), and the beer was excellent, too. Highly recommended.

24/08/2025: When you arrive after a couple of hours of walking, you'll be hungry. They serve you quickly and with a smile. Generous and tasty portions. Classic Tyrolean dishes, with fresh ingredients delivered by cable car. The splendid view and the kindness of the owners invite you to return and even stay the night.

16/08/2025: We stayed in a triple room since this was the only available option for 2 adults and 1 kid. Considering the price they charge per night in a hot season ($500), this was certainly not worth it. The room rate was 1.5x higher because we had a 6 year old kid with us, although the space was the same as the standard room, with the only difference of having a side bed a set up. The room was too small, with no space to unpack 3 suite cases each of us had. Not to mention an ironing board when needed. Most importantly our room was facing the other building so the location next to the beach and with the view of the mountains (one of the main selling points of the property) was not there for us. We could have booked the same room at half the price. The property positions itself as a luxury one but it is far from that level of you look at the details. The service is great, and breakfast is outstanding but overall the vibes we got to experience were not to our taste. I expressed our concerns about the room to the front desk but did not get this resolved when we came back after a short trip to Florence, although we were assured we would get a nicer room. In addition, the beach club (Le Pace) associated with the hotel is quite worn out. We made a day trip to Lido di Camaiore (next town) and were pleasantly surprised to find a much better beach with better amenities and much greater service. All in all, quite disappointing, would never get back.

06/09/2025: Impeccable service compared to what we have experience in the Dolomites so far...not to mention friendly welcoming staff and very hearty food. We dined both days here and the pasta dishes were incredible (quite reasonable too), I also tried the Venison medallions and the weinerschnitzel which was delicious. Hands down the best fries and a senstional apple strudel (Best we have had so far). Worth going just for the strudel alone.

04/09/2025: We had a perfect experience! Service was fantastic, everything we ordered arrived very quickly, food was delicious, staff were friendly, prices were fair and the view was just gorgeous.

06/09/2025: While I was sitting in the garden, a lemon fell straight on my head from an overhead balcony. It hurt and was unpleasant, especially since none of the staff bothered to ask if I was okay. For a venue that welcomes outdoor customers, I believe it's essential to pay more attention to safety and how spaces are managed; I won't be returning because it's too dangerous.

04/09/2025: We held our reception here after our civil wedding and were absolutely thrilled! Despite the café being full, everything was perfectly organized as discussed beforehand. The private area in the backyard was beautiful, and the snacks and drinks were simply outstanding. Many thanks to the entire Kuntino's team for this unforgettable day – we highly recommend it!
