Beautiful terrace, delicious pizza, friendly service

Very friendly staff, a large selection of pizzas, and above all, delicious.

The Lindenwirt is a fantastic restaurant. The food is delicious and the selection is truly excellent. The tomato, mozzarella, and onion salad is simply superb. The prices are reasonable and affordable, in keeping with the touristy atmosphere of Dorf Tirol. The service is very friendly and always helpful. Reservations are highly recommended. Unfortunately, there is no parking available nearby. It's best to walk and park elsewhere. I wholeheartedly recommend the Lindenwirt! 👍💯

We spontaneously stopped at the pizzeria and were treated to delicious pizzas, a mixed salad, and two dark beers on the lovely terrace! To top it all off, we were offered a complimentary schnapps! The staff was very friendly and helpful! We'll definitely be back!!

We ate delicious bruschetta and pasta here (lasagna, spaghetti bolognese, and tagliatelle with shrimp, zucchini, and tomatoes). Fresh, pure flavors, perfectly balanced. Do not be misled by the not-so-inviting front of the restaurant. At the back, there is a beautiful covered terrace/conservatory where you can sit comfortably. The staff is friendly, discreet, and focused on providing service.

The pizzeria has new management since this year (2026). Great service, delicious pizzas, and all this in the heart of a Tyrolean village. Try the Pizza Chef or the Pizza Chefess!

I stopped by today while passing through and stopped for a meal. The service was incredibly attentive and fast, and the food and atmosphere were top-notch. After paying the bill, they offered me a complimentary grappa, Williams pear brandy, or limoncello. If I were in the area longer, I would eat here every day. Thank you to the team at the Lindenwirt.

We ate at the Lindenwirt three times during our vacation and it was excellent every time. The pizza is fantastic and the tiramisu is indescribable.

5 stars for the excellent food. The decor is 80s-style and dreary. But the pizza is highly recommended! Better than downtown Merano, and the value for money is excellent.
