27/08/2025: Excellent experience staying at this hotel. Facilities were immaculate, was very nice to relax at the spa after a day's hike in the mountains. Evening dinner was exceptional, and very reasonably priced for the quality of food (40 euros per person for a set tasting menu). Staff were attentive and friendly at all times. Location was great, short drive to Tre Cime, right next to Lake Dobbiaco, short walk into the local town. Only negative could be that the hotel is more expensive than other local options, but the quality makes up for it in our opinion.

23/08/2025: FABULOUS hotel. Beautiful, new room, incredibly clean throughout. Infinite spa, two outdoor pools and one indoor pool. I was impressed by the kindness of the staff, especially the waitresses, who were always attentive and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were exceptional. I found the location excellent, a 10-minute walk from the center of Dobbiaco. Highly recommended.

26/07/2025: Like every year, we were at the Patriarch with friends yesterday and let the fantastic culinary delights of your establishment melt in our mouths. It's a real treat to enter your beautiful, tastefully decorated establishment. When the staff, like me at your place, greet you with a friendly "Grüss Gott" paired with an unmistakable smile, you notice that people matter most here, both as employees and guests. This truly pleasant, friendly atmosphere extends into the kitchen as well. In the restaurant industry, it's often particularly difficult to remain pleasant, because the times we live in seem to bring more and more dissatisfied people to light. Therefore, we would like to restore balance and thank you for the lovely evening. Life is beautiful; yesterday was the best proof of that. 19/06/2025: A superb view. Very friendly service. But the prices are simply too high. €7 for a single, extremely hard Kaminwurz (smoked sausage) with a roll is too much.

27/07/2025: I had one of the best meals ever. The pork knuckle was wonderful and delicious beyond description. While I understand that tourist areas can result in a loss of food quality, my meal was exceptional. I will definitely return.

24/08/2025: This is the second year in a row we've returned to the Hotel Genziana. The hotel is centrally located and extremely convenient. The rooms are spotless, the breakfasts and dinners are excellent. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. The staff is very kind and helpful. The spa is complete and well-maintained, and the staff is very courteous. Two considerations for improving this little gem: - The spa's opening hours, from 4 to 7 pm, are too restrictive. I personally suggested at least closing at 7:30 pm; most guests are out all day on excursions, and returning around 5:30 pm means they can't enjoy a complete and therefore healthy wellness program. - The outdoor hydromassage pool is nestled in a magnificent garden that gets the sun from morning until 6 pm, so I would recommend opening it at least from 2 pm for those who enjoy the garden and the sun; instead, it opens from 4 pm to 7 pm, like the spa. I hope these suggestions are taken as constructive; I also run a small hospitality business, and when my guests point out improvements, I always welcome them as positive exceptions. 22/05/2025: We only had a quick drink there, but we found the location very appealing. The drive there alone (we were coming from Bolzano) is worth the trip. Once there, the atmosphere is great and it's ideal for the short walk to Greifenstein Castle (about 20 minutes). The staff was super friendly. We'll definitely stop by again when we're in the area.

30/07/2025: I returned for lunch after a few years, and my experience was still positive: a lovely, traditional restaurant with a varied menu, generous portions, and excellent quality ingredients, all at a fair price. I'll be back soon!

31/08/2025: I often get pizza delivered from them, and it's better than many pizzerias with wood-fired ovens! And that says it all! They're always so kind, both when you order and when they deliver it. They're never on time, BUT ALWAYS EARLY, and that's just a pleasure! In my opinion, it's the best pizza in all of Laives. 09/08/2025: A lovely café with a large, quiet terrace under chestnut trees, next to an apple orchard. A nice little playground with a swing, slide, and seesaw. Unfortunately, there's no shade. The menu is modest. They could offer a bit more. The toast and baguette, however, are nothing special. Very friendly service. The restrooms are excellent and clean. We highly recommend it.

20/08/2025: An experience in a beautiful summer retreat! We stayed here with a 3-year-old child, returning from a vacation in Austria to enjoy the silence and nature. The retreat is very beautiful, clean and tidy, as are the rooms, but what amazed us most was the food...fantastic!!! We'd love to return in the winter, given its location right on the slopes.

18/08/2025: The room is a complete disaster, it's above a bank that's being renovated, but you can well imagine how loud it is... the room and cleanliness leave a lot to be desired, you get black feet... Strangely enough, the service and the food are very good... there are two pools, but you can only use one... but there is an underground car park that you can use... Conclusion: first and last time here, a shame, it had potential...

17/08/2025: Goldene Traube Tramin – Great food, lovely ambiance A very nice restaurant with a cozy terrace. We easily got a seat even without a reservation. The speck platter was excellent, the three kinds of dumplings and the Schlutzkrapfen were very good. A real highlight, however, was the pizza: great crust, delicious toppings, and served with chili powder and oregano without asking – exactly how it should be! The ambiance is truly harmonious and invites you to linger. The service was consistently friendly and attentive! All in all, a highly recommended restaurant with excellent cuisine and a beautiful location – we'll definitely be back.

28/07/2025: Highly recommended small hotel in a central location. The atmosphere is intimate and personal, and the staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are clean and modern. The beds are of good quality. The breakfast is varied and of high quality. Overall, a pleasant stay – highly recommended.

26/07/2025: It was a wonderful experience, meeting them was the greatest blessing of my trip. The room was impeccable and welcoming, and the breakfast... simply exquisite!
